Love ‘dem stockers. Lake trout is our only natural producing trout in the Great Lakes. 😎😎

looked like a really fun day out chasing coho. they didn't really do the coho crazy for you, water must have been pretty chilly.

Great video and info! On your board setups with dodger/fly combos it looks like your using inline weights. Just curious what OZ is your standard go to on this setup and is there a dive chart to know what depth they run at different speeds.
    Thanks

Not sure what size Capt. Dylan was using. I typically run 5/8oz but there is no right or wrong here other than recommending to use the same size weights across your rods. There is no depth chart that we know of but you're really only fishing the first 7' of water column at this point.

Great video as always. I always enjoy watching videos that involve learning rather than just watching someone reel in fish. Did you use any weights with the planer board rods? If so what type of weight and how far from the dodger?

Thanks! Yes, keel weights are used and placed 4-6' ahead of the dodger. Size of the keel weight can be anything from 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 etc but we recommend sticking to the same weight size for all the rods.
