This film should win the following at the Oscars. Best Director, he deserves this (Christopher Nolan), Best Actor (Cillian Murphy), Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score (Ludwig Goransson), Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.)
@@DeeptimanChatt2. I'm personally fine with either winning. But I hope Across the Spider-Verse at least gets nominated....Oscars don't respect well made comic book movies enough...
you created one of the best edits of this movie i've seen. something that actually captures what it was like seeing it for the first time. amazing work.
I had the same nightmares when I was studying Computer Science and Quantum Physics. When he says he was "home sick emotionally immature troubled by the vision of a hidden universe...". This is strange to have seen that on the big screen as I thought I was crazy at the time. It is a way to depict it but it wasn't exactly like this but the music and visual portrayed it well. I wonder how Chris Nolan did that and if it was intended.
you have a lot of talent parker this video is magnificent, Oppenheimer is probably the best movie of the year the cast the actings the photography and cinematography are exquisit Cilian Murphy did a phenomenal Job he needs to win a damn oscar or another award 👏
He's right to say the Nazi's shouldn't have it. After all, the practical arguments against the hydrogen bomb as a weapon of were based on its inability to be delivered by aircraft. Wernher von Braun never had that limitation (and in fact developed both the USSR and US' delivery methods). He'd have done it for the Nazis if they asked. It was always closer to his vision of hitting the moon, and he never cared who died to get there.
Oppenheimer: Albert, when I came to you with those calculations, we thought we might start a chain reaction that would destroy the entire world. Einstein: I remember it well, what of it? Oppenheimer: I believe we did. Einstein pales and leaves Oppenheimer, terrified, passing Strauss without a word. We then witness the devastating vision of a nuclear apocalypse, missiles carrying atomic warheads firing into the sky, the deadly flames engulfing the Earth, as the Destroyer of Worlds close his eyes in despair.
What a movie! The structure of this video is perfect, you showed everything you need to know about the film in 9 minutes. The second part is chilling. Great work. Keep it up!
You're an amazing editor with a very good sense of compact short form storytelling, awesome work as always.. I'd love to see an edit of masterworks like the lighthouse (fantasic edits and potential for you) and Che (2008)(I'd work with your editind style well and it'd be a challenge worth trying)
hats off to you for this masterpiece. But a recommendation, add subtitles/caption on the corner of the screen cuz it is easier to understand. Because there are lots of scene where a person can not know what they said.
Great work on the structure of the video, the music choices and the clips. Very good stuff. Something with a lot of room to improve on, though, is the sound design. There's many audio pops and the audio also goes over the peak at many points. I know from experience how difficult sound design is but audio is half of the video, so it's something to put more focus on.
Thank you SWFT. And yeah I tried my best to cover up the popping but that was something I actually couldn’t fix. It was a software problem and there wasn’t anything I could do to fix it.
The bit that got me was when Strauss’s aide said Oppenheimer & Einstein weren’t talking about him. They were talking of something more important. 😮😢😮 those two eternally clever men who realised what had been wrought. That there wouldn’t be an inch of the world not holding even a fraction of the taint of the bombs. That it opened a door. 💔 I sat after the film ended, staring unblinking at the screen, my heart in my throat 😢
I've only read his biography deeply, did not see the movie yet. But cinematically, I genuinely feel what he felt. The fear of being the cause of death and soreness of hundred thousand innocent civilians. Unintentionally, he became the fear of himself. I really wonder what is the source of these illustrations you took. I'd be really thankful if you tell me.
If you’ve read American Prometheus, you’ll love the movie. It’s a masterclass on screenplay adaptation from such a dense book - the events but also the essence was captured beautifully
the real tragedy is that while he was the smartest guy in the room, a pivotal player in world history, a man whose name will never be forgotten to history , the fact is is daughter committed suicide, his son changed his name so as not to be known as his son and his own personal addiction to tobacco and distilled spirit gave him the cancer that killed him. as a father, a husband and a man he was a failure .@@KaiFuzzybutt
Great music video. Oppenheimer certainly deserves all the nominations, winning however is a whole other matter. Killers of The Flower Moon, Maestro, Poor Things and a few others are deserving as well. It's too bad that Dune was delayed, this Oscars race is going to be good.
I am a Japanese. I do not feel any offense while watching this movie but instead I saw the another great scientist ruined by the WWII. I am sad that his creation became the curse instead of gift.
