Yeah i'm going to call bullshit on that. In Resolution, the drumming was one of the stars of the show; it was smashing your face in constantly. Brutal, precise, godly. In everything since Chris left, it's pretty unremarkable and you never think 'wow that drumming is incredible' at all, like you would do after pretty much every verse when Chris was around. New guy is fine, but Gene Hoglan and Chris Adler are 2 of the best drummers in the industry, and you can't really get around that.
That Lead Riff kicking in at *2:12* 🙌🏻 This section was 1 of the reasons this Song should've been included on the *Standard Album Version* alongwith *Hyperthermic/Accelerate* .... These 2 could have been substitutes for *Checkmate* & *Gears* & this Album would nearly have no Filler
Chris left too late, but he's by far the most respectable dude of the original log. This bands a weak ghost of its former self, I still pull my Peter to nag and atpb
When Chris left I was very doubtful they would find a drummer that could fill his shoes, but I am so glad they did. Chris Adler is still my favorite drummer of all time though.
Calming things down, getting mellow... and then BAM! It's something LOG does all the time, and they're frickin' awesome at it! Get along to see them live if you get the chance... they're absolutely sensational!
Lamb of God is just not the same without him. It's like Slipknot just sounds dogshit to me without Joey, because he made the drums a primary instrument like lead guitar, instead of just backing noise. Same as Ray Luzier just isn't the same as old KoRn. Same as Slayer is shit without Dave.

Ashes of the Wake, Sacrament, and Wrath (for me) took it to the next level.. it wasn't just some heavy shit that sounded good and made good workout music.. it was adrenaline pumping, heart pounding, excitement ... it could induce hate with no lyrics sung ready to take on anything. I don't know if it is cliché, but HIS double bass techniques.. WOW. Considering that each instrument as well as Randy's vocals left you with that feeling made those 3 albums knock your fuckin socks off amazing.

I took him to his first show for an earIy 14th birthday present and he later told me it was the best present ever. We saw Breaking Ben, Three Days Grace with Adam and Seether. Excellent show. Now we go see Lamb Of God, Disturbed, Slayer, whoever good comes within driving distance. LoG absolutely sounds amazing Iive. Do it, you wont regret it 🤘

Yeah, so glad that's not me. I am blessed to be in the 16% of people that do listen to it. It took a bit for me to get into it because before Metal, I just listened to the top singles of Rap artists, and pop artists (ashamed to admit that). Blizzard of Ozz was my first stepping stone into Metal. Honestly can't imagine a reality where I didn't discover Heavy Metal.

you need to listen harder, its pretty clear Chris isn't drumming anymore. from tonality, pressure, style and general drumming ability.
Yeah i'm going to call bullshit on that. In Resolution, the drumming was one of the stars of the show; it was smashing your face in constantly. Brutal, precise, godly. In everything since Chris left, it's pretty unremarkable and you never think 'wow that drumming is incredible' at all, like you would do after pretty much every verse when Chris was around. New guy is fine, but Gene Hoglan and Chris Adler are 2 of the best drummers in the industry, and you can't really get around that.

I remember seeing him with Prong, he was great with that, but quite the step up here.
Chris left too late, but he's by far the most respectable dude of the original log. This bands a weak ghost of its former self, I still pull my Peter to nag and atpb
When Chris left I was very doubtful they would find a drummer that could fill his shoes, but I am so glad they did. Chris Adler is still my favorite drummer of all time though.

Lamb of God is just not the same without him. It's like Slipknot just sounds dogshit to me without Joey, because he made the drums a primary instrument like lead guitar, instead of just backing noise. Same as Ray Luzier just isn't the same as old KoRn. Same as Slayer is shit without Dave.

Ashes of the Wake, Sacrament, and Wrath (for me) took it to the next level.. it wasn't just some heavy shit that sounded good and made good workout music.. it was adrenaline pumping, heart pounding, excitement ... it could induce hate with no lyrics sung ready to take on anything. I don't know if it is cliché, but HIS double bass techniques.. WOW. Considering that each instrument as well as Randy's vocals left you with that feeling made those 3 albums knock your fuckin socks off amazing.

I took him to his first show for an earIy 14th birthday present and he later told me it was the best present ever. We saw Breaking Ben, Three Days Grace with Adam and Seether. Excellent show. Now we go see Lamb Of God, Disturbed, Slayer, whoever good comes within driving distance. LoG absolutely sounds amazing Iive. Do it, you wont regret it 🤘

Yeah, so glad that's not me. I am blessed to be in the 16% of people that do listen to it. It took a bit for me to get into it because before Metal, I just listened to the top singles of Rap artists, and pop artists (ashamed to admit that). Blizzard of Ozz was my first stepping stone into Metal.

Facts dude. I'm in the same boat as you. Lamb Of God is and always has been one of the best metal bands to ever do it. I always ranked Pantera at number one but LOG is right there with them. One of the most consistent bands that I can remember
