The gems definitely look great. I’m really curious if a mixed cut diagram would work well with moonstone. Considering the color that it can have, it would make it interesting. But I will say the spellbound cut was a good choice since it uses barion-style facets.
So when you started this video you had two peaces of these stone and since one was no good did you did the other one and what do you do with the one with the fracture?
I don't know if a mixed cut diagram would work better or not. I think some trial an d error is required, due to the adularescence. I don't see a lot of faceted examples out there, so give it a try!
@@commochief106 I faceted both gemstones and, as with everything I cut, they went to my wife, Bopie and her jewelry store...I don't know what she will do with them, but she did like them, so I think they will become pendants or rings soon.
Looks great thanks for the info from your trials
Thank you!
Nice!!!
Thanks.

Could you please ask Bopie if she would like you to cut a yin yang for her?
A yin yang design has been on my 'to do' list for a while! ...a long while! She does want me to cut one!
@@BOPIESDiamondsFineJewelry I can't wait m8.👍
Shame about that crack, but them’s the breaks. Cool material, well cut.
Thanks!
