I feel like Heather and Sain have set the precedent for Annette to get the move again function in her weapon refine, and that definitely excites me for her future potential (one of the only 2 units I've whaled on). I'd love to pull a Heather for her skill, but I'm sure we will see it on a legendary or new hero sometime in the next few months and until then, I will survive Astra as I have been.
I find myself relying on player phase strategy far more often late aether raids. Early to mid I can be lazy with an omni tank. It feels really good taking down a strong defense with a galeforce or hit/run team.
peony only nulls the penalties but they are still there so sanaki still grabs them for her weapon calcs the only truly bad mode for her is astra-o. also I do think she is guarenteed for AHR's ninjas are always on it and people have a bias towards recent heroes.
The whole Veyle/Omnitank segment just reminded me that I'm very glad I've a Maria-backed Duo Shamir comp in preparation for the event schism actually becomes a problem. Tempo + deadeye seems like the answer to all the DR stacking, and Shamir has the speed to pull it off.
In regards to the skill meta exploding, it’s unfortunately the natural consequences of Rearmed heroes being so successful. We love using them to skill inherent the meta skills to old favorites, so IS increases the skill meta to make us keep spending orbs. As that way we constantly have a backlog of favorites that need new skill inheritance and rearmed/attuned heroes to facilitate this. Im guilty as hell for this, I've summoned Rearmed Grima 20 times and Ophelia 17 times at this point. When going for Rearmed Sonya (which i got 4 of), i ended up with 8 Attuned Peony and 4 Triandra. Then of course I had to get all the tier 4 fighter skills, armored Floe/Beacon, Scowl, Counter Roar, and save skills on Grima. Plus a few random other A skills and such For Ophelia I got A/S Finish and Oath, Mag Null Follow Up, Flare, etc So yeah, Rearmed hereos manipulated the players to seek out the meta skills. For example, in the past we'd summon for each new meta character or favorites. Now we summon for new meta skills and meta characters, plus favorites... and heaven forbid if a favorite gets a great skill, now you might want 1 extra copy to give to a fodder factory. So yeah, it's our fault because we voted for the meta shift with our wallets/saved up orbs. 😅

I've been checking out some of the community's response to Ruse 4 these past few days, and I feel like there is a lot of overreacting/overexaggerating revolving around it. Yes it is a considerable hit towards Catria, however it's not the most accessible (and in abundant quantity yet) skill at the moment, so I would assume that one's defense will not encounter Ruse 4 that often. If anything, the community mentally writing off Catria as "dead, bad, useless, etc" after seeing one counter is going to kill Catria more than Schism is (at the moment). Very enjoyable episode today DTM!!

Great as always! I’m with Joel in a way where I’m not sure Ruse 4 is going to completely eliminate Catria. Was debating over the past few days and I’m just keeping my defense as is since the nukes I have with my Catria kinda don’t “need” the brave hits to work. Worst case I bring in brave units to a “Warp” ball team where it acts like a Catria ball but built around maybe a Gambit L!Elincia as the key support/warp base idk. I like the Attuned heroes, I just wish they gave us something more exciting for the first batch both with units and S-Skills
I think Ninja Laegjarn depends on your score in arena. Back when I was scoring 774 on the Elincia bonus season, Ninja Laegjarn was in almost every arena team I was up against. This season, due to Guinevere being the bonus legend, I dropped to scoring 766, and now Ninja Laegjarn is mostly gone. I'm theorizing that Laegjarn only appears on the upper end of T21 in arena. The borderline scores in Arena don't see her as often.
I kinda wanted to pull N!Sanaki for my Cave Line defense but there's so much to look forward to in the next months, it's hard to justify the average orbs cost. Pulled for the fairies and they're SO good. Hoping to pull a Nah in the tickets so I can reliably GF with them.
We did talk about Dimitri's and the others (as you can see in the timestamps), but honestly it was a pretty mid batch overall with not a lot to talk about besides Dimitri and Plumeria.
these new skills basically force like an extra 200 orb investment in maxing out units now that dont have prf skills... this is the exact opposite of f2p friendly lol. and i dont really get why everyone is underselling oath echo... if 2 units are the exact same except one has oath echo, it has way more maneuverability and playmaking potential than the unit without it. pretty much every unit will appreciate the extra mobility that can equip it.

So. I heard about your Gatekeeper Slander. The greatest unit in all of FEH, winner of CYL5 and secret unit in Three Hopes. This GK slander is unnacceptable from the self-proclaimed number 1 GK player who has beaten PM1, Fehology, and Infantry Pulse in AR. From one who has him +10, uses him in Arena, all 15 AR-O teams, has 2 of him on Defense, is max favor/wins in SD since that modes inception. I cannot stand by this GK slander. I am the rare GK whale that Fehology fears. I will randomly snipe you in AR and beat your defense even if it doesn't have warping at all thanks to power of GK. Your team will be defeated, destroyed, demolished, decimated, disassembled, deconstructed, dismantled, disintegrated. All because you had to give such slander, libel, lies, false statements, defamation, misrepresentation, vilification. HIS POWER IS INFINITE and he only ages better. You will regret all that you have said about GK and feel my wrath as I come for you. Since this is really long and it'll probably sound serious to a rando viewer. DTM likely already figured it out after the second sentence though. I think I should at least say I don't actually care what one says about GK. It actually just makes it easier for me to get away with using him on every team when people downplay him, cause they're significantly less likely to take him into account.

Yep agreed - gave it to my OG Lysithea and freed up her c slot for Pledge / TP4 and I love the movement

I agree with Joel, AOE keeps going up in value. Lots of the meta units in the game get turned off by AOE
