Thanks for posting this video and all the videos SteelBuck! I've been watching a lot of them the past few months. Do you have the 1989 or 1990 Pitt-Penn State games? They were both broadcast on CBS. Thanks again! These are fantastic.
Always remember how Enis handed the ball to the referee after every play he scored on. I could never figure out if it was sincere or over the top, but he did it so consistently you couldn’t help but notice and appreciate it. It won’t overshadow him accepting a suit of clothes and lying under pressure, but, hey: NCAA gonna NCAA 🤷🤬
That adds up. They had a lot of pros out there: a mere 8-5 record just seems like a really underachieving performance. Really does speak to underachieving coaching. How the hell Mackovic ever beat Tom Osborne in the midst of Nebraska’s best run of teams ever, I’ll never know.
Hook'em 🤘..but Penn St took us to the pasture that night. Really good Penn St teams back then.
“Fields in the open field!”
Sadly, Joe Paterno will not be around in 2021, he is fondly remembered for coaching the Penn State Nittany Lions in a Fiesta Bowl win over Texas.
`97 was one of my favorite All-Time Penn State Teams. Enis & Harris as good as any RB combo in PSU History, including Lydell Mitchell & Franco Harris.
Texas had priest homes and Ricky Williams in the same backfield 😳😳
Williams was finishing up as a sophomore in this game, while Holmes was a senior
Ricky was a non factor in this one.
Big thanks for posting this one.
Enis was the man until he lied to Joe Pa, but Aaron Harris was a beast!
The Chafie Fields double reverse is at the 31:07 mark

Sorry, I don't have either of those.
Found this, but full game version, for the 1990 matchup ruclips.net/video/b0QVOkS9d5w/видео.html

This game kinda sums up the mackovic era. Talented, defenseless, error prone and inconsistent
Sounds like the Herman era now

You took the words out of my mouth
He was a soft coach but an offensive wizard.
2:26: Lol at Ostrowski not getting his hair cut short or off like the rest of the line
