I don't use Reaper whatsoever but this video made perfect sense of all videos I've watched regarding Dante/Broadcasting & Channel set up. So appreciative for your style of teaching, this has been such an easy series to watch and follow along. THANK YOU!!

Thank you-- great video. We are currently mixing our live stream off our FOH console and considering options to improve our livestream.

First initial sample sounded over driven on the vocals, the second (better??) sample sounded way over saturated, no dynamics whatsoever, but hey, that's personal choice/preferences

Thanks for putting all this together! How do you handle the main mix plugins when changing between music praise moments and speech/sermons? Usually those stereos/ADTs are too much for voice-only moments.

I don't put anything like that on the master bus. If you look at my master bus chain, it's really just compression and EQ.

I love this channel. I have a question. My church have a old beringer analogic sound system and we a bad livestream due that. So we have been thinking about buy a mixer, a digital mixer to have a independencea and at least a good livestream. We want a beringer x32 with Dante but is out our budget, because the PA church sound will need some changes. May our church buy a beringer x32 (PA) and we use Dante with a Daw(Livestream) . We gonna have mixing independence?

Yes, you can put a dante card in the x32 and create an isolated mix exactly as I'm demonstrating in these videos.

Bom dia na Paz de Cristo meu irmao.
      Duvidas:
Ja precisou usar plugin de REPLACE (em tempo real) na bateria?
Caso sim, como resolver essa enorme diferenca???????
TRIGGER 2 (Slate Digital) - latencia: 1113 spls.
SPL DrumXchanger (Plugin Alliance) - 2208 spls.

@@nemdobaixo I don't do a whole lot of drum replacement, but when I do need to do it live, I use a plugin by synthedit called Drum Trigger, it's zero latency and actually works pretty well, although is pretty rudimentary compared to Slate or the others. That being said, I can't seem to find where to download that plugin anymore, it doesn't seem to be available anymore - so I guess I'm not being very helpful. An alternative would be to put a Sample Delay plugin on all your other tracks to maintain alignment between your tracks. plugins4free.com/plugin/3341/

Where can we find these free pluggins that you are using? Thanks

In this video I'm using mostly Waves plugins, which aren't free. The Wider plugin is linked in the description above. In the next video after this I show all free plugins and you can find those in that video's description. ruclips.net/video/N4eY6t5vKKA/видео.html

Tanks you for the great videos! They're really helpful and I'm trasitioning from broadcasting via my Wing console to using Macbook and Reaper.
I was wondering, is it possible to use Trigger 2 for live streaming? The thing is that it adds some latency to the chanel. It's not noticable as of now, all other plugins I'm using are 0 latency ...
Is it really bad using some of the plugins with latency? I haven't tried this yet, but I'm working on a template to start broadcasting soon.
Or maybe other DAWs are better at handing such things? What would you suggest?
    Thanks a lot !

      @BallastMedia  8 месяцев назад

If you must use a plugin with a lot of latency, one way to address this would be to do the Plugin Delay Compensation yourself, by adding a sample delay plugin to all your other channels and dialing in the number of samples that the first plugin is reporting. Something like this: plugins4free.com/plugin/3341/
