  • If any of y'all gamer dorks comment on my use of thermal paste, I'm gonna throw mayonnaise at you. Mayonnaise is the BEST thermal grease, so leave me alone. And don't get me started on static discharge. I'll touch my parts how I want to.
    What is ASMR? For most, it is a sensation best described as "tingles", usually in the head, neck and shoulders. It is often a pleasant reaction to a stimulus that is triggered by the sensation of touch, sound or reaction to light. Possibly other senses as well, although these seem to be the most common.
    My earliest memory of ASMR was in Elementary school when students would go in for a lice exam. A very gentle, soft spoken nurse would delicately run a comb through my hair and check my scalp and ears. I also have this reaction to nurses during other exams. Another common memory is hair-playing. Girls in grade school would sit in a row and you'd play with the girl's hair in front of you, and the one behind you would play with your hair. My experience with ASMR usually stems from an event of sensation that makes me feel safe and cared for, although there are a number of triggers.
    Some very common triggers: Blinking or light triggers, tapping sounds, mouth sounds, close up whispering, soft speaking, accents, hand movement, tracing with fingers, personal attention, latex glove sounds, skin rubbing sounds, massage, the sound of rain and thunder, Some are unintentional triggers such as watching someone receive a massage, a doctor's exam, a calm, gentle nurse or as abstract as crinkling paper.
    What are your triggers? I am always hopeful for feedback in the comments section. Although I may sometimes be slow to respond, I read every single comment and message. I'm always open to new ideas and want to provide the best ASMR I can to my lovelies, so please share if you're comfortable.

    So one thing to note... If you decide to add in RAM to the other two slots, the AMD protrusion on the CPU fan is going to be in the way of the 4th slot. If possible, it's best to have the fan 180 from the way you put it in. And if you're wondering, yeah I did the same thing once.......

    • @DGneoseeker1
      @DGneoseeker1 Год назад +1

      I had similar issues. Why are they still designing motherboards incorrectly when everyone KNOWS that the CPU fan interferes with RAM heat spreaders?

    I recently built a system going for the absolute quietest PC possible.
    The Noctua cooler for it is HUGE it's absolutely insane. The "be quiet" brand case I picked up was a delight to work with, as well. Put in some Silent Wings fans.
    Easily the most enjoyable build ever, and when the thing is idling it's literally the same decibel level as someone breathing. When it's under load it's about as loud as light rustling leaves... And those measurements are when you're laying on the floor with your head right next to the system. When you're sitting up it is _silent._

    I remember Dmitri doing one of these ages ago and it was awesome. super glad to see you upload this. One of my first asmr experiences was an old tv show where this older guy repaired a painting frame. He didn't talked quietly, you could hear his breathing. But more importantly it was so good to watch someone doing something they were good at and enjoyed.

Also if you can make it longer like 45-1hr. So we can actually fall asleep it takes me a while. I would really appreciate it if you do this video for us. It really helps me & comforts me when I’m going through bad migraines! Which I have often cause I’m a migraine sufferer! 🥰

      I think it is funny how the basics are the same, but everything is easier and more clear than it used to be. More user friendly I guess. And as far as I've heard you don't need to be as careful with static discharge as you did back in the 90-00's as the electronics are better protected. Also I remember what a culture shock it was when I got my first PC with bios UI that supports a mouse.
