    I never will forget one of Jimmy's ledes: "The first funeral for Andrew Goodman was at night and it was a lot of work. To begin with they had to kill him..."

    Never knew much of the man. I guess I was still just a bit young. I can tell just from this clip that I missed what a great character Jimmy Breslin was. Rest in peace Jimmy.

    crazy thing is I Googled the first two daughters he mentioned, and they both died. I'm too depressed to check the rest.

      He didn't want to talk.He just used that gimmick to eat up time so not to say anything pertinent to the times.

      steve conn Hardly. One of the two greatest journalists ever in New York. And Royko was great.
