Hello, please is it first or second generation ? And what do you think about the sound ? I heard beolit 20 year ago and now I heard beosoud 1 2nd gen in real life and I think Beolit 20 was better. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to compare them side by side. Thank you and have a nice day :)
It's a 2nd gen, and I liked it a lot. It's a totally different product than the Beolit range as it has built in streamers and such. In terms of just sound a beolit 20 may be a bit better, but you'll always need your phone to operate it. So different use cases for sure.
i made the mistake of falling asleep with headphones on after my supper tonight, woke up an hour ago wide awake il pay for this tmrw lol, in high insight i should have probably bought beosound one instead of the edge for my kitchen as my kitchen isnt the biggest so its overkill really altho its nicely out of the way on its station clock bracket, but shhh i didnt say that, its not a cheese wheel willie its a very good speaker :p (hes not the mesiah hes a very naughty boy) lol
ps if you or anyone else in europe happen to stumble across some century grills on ebay pass the item number onto me on sunday in chat pls, nothing suitable on ebay uk at the moment :( it would help me out immensly, my grey/black ones smell awful with yrs of cooking smells, tried car upholstery foam on them then put febreeze on them, was better but still not right :( (edge took its place) grey again preferably, but green or burgandy (red) would be fine too as i think its gonna be making its way to my neice for her to use in her bedroom, thanks :)

Compared to wedge where does it stand on sound, same league ?

They aren't the same type of product, the Beosound 1 is truly wireless as it also has a battery in it.
