Original, genuine, relatively decent, and absolutely hysterical. Dusty, you are currently one of the best comics out their. Just stay true and remain grounded, and you are bound to have an outstanding impact on this arena (i.e. comedy).
When you were talking about the water I thought for sure you were going to tell us you and your mom ended up getting the runs! Glad that didn't happen! The best memories I have in my life were times I spent alone with individuals in my family. Times you had a blast and you'll never regret it!

Wow, I love that story! We just went to Cozumel for the first time last month. The thing that stood out on our trip was the row of booth-like mercantile opportunities that lined the entrance to the restaurant next to our condo. Pharmacy, massages, clothing, a tank of minnows to put your feet in...very strange. If they didn't have what you wanted, they'd find someone who did. Glad you survived the scooter challenge!
It’s awesome that you are still small enough on RUclips that you actually read and respond to comments from the people that make the channel work. So many forget all about their followers when they achieve a certain level of success and advertising revenue, yet continue to remind new viewers to “like and subscribe”. I saw a video recently of you doing the bits about the trailer park and sizzler while sporting a beard, cap and long hair. I have to say that your material (stories) were hilarious, callbacks and timing (the one about the afghan in particular) were near perfect. I did find the outfit a little over the top, but do what you think is best. Best wishes for your success and sincere thanks for being funny, entertaining and genuine while not being vulgar, filthy-mouthed or jumping on the political band wagon. We don’t want politics in our entertainment.
Reminds me of my days wandering through towns in Uruguay. Didn't know where you where at, but that was fine so long as you had time on your hands. You brought back some great memories; thanks Dusty! 🇺🇾
I think it’s awesome you and your mom partied and had such a blast together on a cruise. I’d never imagine doing that with my mom. You two have a special relationship 😆. That was a great story!
I did the vacation with my mom at age 37. I stayed drunk the whole time. That's the secret to having a good time with your parents "alcohol". Although drinking with family is also why I eventually had to get sober.
Man I could listen to you tell stories for a good 7 maybe 8 minutes at a time. 14 minutes at the most. And then I start to wonder... why aren't these clips a little longer. 🤣🤣 Having a good time
@first i thought you said that you only brought enough money to buy PICTURES of beer lmfaooo I don't even watch podcasts fyi but I've watched all of your standup (several times) I could find on RUclips so here we are. hell you can leave right now if ya want to ~don't let me hold you back 😭😭😭
FYI, FUN FACT/story. I was having the Internet installed in my home yesterday and the technician dude looked like TJ Miller. He had no clue who that was until I mentioned Deadpool and he Googled him and said he'd take it. (He's only 29, I'm 41. 😅😅- I asked since he didnt know who TJ Miller is) Anyhoo. I was listening to your Trailer Park set again, (Probably my 6th time now🫣👏🏻 This is the fun part) and this dude said "ohhh you listening to ol' Dusty?!" I was overjoyed that this technician installing my Internet knew who you were immediately upon hearing your voice, on my phone nonetheless so it wasn't terribly loud. Ahhh man. Good times were had. You're getting me through some rough times right now. Trying to get my business going. My 15-year-old son thats ASD/SPD looks so much like you. This kid is so dang cool. You'd get a kick out of him. He smirks/smiles big when I say I'm watching the guy he looks like with his hat on. Lolololol. And I actually did grow up in a trailer park as a kid/teen. Lmfaooo. There were boys exactly how you've described. I live in Iowa though. Bwahahahahahahahaha. Ahhh man. Laugh hard every single time I listen to ya. You have excellent timing and you're naturally funny so you've got great things going for you and I wish you much success!!!! Please send some good vibes if you got 'em. Trying to get my online boutique off the ground. It's been rough, but the belly laughs definitely help!! Cot dayng, I need these gut busters. Haha. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 To you and your wife!
This reminds me of a trip to Acapulco, Mexico. We took my brother for a graduation gift. We had a blast. We made the mistake of getting off the beaten track for tourists. I speak Spanish and went into a market place that was locals only. We were in trouble. I told my husband and brother we needed to go. They didn’t hesitate to leave. When we got back in the car, they said they felt uncomfortable there. I told them that we were being targeted. I live 7 miles from the Mexican boarder and used to walk all over the market area alone. Unfortunately, the cartels have changed this and Mexico is no longer safe. It was beautiful and fun. I have not been to Mexico since the year 1999-20.
Dusty. I watched your 2 week’s notice video about a year ago with my my. We rediscovered you through the algorithm tonight. We’ve been missing out but this is our second chance. We’re burning through your videos. Keep up the podcast. You’re killing us
Dusty without the long hair and beard, reminds me of a guy I went to HS with. On the other hand, Dusty with the long hair and beard, also reminds me of a guy I went to HS with. Dusty, Nate Bargatze and Brian Regan are my favorite comedians because I can actually watch them with my children. I look at my kids as they are LOL'ing, and say, "We're having a good time."
“I guess Raggedy Anne and Raggedy Andy had either divorced, or Raggedy Andy passed. I don’t know. So I was Raggedy Andy Jr.” Things I never thought I’d hear. But now I’ve heard, thanks to Dusty Slay.
Awesome story! I went on a cruise with my son, age 25, I felt like the whole time I had to keep saying, “this is my son “ so people didn’t think I was a cougar 😂😅.
Great story, as always! "Don't drink the water" and "they love to haggle" is how you call someone a filthy savage while pretending you aren't racist. And considering this condescending advice comes from people who work on a cruise ship, where unsanitary conditions and haggling are the norm, is poetically ironic.
That's not necessarily true. In many places around the world people take great pride in their ability to make a good deal - and when American tourists come and don't even try - sure, they take the money - who WOULDN'T take a week's wages for two t-shirts when it's offered? - but they might be disgusted by these tourists who are so much wealthier than they are that they can pay outrageous prices like that and not even think about it. Also, drinking the beer isn't a problem, because the alcohol will kill the bacteria that are likely to make you sick. That's historically why people drank beer instead of water. The water in the food is a little trickier, but isn't _necessarily_ a problem, especially if sufficient heat was used in the cooking of it.
When my mom married my step dad, 11 of us got moctezumas revenge in zijuatenajo (pardon my Spanish spelling.) we had ‘doctors’ coming to our hotels and giving us shots in the arse. We rolled with it because we felt so bad. Most of us had it for three months to some degree. Digestive issues, cramps etc. I never drank the “water,” but I drank iced tea and ate salads after tiring of coke after coke.
Don’t drink the water, and never eat anything raw that you can’t peel. Lived in Southeast Asia for a long time and these are just simple rules. Best places there but countryside be careful.
Was anybody else (everyday else let's face it) waiting for shit to go south during that whole story???!!!! That's why I clicked on this video! I was like this ain't gonna end well..... And it did haha! Little disappointed but that was still entertaining. Go see Dusty Slay live! You won't regret it. He's hilarious. He deserves his own stand alone hour long Netflix special. The funniest thing about this whole story is that fact that dusty had a pair of overalls packed for a cruise
Dude, funniest thing I have read tonight!

I yelled, OVERALLS!?! Like what did he just say? 😂 pretty funny!
I've seriously listened to "I'll fly away" at least a dozen times in the last 24 hours and then boom, here you are talking about it. It's a good time
@@DustySlay I'm definitely digging Alan Jackson singing it. Honored by the reply. 🙏

"stand up honest fellow".... All I know is he is at least half of that 😏. Bad joke
Sounds like you and your mom need to take another cruise together.
That's awesome to do with your mom I wish I could have done something like that with my mom.

It's so fun that you were able to 'have a good time' going on a cruise with your mom...
Great story indeed. What a good son. I just figured out why I like Dusty so much. He could've been in my pack of friends growing up. Very relatable.
I enjoyed the story. What I liked the most about it is you were hangin' with Mom. Good stuff.
