These are brilliant Chops. Had them for years. So much better than hard wired versions, can swap between assets and easy to hide. The App works great and I get a phone call within 30 secs normally. Impressive little trackers.

I have a couple of these for two years now, they are good and in my opinion worth the money and subscription.
You sometimes get low battery alerts from the unit you hide in the bike, sometimes it's bollocks, all to do with signals.
Which is actually a good thing.
The alerting system is first class; if I even take the cover of my bike without the fob in my pocket it phones me it works well. Sometimes too well & it rings after riding away. A stronger signal between fob and unit would be an upgrade.
Overall good cheap security + you might just want to...

Does it alert you if the bike has moved even an inch? Like a motion sensor compiled with the gps system?

The after sales service is brilliant. Both myself and the Mrs' have one in our bikes and hers kept getting false alarms after about 18 months. With no prompt from ourselves they contacted us to make sure everything was ok. After trying a new battery which only worked for a couple of weeks they sent a new upgraded fob free of charge and sent follow up messages to check everything was working ok.

The main drawback with trackers is down to the disconcerting fact scumbag thieves watch RUclips bike videos, too. Particularly security themed videos. Trackers have been out for years, now. Thieves know as much, and probably a lot more, about trackers than the average rider. They have to, it's part of their 'job'.
There are few thieves that do not do one or more of the following golden rules for bike thievery.....a) damage a bike trying to find a tracker b) park it under a building or in a lockup to defeat GPS and/or c) simply park it up and monitor it for 3 days plus to see if it is recovered from even the top tracker companies that also offer radio beacon location and a subscription search and find.
Do not waste your money on trackers. Instead, make it as difficult as possible for them to steal it in the first place via multiple locks. 90% of thieves, whilst not afraid of getting caught in the joke that is the criminal justice system in Sunak's broken Britain, they still don't want to spend 10 minutes plus trying to steal a bike with chains and multiple disc locks.

I was considering buying summat like this for my bike, but when my bike was stolen a few weeks ago....this kind of device wouldn't have helped as the 3 thieves wheeled my bike a few hundred yards away & set it alight(@ 2:50AM) Now just waiting for my insurer to settle the claim(& the insurer to stop adding to my policy, extra charges for not telling them I'd changed employer!) My bike was only being left outside the garage while waiting for the weather to improve, as a winter storm had flattened the garage & the day after it had been stolen,we've had pretty much constant bright sunny days since & my garage is now ready to be rebuilt(was a tin sheet affair, so this time I'll make a timber frame & fasten the sheets to this & any sheets too bent/twisted to use will have some sheets of ply in their place) This should make any future bike so dam noisy to try steal they bugger off & get arrested hassling someone else.

I took my Invoxia on it's first test ride, where I stopped at a Burger King and ate lunch, and then stopped at a Walmart to buy groceries. When I checked the Invoxia route map when I got home, there was no way telling from the plotted lines and sporadic location points that I had been at either the Burger King or the Walmart. And I had the update frequency set to High.
All I got to say is don't count on a GPS tracker as your first line of defense, but your last line of defense. Put plenty of money into good chains and padlocks because you really don't want to call a friend, have them pick you up, and go on some wild goose chase to sporadic random points along a roadwhere your bike might have been traveling... hours ago.
I plan to hang rape alarms attached on my bike with fish line clipped on to lead sinkers or to the chain.

    • @miniwarrior7

Did you try instant mode? They added this feature over 3 months ago and you get by the minute updates.

    • @choppergirl
      @choppergirl 5 месяцев назад

@@miniwarrior7Well I tried the query now button I think while sitting at home and got that to work, but I was in bluetooth range.
I was under the impression you could change the query speed remotely over the cellular network to every 5 minutes, in case your bike got stolen, and query it for an immediate location fix when you pressed a button. At least that's what one of the representatives said they added it as a new feature, in the comments after a video critisized it.
As simplified as the interface is, I find very frustratingly confusing there are two modes, when you're connected to bluetooth and where you're not, and if you're not... where you expected to find all the settings before under the gear icon, there is nothing. Just make the blasted thing work entirely off the cellular network and ethernet, and only use bluetooth for initial setup... that's how they should of made it. Bluetooth swcks and has no range whatsoever.
I'll use it as my last line of defense, but otherwise I bought a grade 100 chain and some stainless steel abloy 340 locks.
I just got mine, so I'll play around with it some more and try relocating it on the bike, maybe I can get a better signal in a better location. I lost interest pretty quick with it when it did such a poor job when before I left the house I set it in the fast 5 minute mode. I got maybe 6 location points across the cell network in a 2.5 hour travel time span.

UK motorcycle thieves must kinder and gentler than the ones in tne U.S. The police also appear more interested in helping recover than they were when my two motorcycles were stolen last August.
It is nice to see it works. Does the tracking work when the bike is in an enclosed metal structure like a rental truck or metal building? Hopefully your police are more interested in finding stolen motorcycles than mine were.
