"The nose looks terrific Doctor..."
Anyways, I'll be doing a giveaway of Bioshock: The Collection for Christmas. It'll be one copy for PS4 and one for Xbox 1. I'll stream on Christmas Eve and announce the winners live! Happy Holidays ladies and gents.
"A man named Steinman taught me this. He's a bit of a lunatic but a fine surgeon. He calls this little trick a transoribital lobotomy."
God, don't remind me of that.
aaaaaaaAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!?!?! I JUST GOT OVER THA TRAUMA, WHY!?!?!
aaaaaaaAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!?!?! I JUST GOT OVER THA TRAUMA, WHY!?!?!
I kinda wonder if that qualifies as a real lobotomy
It's okay. Jack made it all better
"he's ugly. Ugly! Ugly!! UUUUUGLYYYYYY!!!" - Dr. Steinman
I didn't know he was a drug addict before he came to Rapture. ADAM boosted his addiction. Ryan invited him without knowing his drug problems. Maybe Ryan wouldn't had invite him despite being a great surgeon.
When you first find Dr. Nutjob he is carving up a splicer that is still alive... "This is one is too small, this one is too fat and this one is too symmetrical." Yeah I was a bit creeped out.
Yup. Dude went straight up insane.
@@TheBioshockHub I feel sorry for Dr. Steinman.
@@dr.robotico8500 I do and don't. I feel bad because he was an extremely good surgeon, but he spliced way too much.
@@TheBioshockHub Because of ADAM. The genetic material.
@@TheBioshockHub i feel bad for everyone in that damned city, if it not for adam rapture would most likely be ok
He reminds me of Professor Pyg
RapaidFire4535 believe it or Dr Steinman and Professor Pyg where created on the same year
The small difference in how this video is narrated, where You phrased a lot of sentences by yourself instead of reading through a wiki page changes a lot. I personally found it a lot more entertaining and, well, feeling more humane. There's just something unique when people make their own scripts. Bravo on that :D
I made a mistake early on during the birth of this channel, but I write all scripts from now on unless it's a live video like the Bioshock 2 multiplayer videos or where I'm just speaking my thoughts.
@@TheBioshockHub Speaking live is great as well, and it fits the nature of multiplayer videos. You're doing great with it :D
Ever do a video about Rapture’s “current status”? And the horrific possibility of what would happen if the ruins were found?
You just gave me a really good idea for a video... Thank you! Also, you earned yourself a shoutout in that video :)
Thats what I want the new game to be about...hands down lol
At the end of Bioshock 2 it had looked like the city had lost power. The city was already in ruin by Bioshock 2, especially since some areas were flooding with ocean water. I would assume the splicers would eventually die our from natural causes. I'm guessing that the city by now would be void of life, flooded, and rusted up like the Titanic, which would still be surprising for anyone to find years later.
Imagine finding an abandoned modern city in the ocean and having no idea why it's there. No one seems to know what it is and there are very little records hinting about its existence.
I hear there's another confirmed Bioshock coming out, so maybe they'll mention the status of Rapture if it takes place after it.
@@Kehwanna I've heard the game could take place in a reality where Colombia and Rapture both existed, apparently in the late 1970s and apparently in London England. But that was just speculation. Not sure about the actual location and/or dimension that the game would be set in. But I think Rational Games needs to remember what Elizabeth said at the end of Bioshock Infinite: There's always a man, there's always a lighthouse, and there's always a city.
@@exodia9817 That would be awesome. If Columbia appears again, it would be a Columbia without a Comstock or possibly one where it never seceded from the U.S. All the Comstock timelines were eliminated, though apparently not all the Booker and Anna timelines, so they may show up again.
Speaking of that last quote, I always wondered if that's linked to something. Perhaps the next game will explain the origins of the light tower, the man, and maybe the cities or timelines. Possibly the timelines are all result from a paradox that started with a project in a lighthouse?
Imagine going in for a surgery and your waiting for a long time before being put under, and you ask the nurse if everything is ok and she says,”
She: well the doctor that you requested isn’t here anymore, but it’s ok because another Dr is coming in to do your operation.
Person: What is this Drs name?
She: Dr. Steinman
I'd run out of the room lol.
I'd get the heck out of there 😂
I'd say "screw it, cancel my appointment"
Her saying it as your being put under lol
Nope nope nope
Hopefully "Parkside" has a creepy vibe like Rapture did in the first 2 games!
I hope so too!
It’s stated in the book he freebased cocaine and ether, hence the conversations with Aphrodite.
Medical pavilion was the definitely the scariest level in BioShock history
Bioshock is an amazing game series. I wish more ppl l we about it. Bioshock 1 and 2 were epic. The story line a dark theme was amazing. Bioshock 2 multiplayer was amazing. They are making a new bioshock game in Montreal and i hope it has multilayer .
You:Too symmetrickal
Dr. Steiman:Im gonna end this mans whole career
I honestly wonder where their going with the new bioshock these old games are just lore treasure troves waiting to be busted open lol I want to revisit Rapture and see where it has gone after the first 2 games...maybe we go back and see the horrible creatures the surviving splicers have become to survive in what remains of rapture or maybe itll be a whole new "man and city" type concept either way I'm along for the ride
That's what I'm thinking.
Holy crap, i knew that Steinman was crazy but i never knew he did cocaine on the surface! That's just so messed up. Awesome video, by the way.😎
I know right? And thank you!
Is it much of a surprise tbh he seemed like the kinda guy
Imagine instead of making people ugly, it just made him into the worlds. Best, Sergent
Great information placed in the video 👍🏻
And lovely video 👍🏻
"Kids... Don't do drugs".
Yes! Been waiting on this one!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Great stuff. Almost caught up to the new vids.
Thanks so much for this. I'm going down the Bioshock rabbit hole now that I'm playing the remaster on Switch. Made a huge mistake by running into Steinmans room after tripping an alarm and kind of missing all the content. Thank god these videos exist so that I can see what happened. The part where he says 'too symmetrical' is so crazy.
Amazing video as aways, man! Keep em coming
Thank you :D
4:19 😂😂He said a cracked out surgeon. I’m dead. 5:41 😂😂Real rap.
Awsome video as always 😊
Thankyou.
:)
Great video!
Imagine getting killed in your workplace by your boss' son.
Oh wait.
Awesome!! Thanks man!!
Thank you!
Great video as always! I wanted to say something which isn’t related to Steinman but to Tenenbaum. I think I’m the only one who’s notice this but anytime her or the scientists is brought up in conversation everyone always refers to Tenenbaum as “Kraut” I mean it makes sense but it pisses me off, she is my favorite character and all but literally everyone refers to her by said name. It’s more evident in the novel as well.
Anyways a toast to New Year’s Eve 1959! 🥂
Oh and another thought I wish there were Bioshock themed cards like the ones on Steam.
Unfortunately, even with her being as intelligent as she is, people treated her like an outsider. She's one of my favorites as well.
TheBioshockHub I would like to also mention even Suchong insults her via that audio log when finding Lot 192. If I were in Rapture I would stick with Tenenbaum despite the whole Little Sister thing, even though I know Jack (pun intended) about advance science.
It is sooo nice to go to Erik’s 2019 videos!
Thank you for the amazing content man! Keep it up! Could you please make a vid about the zealots? I would appriciated alot!
Sure I can! And thank you for the amazing support
@@TheBioshockHub
No problem man!
Love all the content about the bioshock franchise, so keep it coming if possible, but make sure you stay healthy as well.
The creepier the content the better imho!
I like these story videos they pretty instresting what happened to them before the main story of rapture or coloumbia
And I love making these videos :)
Love his work
Steinman: What's this goddess? An intruder. He's ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly!!!!!!
Me: What is this. A mad doctor. He's crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy!!!!!!
I thought this was Steinman's origin story! Not a PSA on drugs!
Lmao
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i didnt realize but somehow i sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the video without even realising
I'm glad!
fun fact:you can instantly kill Steinman with and electric shock and a flaming arrow
Yeah, it sure was. Dr. Steinman was best doctor surgeon arrive before Jack arrive and became splicer.
Your right about 1958 before Dr. Steinman became Leadhead Splicer after Delta death and multiplayer begin in 1959. After multiplayer reach rank 40 in 1960 Jack arrive begin now.
6:29 Yeah right, reminds me that Religious imagery of Steinman in BioShock 2 when Delta in Siren Alley
. After Jack defeated him.
Perfectionist surgeon on acid ( ADAM ). What could go wrong, right?
A new face.
The link to Atlas was completely new to me. That's awesome
I thought it was pretty cool as well, but it makes sense now.
@@TheBioshockHub yes, totally dude! Really adds to the world
@@tylerdunnan5059 I just love backstories like this so much.
You only need to hear his first audio tape to realize that god forgot to put the last few screws into this guys noggin correctly. Guys loonier, then a big daddy hit by an enraged plasmid. Or if you really want to hit the point home, he’s more fucked up then Andrew Ryan after a bad game of golf
Im listen to preacher rn 🔥💯
As the late Hunter S. Thompson said "There's nothing more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge.."
Dr. Steinman, what a cut-up! Imagine bringing him to a Botox Party, ladies. Lol! ( maniacally )
Steinman was an incredible crazy S.O.B
i've played through the part where i see steinman doin some horrific things to a poor splicer steinman went a bit batshit insane don't do cocaine kids cause that drug can mess you up
Story summed up at 3:16 lol that’s all folks
Do you think you could do a best tonics video?
Sure.
TheBioshockHub thanks!
I like your style a lot
Thank you!
“ What is this Goddess, an Intruder! He is ugly. Ugly! UGLY!!! Look at you hiiiiideous!”
It would be dope if you read the BioShock rapture novel to us
You think so? I'm not sure if it would do well. :/
@@TheBioshockHub if you put the time into it, you'd do great
I guess Ork Mad Dok decided to hop reality and landed on human doctor in place where ethics and standards were actively discouraged.
What exactly did Sinclair get out of Steinmen?
Bioshock 1 imo it the best, the other 2 i didn't care toplay anymore are I found out that the other two games simply because they didn't add new game plus. killing what replay value they had :(
Even without a new game + for Bioshock 2 and Infinite, there's still a ton of replay value. There's always a new method to approach a playthrough.
I'm back
Hello there.
6:50 worst aiming ever
tbh who isn't crazy in rapture
Give hand up if you want to have Dr Steinman as your dentist ;)
god man my future is fucked
first this guy, full of skill, uses drugs and then goes down hill
second Dr Death, full of skill, uses drugs and then it all goes down hill
me, future neuro/plastic surgeon very smart smokes weed once a week on my days off watching movies or going to concerts and if i have to drive to concert i usually find a friend to drive and i pay for their ticket to the show goes it all go down hill?
weed helps with my anxiety but i would like to quit but its hard so how can i keep my weed while being a neuro/plastic surgeon ? yikes man hopefully weed is legalized in the future and treated the same as booze
Cocaine a hell of a drug
So is ADAM :P
Read a literal second before he said that
mrcoldman1515 having that happens a hell of a drug
HEY WOAH WOHA WOAH WHAT? Atlas becomes Frank Fontaine?! Dude I haven't even got that far yet maaaan :(
This one too tall, This one too short, This one.... too symmetrical, what’s that an intruder!!?? And he’s ugly, ugly, UGLY!!!!!!!!
"Nurse, scalpel".
This video felt drunk..I was going to mention that you got a lot of details wrong at the beginning but you later backtrack and just recognize the meandering incorrect information in the first half of the video wasn't fully relavant..maybe just edit the mistakes next time and complete your script with the full research before recording? It's not worth the extra run time to leave you audience feeling confused and like you wasted half the video for them.i get that you are fairly new and still learning a lot. You make a mature mistakes fairly common in your vids and seem to be trying to find your feet still as a narrator/writer but this one was especially agregious..just some friendly advice. I recently stumbled on your channel and nothing has been TOO aweful. I closed a few videos early but enough have been OK to make it through and see more. If I had started with this one though, I would have moved on and not followed your channel. I want you to have the oppertunity to grow and succeed so I felt I'd just give feedback on this one in particular. It's never a good idea to do a "documentary" style video like this where start by giving so much wrongful background info then retract halfway through.
Great video!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
