    I'm looking for a boot cuff pattern and this looks perfect. Is it possible to do this in the round? How do I change it to make it work in the round. Love this pattern! Thanks for your help.

    Hi Carolina, I don’t have the suggested yarn you used to make this pattern. I have a medium 4 moyen (soft & shiny (but not too shiny) yarn I was hoping to use up. Would I just have to knit a swatch with the suggested needle size on the yarn and then knit the pattern according to your instructions? Thank you for your help. I love your channel and your patterns. One of your woolly flocks🥰

      @sowoolly  Месяц назад

      Hi Julie, no worries. Do that and see if you like the look of it. Swatching is not only good for measuring, but also to check the tension.
      Maybe the suggestion on the label is good enough for you, or you decide to go up or down a needle size if the fabric is too tight or too loose. Happy knitting, and thank you for your lovely comment 🤗

    Hello. First thank u very much for being so sharing. I did a double take on this pattern since I like the unusual. I was wondering ,if u had time, how would u make this into a 2 or 3 color pattern? Or do you think it shldnt be. Thanks and hve a HAPPY DAY!!

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  3 года назад

      Thank you Sue Elizabeth! I think this one would look better in one color only. The original Chevron is better for multiple colors . Have a great day 🤗

    Hello I haven't learned any patterns from your site,but I think all are beautiful and you are a great knitter.
    I learned this pattern in a knitting class long time ago, unfortunately ì got sick and quit knitting for several yrs.
    I made several scarves using this pattern but I tried to use it and it doesn't look right.
    Wonder if I tell you how I wrote it down you help me if this pattern has a name. I'll appreciate it.
    It has a even number of stitches counting by
    fours like 4×4equal 16
    It's a four row pattern.and repeat the rows in same order.
    Row 1P2 K2
    How 2 P1 K2 P1
    Row 3 K2 P2
    Row4 K1 P2 K1
    Maybe, ì need tò do a row of K or P first before I start the pattern.
    I ĥope I hear from you and thank you.
    Ɓea.

    Im new..how do I tell what is the wrong and right side of the work?

    • @sowoolly
      @sowoolly  4 года назад +1

      Normally the pattern will tell you 😉 If it’s a reversible pattern, then both sides work as the right side of the work
