I love Pascal - this is BBC, right? This interview was dumb. WHY? why when you have a great actor answering your questions - would you make it a dumb interview with dumb questions? I feel like the interviewer talked more than Pedro. I really hate when the interviewer tries to highjack an interview.

Pedro has two modes: totally bonkers and chaotic, or serene and calming. This is the latter and I love it.
Love Pedro so much! He's so likable, humble, and funny. He's also a much bigger person than me for always being so kind about his bitter stunt doubles, especially Brendan Wayne, who is constantly shading him on Twitter and Instagram.

@@haveaniceday111 They constantly shade him on IG and Twitter because they want more credit for their role but.....they are stunt doubles and he is the lead actor. He acknowledges them constantly but it's never enough for them. They basically pretend he doesn't exist and they/their friends/family members all pretend that they're the lead roles on the show and ignore Pedro.

As a Chilean, I can't be prouder of Pedro who has been able to succeed in the Hollywood industry in which lately has given Latinoamerican actors like him opportunities. Moreover, I never thought he was going to host the Oscars, but he did it haha.

Thank you Pedro for giving credit to the suit actors because many fans do respect them or just don’t realize that Pedro Pascal is not in the suit majority of the time.
Pedro always gave credit to them, they are the ones who exclude him several times
Ironically, he always gives them credit and they're always shading him publicly on Instagram and Twitter despite knowing what they signed up for. They're not the face of the Mandalorian or the lead - he is. Everyone on the show has stunt men, yet it's only Brendan and Lateef that are shading the lead actor for simply doing his job even though he was hired to be the face and main actor of the show. They absolutely deserve credit but they've been wildly disrespectful toward Pedro and it makes them really unlikable.
@@soemmasays Exactly!!! It’s cringe to see the things I’ve seen them post! Not to mention, you can 100% tell when Brendan is in the suit and not Pedro, he sucks! With his weird ass head movements and over selling. It was horrid in Book of Boba Fett. Pedro was in the suit most of season 2 and only missed a few episodes in season 1. It appears season 3 will not be him, unfortunately I can tell
@@kateb1362 I can't believe Disney lets them get away with acting the way they do and that they've basically been rewarded for their bitter behavior with co-actor credits after years of being nasty toward Pedro. There's a reason why Pedro was chosen and why he's the face of the show. They demean him and his work while he takes every opportunity to praise them and they're the only ones doing it....other stunt people understand their roles and don't act shady toward the main actors. Pedro doesn't deserve it and honestly, it ruins some of the magic of the show when you see that stuff.

Credit should be given where credit is due, and I have IMMENSE respect for the work the stunt doubles have done. Props to them.
But Pedro pascal is the mandalorian. He is the face of din djarin. When Mando walks, does stunts or whatever it is Pedro’s face that I am imagining behind the mask. (Wanted to clarify this after all the shady stuff online, and also because it is simply true)
The Mandalorian is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the Clone Wars. It really is a brilliant show.

I absolutely LOVE that Pedro made sure to highlight Dave Filoni and his contributions/importance.
I believe Pascal when he says he cannot easily do the Mandalorian voice on command because he is someone who almost always smiles when he speaks and that he cannot do when the speaks as the Mandalorian. He has to do a different mimic and stay absolutely serious, I bet. This interview, again by Ali Plumb, one of the best to me! It is unpredictable, funny, delivering new facts and little anecdotes. So many other interviews to me seem to be full of the same questions. Thank you Ali Plumb/BBC Radio 1!

I agree, Mando/Din is comic relief a lot of time and is underrated in that role. I think part of why I love him is his skill it takes to show emotion with a helmet on. Similarly to how intimidating Vader is in his suit. It makes his few moments without his helmet so impactful.

Many praise Pedro’s down to earth attitude and incredibly charming personality, but is actually cultural, something that white/anglophone actors lack because they are pron to get height ticket roles. Latins are very much humble and grateful for every chance they get and recognize not only their opportunities but also those who have helped them achieve it. He’s a delight to watch every time, he inspires joy and passion for his work. ❤
