I'm 71 years old I got your channel here I was raised on a farm till I was 12 and always wished I could have found myself I find you to be a very nice and intelligent man and anybody that says anything wrong about you they're the fool I enjoy your videos
Personally, loved the comical beginning, love the water issue explanation, and 100% love the tractor and mechanical side as well. Having said that, I appreciate what you share, and as you feel up to it, sharing it with us. Don't let it(us) turn into a burden, sir.
Don’t be discouraged by the audience. I look forward to every single one of these videos and I’m very excited to see you start on the MD again. Go at your own pace. We’re just along for the journey.
Pete ignore the naysayers. I look forward to every video you do. I am a 71 year old woman who is kind of envious of your can do, will do attitude no matter the job. I never thought I would enjoy watching anyone tear apart a tractor of all things. Just makes me want to drive one just once. Thank you and Hillary for a glimpse into your busy lives.
I can only speak for myself but there are MANY farming channels on RUclips to pick from. I believe people watch the channel because of YOU and YOUR personality and not necessarily for information they can get from most other farming channels (not to say this channel isn't extremely informative because it 100% is). I for one enjoy the tractor videos, and am guessing the gear heads that are being so negative in the comments are not your normal audience or even subscribers. This channel is a chronicle of the farm and your life on it as it were, and most of us are happy to watch all of it. Cheers!
I Agree Nicholas I look forward to watching Pete reminds me of when my Grandfather Farmed back in the 60's and 70's such a calming feeling being back on the farm even if not in real life for a bit can just listen and follow along like I am there, Pete is very knowledgeable , funny and love how he treats his livestock.
@@crawdaddycolts9354 I was going to say the same thing it’s so relaxing watching Pete it just takes me back to when I was young love I pete work on tractors
Pete. I believe most viewers like me love your channel. There are always complainers, but the silent majority of viewers LOVE your content. Keep the faith and thanks for giving us a view of small family farming.
Pete, please ignore the haters and know-it-all’s! You clearly know what you’re doing and the vast majority of us enjoy being brought along for the ride!
When running a business, i had to always remind everyone "Don't let that 1 out of a hundred client ruin your day, remember the other 99 that appreciate what we do". And to become real, you have to say it out loud. Keep up the great videos Pete.
Peter, I’d be happy with some very relaxed videos of you wandering the fields, talking to and patting the animals and just showing how a farmer connects with his animals. A lot of the joy of your videos is the relaxed feel and humanity to bring. Show us more.
Whatever you show Pete, I’ll be along for the ride. By the way I unsubscribed to about half of “my” RUclips channels and kept only those I found myself really looking forward to seeing. You made the cut. Thanks for what you do and as I’ve said before I’m more interested in watching you do than hearing why you do it. You referred to that by saying you feel pressure to action. Don’t feel pressure from me. I’ll be along watching no matter.
Im about to do the same...theres a few I always skip over...I watch Pete as well as Chris over at Farming with Duffy AG. He posts every day always wrenching chopping or seeding...even takes veiwers along on trips to auctions and machinery dealers
It saddens me to hear that sharing your journey to restore a family tractor has dampened the joy you receive from doing the project. I personally find each video, regardless of content, to be a gem and I know I am certainly not alone there. The foulest mouths are the loudest unfortunately. Hope to see more of those videos come winter and will try to praise louder than the haters.
I'm a 57 year old city girl and I've loved all the videos, the tractor fix, the pastures, the brown baby cow...market. Doesn't matter the topic. There is something soothing about this channel and whatever you are doing, I enjoy it :)
You know Pete, you are so personable, I enjoy watching whatever you happen to be doing! (Even the MD project, even though I am not a mechanic) I also enjoyed it when your Dad & son joined you. I thought that was pretty cool! We all watch your channel because we love to see farm life. If that means slowing down, that is just another facet of farm life for your viewers to appreciate. 🙂
Just keep doing you. If you did a 15 minute video of you walking your fence lines in the middle of a blizzard you’d still have me on the edge of my chair. I’d watch you doing a mucking the stalls video at least once a week. I immensely enjoy your personal interactions with nature, your land and your livestock. Don’t change. You’re my calm spot on RUclips.
My wife and I love this channel! If you need a break, take it. Don't worry about the audience, we will still be here when you get back. Nothing wrong with breaking the show up into seasons. Turn comments off if you need to, no worries. NO WORRIES! We will miss the show while your weather the winter, but will be joyful when spring comes back with you.
At our house we look forward to every single post of Just A Few Acres… SOOOO enjoyed your back and forth with Hilary! We laughed at both of you. So silly. Since we were both raised in Iowa, every post is a taste of farm life for us (as we sit in warm and dry and never-go-on-daylight-time Arizona). Please keep being you. We love your chats, your relationships with the critters, the intricacies of your tractor repairs, and your sometimes shocking fence repairs. All of it! God bless you and your family.
You've got to do what makes you happy and brings you joy! Strange as this sounds I love the sound of your voice it's soothing. I like your simple everyday content and the sound of your voice :) :)
Pete! Please don't stop making videos. Our family soaks up every bit of knowledge and wisdom you give us. My 2 year old knows your voice and comes running from another room yelling Pete Pete! Blessings.
Don't let the naysayers get you down. Life is beautiful. Dust off your boots, get you where you want to be. The reason they chant their negativity is because they are jealous of not having what you do. Take a break if you need to - but your fans (like me) find you uplifting, inspiring, and extremely helpful. Stay humble my friend.
I agree completely. With one exception (or "augmentation"): Negativity is usually broadcast by negative people. No matter what they are "observing", a "half full" person (or worse) usually has something to say. And, what they do say is usually not "value added". So, yes, they may be jealous. But there are other reasons, as well. And ALL OF THEIR REASONS need to be ignored. Not easy, you say Pete? Well, there's another job for you. I don't know the financial implications of RUclips posting. I don't want to know. But income streams are often traps. Post what you want and when you want. Your joy is up lifting.
Your water control methods are textbook best management practice. I’m a junior in college studying watershed management and we talk about this all the time because it’s the biggest issue today, especially with the Chesapeake Bay. I wish all farms would do water management as well as you do. Everything you said, from keeping the cows out of the water to leaving that swale to grow up and help stop erosion, was perfect. Well done Pete.
HI Pete, Your channel is the reason why I watch RUclips. Your farm, livestock, antique tractors, and general lifestyle are things I am interested in. For those that are on the treadmill and can't seem to get off of it, you give us a viewing window to our own futures one day. I work in public service and have 6 years left before I can step off. I can't wait to wrench on my own antique tractors and feed my own chickens, and sit in my field and just watch nature do it's thing. I love what you do and look forward to your videos, regardless of how "busy" you are. You've taught me a lot. But don't let us change who you are. Keep being you. Thanks for all you do.
You seem like a good, kind man. There are many channels to watch but I choose yours because you're informative, intelligent and know your stuff. I feel like I'm learning from a trusted uncle who may have just lernt a specific thing but has thought it through and shares his opiniin. Thanks you. I want to be like you when I grow up.
Pete. You seem down about the audiences of your channel. The mechanical winter work needs a greater emphasis on saving money by repairing what you have instead of going into more debt. Keep stressing that debt accumulation can kill an otherwise successful farm business. I am looking forward to you restoring the International truck. Every farm has old equipment that can be given new life and help the farm finances
I think Pete is tired of the negative remarks people make. Not his audience. A lot of the remarks made are downright negative. Pete knows what he’s doing. He is kind enough to share his life and farm with us. I understood exactly what he meant. Apparently you did not. You are part of the problem, not the solution.
Pete, we really look forward to your videos; loved the comic beginning with you and Hilary. Keep up the good work and try and ignore the haters out there :)
A wise old Indian chief, when told the reason for daylight saving time said only a fool could think that you can cut 1 foot off of the blanket from one end and sew it back on the other and have a longer blanket. Love your channel!!! It’s nice to see the rhythm of nature. That intro was priceless and well worth the price of admission 🤪🤪🤪
Haha, I like that. I've heard various reasons for the shift in time, farmer's milking, children going to school - and I don't think I've heard anyone ever say "Oh good, the clocks are going back".
Pete, I’m not mechanically-minded but I loved watching the MD videos. I love seeing people whose skills/talents are different than mine. It helps me appreciate the humanity in all of us.
Being honest in your work and life is what people come here for. Personally, I found this channel because of the MD restoration, and I have stayed. It is your channel, your farm, your family, and your equipment. Do it your way, that’s what most of us are here for, Pete. ❤️
Pete, your videos are greatly appreciated by our family! We hope you continue to show the winter project videos, it is part of farming(i believe I'm quoting you) Don't let the negativity get at ya! have a Great day!
It seems like the RUclips is getting to you. We support you and we watch you for your life. Not for nonsense or drama. I’ll take the realness of your channel 100 times over. You’re an incredible guy and inspiration to many. Don’t ever let negative people take that away from you. I grew up working on a dairy and currently live in a major city so my wife can attend school. Your videos are part of how i stay grounded and feed my countryness.
Pete. It was your IH tractors and workshop content that brought me to your channel in the first place and I really enjoy your knowlage of your tractors. Don't give up on that side of things through the winter! Don't let the haters grind you down. If you want to learn how to deal with the negative comments, look up Lord Muck's channel here in the UK, he just tells them if they don't like it, shove it!
Pete, my wife and I love your channel and ALL the content. It’s one of our favorites and we look forward to watching each new one you present to us. We like how they vary from the daily work and repairs (of both items around the farm to the MD rebuild) all the way to your reflections/discussions. There are a bunch of other farming type channels out there but yours is the only one worth watching. Keep up the great work.
Pete speaking for myself and I'm sure many others, I watch your videos mostly for the education. "Weather" it's farming, marketing, or maintenance I am learning something from all of your videos. Your enthusiasm and knowledge is worth more today than you think. The jokes too.
Hey Pete. I am 15 years old and restoring my own farmall super m. It was my paps and he had it in the weeds so I decided to do something about it. I know a good bit about the farmall engines but if I don’t know something I can always just watch your videos. Keep up the good work.
Pete and Hilary - I have sat and mulled over what you said toward the end of this video. All the comments of negativity.. I am 75 and have been on my property since 1997. There was basically the land, a well and stick framed house with absolutely nothing done on the interior. From the very beginning I never heard a word of encouragement on what I was doing and what my dreams were. I was told to hire people to do the work. I started with 13 acres and now have 30. A lot has been done and a whole lot more to do. It got to the point that all of the negativity really got to me. Then one day someone who understood my feelings and dreams told me “these naysayers are just jealous because I am doing what they want to do and have not done”. And those who do not have the amount of land I have. I have always been one to share knowledge. But people seem to want to tell you what to do more than learn from what you have experienced. Do not change the way you do things because of the naysayers, keep on trucking the way you are doing now. There those of us who realize that you are a wealth of knowledge and wisdom learned from experience. You had the guts and fortitude to go off on to this lifestyle and generous enough to share with us. Okay I will stop here. From the bottom of my heart I thank you so much for sharing it us all that y’all have accomplished. KEEP ON TRUCKIN
I was laughing my ass off, listening to the conversation between you and your wife... it was so witty... love your videos.. they are very calm.. love and respect from India
I "watch" your videos while I'm at work. I can get away with that because because I am a self employed Luthier (build and repair acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments}... I watch or listen to all of your videos regardless of what they are about so I am definitely in the "you do you" crowd. I appreciate you, your family, your farm, your channel and all of your corny dad jokes. #teamPete
As a Letterkenny fan that intro was very well written and hilarious 😂. Can’t say enough how much I love your channel Pete, I am also loving your book. I don’t think I have ever been addicted to a book before now. I very much appreciate your outlook on life and insights. Keep on keeping on, and here’s to continued success living the dream!
Regarding the fluctuations in viewership with the different content- please just keep doing the videos YOU want to do. Like I said before, your videos reflect the ebb and flow of a farm family’s from season to season. If your viewership flows similarly will that be such a bad thing? I would love to see you working on clocks and learning a new song. We enjoy the way you segue from descriptive explanation to philosophical musing and back again- it’s like hanging out with a friend. When it comes to comments just skim them to get a tone and if it’s self righteous and judgmental just skip over it- those comments are made to make the commenter feel better about themselves by tearing you down. Just be thankful those people are not in your life. I have seen all the mechanical videos and I don’t know anything about tractors or cars- I enjoy the zen of the process narrated by an expert. I’m always fascinated by how you know the name and function of every little part- your friendly competency is something everyone needs in their lives. Also, I hope Hillary’s performance in this video is a harbinger of things to come! We would love to see both of your routines and hobbies interspersed- it doesn’t matter if you (Hillary) like to be more quiet - there’s so much space for quiet in our lives that we pack with noise and it’s good to sit with quiet activity. Anyway, forgive my rambling, but just keep showing us what you love and I promise the viewers will follow!
Pete I have like 4 youtubers which I watch every episode, yours is one of those because it's real your editing is sharp and clever along with your downhome style brings us all happiness. Since I grew up on a tractor as I've shared before just the starting and driving puts me right back in the seat! I do miss farm life which for me is 45 years in the past yet your efforts bring it back to life for me. For that I thank you sir.
Pete, why don’t you just do some short videos when there’s not a lot of editing and just give an update on what’s going on. That way it won’t drain so much of your time. But you do what you Gotta do that’s the most important. I really respect you for your honesty and straightforwardness. We need a lot more of that in this world today. Thank you for what you do!
I agree that sometimes short videos are great to keep in touch and give one main topic. Thank you for sharing your day. Thiught it was an Irish channel when I saw Letterkenny🍀
Live YOUR life - and thank you for bringing us along! This is a farming channel and as such involves all aspects of farming, one of which is the real mechanical side. RUclips, aka "viewers" (such as myself) are blessed to have you and your insight into all things farming. From the mundane to the madness, from the flocks to the floods, from rain to Rusty - it's all good. I, for one, look forward to the completion of the MD AND anxiously await your interpretation on the International truck.
Personally, I like the everyday chores videos. I live in an HOA neighborhood without even the opportunity to have a garden, much less chickens, pigs and cattle. Those videos are soothing and uplifting - like Seinfeld episodes - about “nothing”. Mechanicals, not so much. But that’s me. When I was younger and cars were simpler, I used to do some light repairs like water pumps, belts and hoses, or oil changes. I was never any good at it and it was slow torture for me. So I’ll just opt for the everyday stuff. BTW - the info about the swale was interesting and provided insight into an issue I had no clue about. Thank you.
Pete, I sure hope you continue to film your restoration of the MD... I absolutely LOVED it this past winter... Reminded me of my dad... I can't image the filming something I love to do and have dumb people comment on it with stupid opinions... Please ignore them and continue filming the MD restoration. I am truly inspired by your farm, your life, your humility and your story. This my sound silly but as a 40 year old man, on my bucket list officially is to meet you perhaps at the farmers market, but to tour your farm. I know you don't want that, and i'm not asking, but you are inspiring a generation... I promise you are! My family is forever changed as a result of watching your videos.
Pete, keep on doing it the way you've done it before, we luv the change ups, like when you're sitting with the cattle and just enjoying your time. Don't let the neg. peps rule, if they don't like your format they don't have watch. Just know there are lots of viewers that enjoy your vids, you have the courage to put yourself on the tube infront of the public. I find your vids very informative and entertaining, please just keep it going - thank you!
Loved the beginning. It reminded me of a Canadian show called letterkenny. Made me actually laugh out loud. You do you Pete! I know I watch to see the farm life in whatever facet that takes. Repair, chores, wisdom. It’s your channel.
Laughing out loud til it hurt. So funny. My wife and I enjoy your videos as they are. There is always an ebb and flow to life and we understand..... Time off is much deserved and required.
Hey Pete, I feel like I have learned so much from your tractor videos, really love em. Don't let "US" get you down. Your videos help me get away from the rush of city life. I like the pace of the videos, it's not "magic," not fully restored in 30 mins. I like that. -just my thoughts.
Our household THOROUGHLY ENJOYS THESE VIDEOS!!!!!! PRETTY PLEASE KEEP MAKING THEM..... Hillary & you TOGETHER are sooooooo VERY entertaining, informative & hilarious, .... your interactions with the animals is the VERY BEST!!! Your JOKE TELLING gives us true belly-laughs!!! Your explanations of your operating farm makes us feel like we're right there..... we're farmers readying ourselves to retire.....just want to enjoy it all now!! We also add, DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE SAY NEGATIVE!!! WE LOVE WATCHING AND WE ALONG WITH YOUR FANS COUNT!!! You & Hillary JUST BEING YOURSELVES IS SOOOOOO WORTH WATCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pete, for me I would really appreciate seeing the more natural flow of the farm. We moved onto a 7 acres homestead a year ago and I struggled last winter understanding why all the youtubers seemed to have more projects/work in the winter than I had (or wanted to do). I still work a 9 to 5 (from home) and it felt like the cows, chickens, sheep, and homestead workflow in the winter wasn't that bad, but watching all the youtubers I always felt like I wasn't doing enough. I finally realized they were doing extra projects for thier viewership and gave myself permission to not be as busy as they seemed. Give yourself permission to show the reality. While I am not very mechanically inclined and would have not sought out a tractor rebuild video I watched all your MD videos. It was more like being at a friends house chatting in the garage while they tinkered away on a project. I get that may lose some views for those videos, but I really enjoyed them and watching you and hearing you explain what you were doing actually gave me more confidence to do more with my equipment. You be you, I am here for whatever you and your family decide to share with us wether its farm chores, cooking, chats with the cows/chicken, or a sit down chat by the fire.
Pete, just keep doing what you’re doing. I’ve been watching for a while now and love all your videos, regardless of content. People watch to be a part of your every day life, no matter what that entails. There are lots of keyboard warriors out there. Please I gnore them. You and Hilary inspire others. Keep doing it.
Frankly I love watching whatever you decide to do. Life most certainly has its seasons and I don’t think you should stress overly about the videos. Because there are quite a few of us who will always tune in. Wishing you the best from the Catskills ❤️
I love the tractor rebuild videos most of all, it is a shame the commenters can't behave, I am sure most of them think they are being helpful. Thanks for all you share - we are just happy to come along for the ride, no matter what you feel like recording.
I enjoy all the videos. I’m fairly new here but being female and watching you rebuild tractors says something about how you do your videos. I really enjoy you and your wife. You’re channel is growing so fast you’re doing a whole lot of something right! 👍💞
I personally loved the MD videos and was really looking forward to the back half of the tractor this winter. I would love to see it if you decide to show it!
Working on equipment is a daily necessity on a farm or ranch. None of us in agriculture are experts in everything. Society has a way of knocking down individuals who do things differently. What works for one doesn’t work for another. Growing up on a mixed cow/calf wheat farm I remember chores and methods that the neighbors would never do. The wisdom passed down from my grandfather still remains with me today. Hold true to makes you go. At the end of the day, the only person that has to be satisfied is you. I watch your channel because It inspires me to return to my roots. Thank you for bringing a light of small farms and ranches across the USA.
I can’t speak for anyone else but for me, I enjoy whatever you chose to put out there. It is a visit for me, a chance to see a farm again and feel a little part of it. I am retired but worked in a unique environment. I was a public safety dispatcher answering 911 calls and sending help in the form of Fire, ambulance or Police. There were periods of fast pace events where every second counted or long stretches of nothingness which was usually 3 am to 6 am. So the change that has on your mentality is profound but ultimately what I notice now is that I have a very short attention span. I want to see something different all the time. So I love anything you do with the tractors and Farmall is my favorite but after a few minutes I’m ready for a change. Lol. That’s why I like the way you have multiple things going on. So in short, it’s not only exciting content but also mundane content that I enjoy. It’s the variety that makes it real and interesting. At least for me. Thanks for the views
Trying to please everybody is a losing game. Your content is the best, Pete. If some people don't appreciate the channel as a way to experience the rhythm of a life that's in deep connection with the land, I'm sorry for them. Many of us do.
As being from an old small farm also I know the way of yearly routine and getting into the shop in the winter to repair machinery. I loved watching last year with the MD (very interesting) and how you do your work, organized, clean and taking your time. I live in Costa Rica now on any given day these days we can get 5" of rain in an hour, so far since April we've gotten 2 meters. Have a good day yourself.
Pete, you and the channel are a blessing! Don't let the folks that don't understand the beauty of the lifestyle, your family and your profession detract from your purpose. You are an awesome example of a Farmer, a stockman and a tenant of the environment. Keep in keeping on. PS. Loved the Letterkenny thing!
I love the farm, mechanical, and sometimes life advice videos. I hear you on the critical part. Mechanical people tend to be very black and white and the internet only seems to inflate that sentiment. I will still watch regardless if you decide to not post those types of videos, and I am sure your other subs feel the same.
I hear what you're saying... You need a safe place... where you can enjoy your hobby without facing other people's thoughts and criticism. You are not obligated to share every part of your life with the world! Follow your heart. Let peace be your guide.
Boy Pete, it’s your channel to do with as you enjoy but I was really looking forward to the other half of the MD restoration. I really enjoy all your videos and think you do a great job balancing everything you have. You and Hillary really inspire me on days I’m tired and don’t want to go out for chores. I hope you two have a great day!
As a Canadian love the letter Kenny reference. Ya know, I’m close to where the creator of Lenny Kenny grew up. Enjoying your channel. Gleaning business and life inspiration from you, not for farming, but for my woodworking business in my later years (will be 60 in may). I think it doesn’t matter if your cutting a furrow or cutting a dado, there are a lot similar connections.
Learning is never easy. I had no idea of what you were talking about when you explain your mechanical restorations and parts. However, you did provide an inspiration for me to research the difference of today's equipment verses the restoration of vintage. Keep inspiring, not everyone will see what you have to offer. The "Likes" are not always the measure of your purpose. Thank you and your family for showing the world what you know.
PETE KEEP DOING THE TRACTOR VIDS THE SAME!!! We LOVE them just the way they are!! To hell with the criticism man don't even give it a second thought we run a small machine shop/engine shop and love to sit and watch your content (ALL of it) in down time relax time. Stay blessed and stay well my friend, stay frosty.🤙🇺🇸🇷🇺🙏
I love the tractor restoration videos but I also love the sitting in the field with the cows videos. Maybe it's just envy. I've been working on my Case 300B this year because you inspired me with the MD. If only I had 20 acers instead of 2.
Well I always learn something. You have opened my eyes to the farmalls and lit an interest to get more into them. The guys that comment that you are doing wrong will always be there. Us guys that learn from you are quiet but have no doubt we are here. I appreciate your videos. Thank you. Keep it alive. We desperately need farms for a lot of reasons.
As far as the commenters goes, I think a lot of the viewers are just trying to tell you thier way of doing a job. Some are on the negative side, but I believe most are genuine. I would have a difficult time with the comments in your position. I started watching during the MD rebuild and really enjoy your content. 👍👍✌️
No please do not stop showing us the MD videos. That's the ones that brought me in and I loved every second of it and looked forward to each new video. I will watch any video that you have regardless of what it's about. Do not worry about other people. You do what you love and the people that want to support you such as myself, we will
I loved the MD video as well as all your other equipment related videos. I am a farm boy who has worked for major companies in the equipment industry all my life and you know what you are doing when it comes to equipment. I hope you keep doing it.
I know some people on social media can be quite rude but I really find videos like yours very helpful. It helps to know that other people go through some of the same challenges day in and day out, whether it’s cows and pigs or horses and chickens. I enjoy watching instructional videos on different repairs to learn how to do things. So please continue to do them. it does help those of us that aren’t the negative Nelly‘s. 😉
I have no words- I love this channel SOOOOO MUUUUCH-uh!!!! Letterkenny is such a great show and to find people my age or slightly older who know that show is, well, just a delight! I will be thinking of you guys tomorrow when I’m butchering the broilers. Thanks for everything you do.
I love the MD restore project and yes I know there are many that think their opinion is the only correct one and they can be quite annoying. I also have left the corporate world and have moved back to rural Iowa where I grew up and am now listening to the rhythm of the world around me. I live in the heart of beef and hog production although it is all grain fed my little hobby is going to be producing meat rabbits and pastured chicken and eggs nothing special but something that will allow me to relax and give me a little spending money. I really appreciate all the videos that you make because I learned you can make it on the small farm and to follow your own dreams no matter what other may think. I see so many people that try to play it safe and try to avoid all risk and I used to be that way but I guess it goes back to one of my favorite sayings, " why do people tiptoe through life just so they can arrive at death safely". so for now we can all hibernate and do our winter projects and we will see what next spring brings us. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
Thank you very much pete for sharing a part of your families day on the farm. I understand the critics, but don't feel burdened to prove anything. Every video is fun and enjoyable. I know it's not a class and I hope others don't take it as an exact way of being. Keep shining!
Great discussion on watershed management, wish all land owners and land industries did have as well as you do with your storm water management. I love cutting wood so I would look forward to watching you all getting that chore done, nothing like in the woods on a winter day. Keep up the great videos, having grown up around farms I know the mundane can still be plenty exciting, or get that way quick...
You do you Pete! If you never made another video ever again, I would consider myself enriched by what you have taught me, reminded me of and shared with me to this point. NEVER let the number of views determine in your mind wether your content was successful or worthy. Your true viewership would watch you lay quietly in a pasture saying nothing for 20 minutes. We are your people!😁
Pete just keep it real and natural. Tips help all of us farmers and not one of us has all the answers. Always do that which brings you the most joy.
Well said. I totally agree.
You guys are 👌 great. Loved your conversation while drinking your coffee. 😂 Lol!!
I couldn't have said it better!!!! Take care of you and yours!!!!! Life is too short!! Thank you for bringing us along!! Stay safe!!!
I truly hate daylight savings time, too. I never could see the value of the disruption we face twice a year. It’s a cinch our animals don’t switch!
Yuuuup 100% agree with you.
The reason why I like your videos is your personality and they way you look at life. Thanks for the invite into your family’s life.
Amen!
@8
@@crawdaddycolts9354 I was going to say the same thing it’s so relaxing watching Pete it just takes me back to when I was young love I pete work on tractors
I totally agree
Pete I said this before…, Your true fans/followers will enjoy and be thankful whatever kind of video you post! Stay safe and warm. Y’all take care
I did the same. Just kept the channels that I love!
Totally agree with this Pete... please keep doing what you're doing
I did the same.
Same with me!!!! I like watching Pete and his nice family.
I just enjoy listening to you, Pete. You could talk about paint drying, and I'd sit here listening.😀 Thanks for your videos.
"You’re my calm spot on RUclips." Well said.
I for one loved the MD videos, and look forward to more.
Real entertainer!
I love the mechanical videos pete. Its inspiring. I didnt realize tractors were so interesting until these videos. Thank you
You've got to do what makes you happy and brings you joy! Strange as this sounds I love the sound of your voice it's soothing. I like your simple everyday content and the sound of your voice :) :)
@Scuba Steve haha yes I agree!
Weird. I do too. I think a big part of me would be devastated if he quit RUclips.
Well said!
Oh my the beginning was so funny! I showed it to my wife and she was rolling too.
Pete, we the loyal viewers enjoy the tractor restoration, it's a great Winter project! Afterall, hobbies are work as well
Your water control methods are textbook best management practice.
HI Pete,
Your channel is the reason why I watch RUclips.
Love Hillary’s sense of humor! She can say a line and still keep a straight face. 😂 watched the intro 5x. Too funny
You could always make a second channel for restorations? I was really hoping to see that old truck you showed awhile back brought back to life!
Pete just keep on keepin on and do it your way. I can see the joy in what you do and that gives me joy and inspiration
Please keep doing the tractors work and posting it. I love it.
Yes it's your life and its ok pete
Don’t let others determine your happiness (easier said than done). I totally appreciate whatever you film!!
I think Pete is tired of the negative remarks people make. Not his audience. A lot of the remarks made are downright negative. Pete knows what he’s doing. He is kind enough to share his life and farm with us. I understood exactly what he meant. Apparently you did not. You are part of the problem, not the solution.
I'm also looking forward to the mechanical winter work!
My brother runs our family farm and he has used youtube videos to help him get some of our old equipment up and running.
Love the show letterkenny. That intro is hilarious
More like Jay Leno!😂
Just remember you can’t please everyone. You do a terrific job and I enjoy your channel. Keep up the great job you do. 👏
I about fell out of the chair with that intro! The outro was crushing though, I really enjoyed the mechanical videos; I hope they make a return.
Me too! I hope Pete can start skipping over the jerky comments and just focus on shooting content that makes him happy
What book??????? Asking for a friend.
@@Flippin_Crazy it’s called A Year and a Day on Just a Few Acres.
I Loved the opening, Very funny 😆
Thanks Pete !!! Love your videos , my new favorite channel.
P.s . I try to watch the commercials , doing my part to support the channel
Beginning was hilarious Pete! Keep up the great work. Would like to see your rebuilds. Keep it real!
Spot on
Pete, just keep doing what you’re doing.
Pete, be yourself. That's what makes you happy. It makes your viewers like myself happy when you are in harmony. Keep your chin up Pete.
I THINK WHAT YOU & YOUR FAMILY HAVE PUT TOGETHER OVER THE YEARS IS THE BEST THING.THANK YOU GOD FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU. MINNESOTA LOVES YOU.
Awesome intro. I enjoy the mechanical videos. You have to have diversity on your channel.
I enjoy 99.9 % of your videos, don't change anything, I enjoy watching farm life and being a retired mechanic I really enjoy the tractor rebuild.
Regarding MD videos, for everyone who criticized your mechanical techniques, I imagine their are dozens who learned a great deal from you.
Pete, it's your channel...what ever you present, we the viewers know you present it with honest and trustworthy intentions, love your ethics 😄
Yes, Pete, I’m ready to watch you cut wood!
