So glad to see it painted RED!!!! In tall grass a person walking along all sudden runs into a green metal thing that leaves a significant bruise and spoils their day or week. RED might again save the DAY!!!!
I’m a addict to Just a few acres RUclips channel. Each new episode is my fix. Thank you Pete and Hilary for sharing your lives with us, it’s totally fantastic 💙❤️.
Pete, I got a joke for ya. There was these two farmers talking about cattle prices. The one farmer says "I can remember when in 1973 I took ten steers to market and sold them and then I went to town and bought a brand new 1973 pickup truck with the money from the steers. The other farmer responds "I can still sell ten steers and buy a 1973 truck with the proceeds from selling the steers.". LOL. Hope you got a chuckle out of that one, Pete! I always did!
Faith I don't want you to misunderstand this I love your program for two reasons number one it brings back a whole lot of memories and number two it's a very relaxing program and it makes me feel real good inside
Hooray for Carrie! Nice to see a new little heifer added to the herd. LOL Poor little piglets, get to do the cowboy walk for a couple of days... then say, Uh-oh! Here he comes! Run-run-run!!! The new hay wagon is lookin' pretty spiffy there. Everything new... even the air in the tires.
You And Hilary are Adorable !! Love Your Animals !! I am a Vegatarian but without you looking after these animals they would not be here !! They all live a very good life !!! Thank you !!!
I knew you would pick red. :) As always, thoroughly enjoyed your video today... great news on the flies, the new calf, and how fast you can get those piglets castrated! I can tell you hate causing them pain, but they are in the best of hands, the best of care, yours and Hilary's. You are both so good to them all. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings. Thank you and Hilary both for the way you share your lives with us. It teaches and encourages just as much as it entertains and moves the soul; makes us smile and allows us to touch a deep, natural instinct inside each and every one of us, that sense of peace and contentment that comes from living life in the simple, fulfilling way that it was mean to be lived.
my uncle had a baby piglet pass out one time. He asked my dad (fireman)... "what should i do?" Dad told him "well if it was a person you would elevate the feet and keep them warm". So he did that and in a minute the piglet came to and ran up to his mama and voiced his opinion to the whole ordeal and then everything was normal. Too Funny.
Hi Pete, i enjoy watching your videos which are very informative. I live in the city of Singapore and I envy your life in the farm. How I wish I could live near you so I could buy meat and eggs from you. I emjoyed your jokes too. I love your work attitude and truly impressed at how you and Hilary work so well together. I love and respect Hilary who is quietly supporting you and working hard alongside with you. May the Lord bless you and your family.
Pete one look at the tongue on the wagon scream’s John Deere. 1065 to be exact, that wagon will never weave. No other manufacturer could do that from that time period. I like the way you say hi to all the critters, they know you care. Keep on farming
Great video! And of course, I love the little piglets and cattle, and chickens. It warms my heart to see you go check on the cattle....and, wallah! A new calf. Cute little female. Red was the perfect color for your wagon....I chuckled when you had the picture black and white.................You are a tease. The boxes of beef products had me lapping my chops. Yummy! So nice to see Hillary out there, working with you,.. YOu are a great team. Take care, and God Bless. Bev in Maine.
I just love you guys, love all your videos, I find your videos are Comfort videos, I find myself smiling from the beginning to the end, thank you so much for all your hard work Hillary and Pete...👍😁
Yep pee !!!! I'm glad you painted the hay wagon red!!!! That was my choice . Loved the new born calf. And again I say love your videos. See you next time !!!❤️❤️👍👍
Great videos here Pete! I don’t think cleaning Big Reds hog pen is in your wife’s contract! Lol You’re catching lots of pesky flies in those jars! Yes they stink but I’m my opinion they work!
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY while "living the American dream" there at your lovely farm, Pete!!! Your channel is my absolute FAVORITE!! My former farmer boy heart looks forward to each and every video you share!! ;o) Much Aloha from Hawaii!!
Ya know what might be interesting after you move the piglets into the brush pen? Take a picture every couple of days and GIF-ify it so we can see how it goes from overgrown to bare. I know you'll be busy with doing actual farm things, but it's something I thought of the last time you put piggers outside like that. 😁
Pete, I've been around farming enough of my life to know that there are so many uncertainties. But even knowing that, it's still the only place to be. I've never done anything that gave me as much peace of mind. Sure, your often tired at the end of the day, but it's a different tired, ya know. I wish you and Hillary well. God bless you.
Nice tour. Flies in a bottle, gonads in the trash, baby calf just born, fields and pasture lectures, the steady wife, the painted hay trailer.....just all on a few acres of land. Love it. Very educational.
Pete!!! I cannot be the only viewer who was disappointed when you arrived in Oz...... and we all saw RED!!!?? Isn't there anyone out there, besides me, who was hoping for GREEN.......anyone.....anyone?? Come on......273K viewers and I'm the only one??? (I guess I'll just go back to the end of the line.......) Keep up the "Good work"! Rich from PA. Happy 4th everyone !!!!!!!!
Great video Pete and Hilary. Just shows the variety of chores being done on the farm; nothing out of the ordinary but still required. Your video also shows the first thing that should be planted on a farm is a good stand of "red or black caps" to munch on. enjoy your weekend.
Hey Pete I just got hired at my local John Deere dealership, if you want to trade in those red machines for a superior tractor I’ll give you the family discount 😂 😂😂. The day Pete goes green is the day pigs fly
Love the hay trailer, great color. Nice video around the farm, your beef delivery looks great. I miss butcher boxes and all the goodies like tongue, brain and heart, we always made something good out of those and it was like a treat. Wish the butchers could still package sweetbreads, I miss them the most. You and Hill have a good day.
Very interesting Pete. It looks like he glue fly traps are working. You and your wife are such a team. I hope to one day get to the farmer's market to meet you or your wife and buy some of your product. The bouncer joke made me lol.
As always Pete, I find your video to be informative and stress reducing in these rough times. My only comment would be that you cantinue faming, and don't plan on making a living telling jokes... LOL Jim Robinson
You guys are the salt of the earth. You are amazing people, inspiring, honest, insightful, hardworking, dedicated, intelligent and fun. Thank you both for doing what you do. You have made us feel a whole better by allowing us the opportunity to experience your endeavors, life, perspectives and experiences. You are a joy to watch for many reasons but mostly because of who you are, great people.
I've cut barrows on a larger scale. Never pleasant, but necessary. No conciliation, but the upper Midwest is struggling with a second dry year. Thanks Pete.
Pete, you had the right paint scheme on the wagon and it sure looks good, Dad did a beautiful job. Hope the market sales go well, with the new meat and have a HAPPY 4th!
Pete, my husband and I love to watch you and Hilary at work. Thanks:)

I enjoy spending my time watching you an your beautiful wife an all your farm animals

Doesn’t matter what you paint it, John Deere still brings home your hay bales. I’m reminded of a saying that goes like this, “Paint don’t pull.”
Laughed out loud at the “Bouncer”. The pig chaos felt like the genesis of Square Dancing.
Keep the jokes coming, I write them down every time for my kids ✝️🙏🏼💙🚜🐂🌾
You And Hilary are Adorable !! Love Your Animals !! I am a Vegatarian but without you looking after these animals they would not be here !! They all live a very good life !!! Thank you !!!
Absolutely 💯 Beautiful
“15000 lbs of ground beef in there”
“Holy cow!” I love it Pete 😂
I nominate you and your wife as Mr. & Mrs. Americana! Have a great 4th.
Your insight is hopefully not falling on deaf ears of "young" farmers. Always a pleasure...

Glad to see one of my alma maters, BYU, made it for this episode. Proper color was indeed used on the bale wagon. Happy Fourth!
Yeah I noticed that too I played football for them 20 some years ago. Great videos.
keep doing the jokes I think they are great . Best part of the week is seeing your adventures on the farm.
Your hay trailer looks like a New Holland with those yellow wheels. I like it! Great video Pete, enjoy your weekend.
Congrats on the freshly painted hay wagon Pete!
Paint selection goes well with the Gehl baler and New Holland rake colors!

It was great seeing your bulls… we haven’t really seen them in a while. Thanks for the video.
well you owe me a coffee..i spit out when you showed the new cart color in black and white..OMG that was funny
The bale wagon looks great, i like the arms at the front and back to keep the bales from rolling off. I laughed at the bouncer joke. thanks for that.
Love your jokes. They always put a smile on my face. You and your family are good examples of how people should be.
That joke made my smile in spite of myself.

I thought your were weaning the piggo! Poor momma must be counting the days lol!!
Your Dad did a great job on that hay wagon, hope you and your family have a great 4th.

Wish the piglets would stay the size you have now. So cute.
Finally the truth: "jokes so bad ...they're bad!" LOL Love you, Pete!
Nice tour. Flies in a bottle, gonads in the trash, baby calf just born, fields and pasture lectures, the steady wife, the painted hay trailer.....just all on a few acres of land. Love it. Very educational.

A very gentle and pleasant presentation on working in the farm. Enjoyed watching your video. Thank you very much. Have a good day!
Watching from Africa. Pete you are my hero. Thank you for interesting content.
Pete the red looks great on the wagon. The John Deere yellow wheels just make it look like a new holland wagon. 👍
1:45 in, ‘holy cow’ … bit of an understatement Pete !
I am glad you chose red for your wagon. Your piglets look so cute. Your farm looks really good. Another great video Pete.
Pete!!!
I cannot be the only viewer who was disappointed when you arrived in Oz...... and we all saw RED!!!??
Isn't there anyone out there, besides me, who was hoping for GREEN.......anyone.....anyone??
Come on......273K viewers and I'm the only one???
(I guess I'll just go back to the end of the line.......)
Keep up the "Good work"!
Rich from PA.
Happy 4th everyone !!!!!!!!
Pete, why are John Deere tractors painted green? So they can hide in the grass while the red tractors do the hard work!
Love this joke!!😂😂
Great video Pete and Hilary. Just shows the variety of chores being done on the farm; nothing out of the ordinary but still required. Your video also shows the first thing that should be planted on a farm is a good stand of "red or black caps" to munch on. enjoy your weekend.
The hay wagon looks great.
"inferior john deer yellow paint.. " haha.. loved that
Hey Pete I just got hired at my local John Deere dealership, if you want to trade in those red machines for a superior tractor I’ll give you the family discount 😂 😂😂. The day Pete goes green is the day pigs fly
Hello Pete. I dont know why but I'm one that laughs at your jokes. Lol Probally because they sound like my late husbands jokes so keep it up.
All I can say about being stuck telling jokes for a living is: That’s tougher than Woodpecker lips! I enjoy the jokes
Your bale wagon has a nice Ferguson grey color. Looks very nice
Love the hay trailer, great color. Nice video around the farm, your beef delivery looks great. I miss butcher boxes and all the goodies like tongue, brain and heart, we always made something good out of those and it was like a treat. Glad to see the new calf
Pete - Minneapolis Moline gold with red wheels the perfect choice for the hay wagon!!! Maybe next time.
Great video today. Love the diversity of everything. Always lots going on, I’m sure.
You could narrate a kids show and be great at it. You have just the right voice for it.
I liked that joke… thanks for a great video.. A farmer is a person of many talents:)!
Hey! I liked that joke.
And I'm sure it's just pure coincidence that the hay wagon looks like a Little Tykes car. 🤔
Bet that beef sells out in no time Saturday. Love that wagon color, Can't beat a whiter shade of grey. 😉 Red and yellow.... Massey Harris??
Wagon looks sharp.
That is one good looking wagon Pete!
Yayyy red! With those yellow rims it almost looks like a Massey Harris LOL
Grayscaling the video of the hay bale wagon made me literally laugh out loud!
Beef: it's what's for dinner! Great job you and your Dad did on the new hay trailer!
Wagon looks fantastic! From a Deere guy! Very good video! Thanks for taking the time to video!
Hay wagon looks great!

Great nail wagon!
As always Pete, I find your video to be informative and stress reducing in these rough times. My only comment would be that you cantinue faming, and don't plan on making a living telling jokes... LOL Jim Robinson
I agree! Actually I laugh at his jokes even when they are terrible.
You guys are the salt of the earth. You are amazing people, inspiring, honest, insightful, hardworking, dedicated, intelligent and fun. Thank you both for doing what you do. Red wagon with yellow wheels. You can tell the John Deere folks it a New Holland. I hope y'all have a very happy 4th of July!
Pete - loved your joke - not a bouncer - I laughed out loud.
Black & white and RED all over! We never doubted that one, Ha!
Hello Peter & Hillary. Piglets look good and welcome the new baby cow!! Be well.
The wagon looks awesome!
