Interesting conversation. Question 1: I want to know from Lennart, who is his ideal client and why? Question 2: I am getting a sense that NDE 4.0 is a "Nice to have" rather than "Must have". What am I missing? Do you have any examples of companies not using NDE 4.0 that are suffering because they aren't adapting? Thank you Dr. Vrana!

Congratulation for thia great presentation. My question is related to weld test. Could you bring more details from the AI applied on weld inspections, what type of weld and wall thickness did you tested? What PoD can be achieved? Thanks, Robson Manão

Thanks a lot for the video, it was very interesting!. I have questions regarding the use of AI/Machine learning, as a company are you concerned about the interpretation of NN? do you value the interpretability of more simple models of machine learning where you provide the input features?
Lets do an example, we have a NN (probably convolutional) is able of a 90% of classification accuracy and the best of the machine learning models is an 80%. NN is better but you are able to understand the machine learning model because you know the input features such as gaussian filter, frequency domain.. and whatever... Not only that but probably you a "rank " on how important they are.
Is this a topic or I am making things too hard?
I guess you know it but weka for fiji is amazing in this task.

Interpretability of AI and trust in AI are big topics. This is why most companies are working on explainable AI solutions. In my eye - in some future - we should come to qualification solutions for AI which builds the trust for solutions like NN.
