Absolutely awesome video, Ed!!! Great shots and editing! It’s amazing to be able to see how severe the impact from Maria was, even well inland! I’m glad you and your family were all Ok. And the dedication to Jim Leonard is wonderful!
Great compilation of Hurricane Maria's hit in my beloved Caguas! You did a great job, Edwin. That 1st half was really packing quite the punch. I think the damage supports the possibility of sustained Cat-4 conditions even there as the eyewall propagated inland. After all inland in PR is 15 miles at best, lol. Gusts were undoubtedly in that range. Congrats on a job well done.
Great job, Edwin! It was very interesting for me to see the impact in Caguas. The damage shots at the end really capture how bad it was. P.S. I notice the winds seem to suddenly shift direction at 13:50. Very cool.
iCyclone Thank you for your feedback. This is my strongest hurricane so far. Everything was impressive in the core of the hurricane. I remember it like yesterday.
@@BadWeatherfreak 76mph. Obviously the winds were exponentially higher, but is very hard to measure extreme winds with weather stations. My minimum pressure was 949mb
Apparently Puerto Ricans have no understanding of the concept that when a traffic light is out, then you need to treat the intersection as a 4-way stop!
Excelente video Ediwn, nada de musica charra, nada de narrativa babosa, solo la camara y la furia de la naturaleza.

And thanks for the mention!
Thanks you brother!!
What do you think the sustained winds were in Camuy? We felt the eye even. I'd say, at max, 145mph.

Esa estación del weather al principio de el video. Sobrevivió? Did the weather station from the beginning of the video, did it survived?
Yes! 🙂
@@CycloneEd what was the strongest winds it recorded?
