I'm the player who got 2nd place. Both Mirei and Thunderflame aren't errors and in fact are MVPs of the decklist and brought me to victory more than once. You can do quite good combos with them, and i did during the tournament. Can tell you more if you're curious. The beauty of Sec is you can deckbuild and adapt to the meta rather than just copy paste a standard decklist. The tournament itself wasn't a small tournament, it was a fully fledged regional and the winners of previous regionals attended. It's just that the game has lost playerbase massively due to the game's issues and now tournaments barely fill numbers. There haven't been an European tournament with more than 128 players in ages, and usually they don't even reach that number.
@@digiguardunited I already left a comment time ago mentioning many of those issues, and you did an hour long video claiming none of them were issues. So i'll just reiterate myself in every one of those points, as those are the reasons i hear time and time again from European players when i go to tournaments, since regardless if you agree or not with them, those are the consensus issues making people leave in Europe. And things have gotten worse since then. As for what games they're playing now, that varies a lot. In my local area the game has lost almost all players while Star Wars has gotten a huge raise. Some others have gone to older games, some of us to Pokemon, some others to Yugioh. I've talked with the organizers of some of the Spanish regionals and they told me that almost nobody plays Digimon at their stores anymore and they seem to have switch to One Piece. OP is not very popular in my area but overall i would say it's probably the most played game right now alongside Pokemon but that's an established TCG.

Veemon magnax is my favorite because it finally got its ultimate defense. Previous magna x was so bad people got rid off it with free effects.
