Has anyone done this on curly hair? I have naturally curly hair and I wonder if this would still look as good or if I would have to straighten my hair first. I'd really prefer not to have to straighten my hair.
When you said, "I know there's a lot of elastics in here, but I have a secret weapon..." (paraphrasing), I actually wasn't thinking about how to get all those elastics out (seam-ripper is a good idea there), I was actually thinking about the environmental impact of all that plastic being tossed (those mini elastic things are rarely reused). I wonder if there are eco-friendly elastics on the market? The amount of wasted elastic bands is really the only thing stopping me from doing a style like this. It is very pretty though!
