Oh wow this is really hard. I've only watched scripted stand up comedies but this actually requires the comedian to be quick on their feet, funny, and sociable.
This one actually interacts with people... And this is the sole difinition of a "stand-up" comedian, no script what so ever.
it called riffing material. some stand up comedian has already prepare this kind of material for the stage. some of stand up comedian in my country are really expert in this riffing material.

@@joeylee6094 How the f did you reach that conclusion? He just phrase it that way as a comeback joke to the speakers because the speaker has roasted all the audience and they want to roast him back too (in a jokingly manner).
@@joeylee6094 do you know many people who work in the Singapore civil service? Most people who work there just usually describe ourselves as civil servants to strangers - regardless of where in the civil service they work. Or in this case, as “working for the government.” It doesn’t mean anything other than trying not to draw unnecessary attention to their jobs.
Yup, civil servant here! I always just say i work for the government to foreigners (or that I’m a civil servant to locals) cos i dont like disclosing details about my job (like its my business, not anyone else’s, what i do for a living). Plus being in the civil service means we *are* bound by codes of conduct etc which kinda affects the way we can conduct ourselves in public spaces.

The bilingual comedy is really excellent. Few people can pull that off. Initially I did think your Uncle Roger character was real but now I appreciate it more knowing that you have to act it out.
We Malaysians and our Singaporean kin do this in every day conversation so it’s nothing really. You’ll see it a lot of you visit both countries.
In Malaysia, ordering food in 4 languages in a sentence is common!

I came for Uncle Roger but I will definitely be staying for your comedy career. Its been a while since a special made me have a belly laugh like this did. What a brilliant set. Unless you’re invested in comedy you don’t realise just how much hard work goes into even the smallest of stand up sets, great crowd work!

I can totally relate to the humidity joke! Haha! I used to do Uber and picked up 2 Aussie guys. I told them 'hows the heat here treating you?' And they answered 'its not the heat but the humidity'. We laughed but I did thought to myself 'I never thought about humidity here'.
Fucking hell! someone should have told me! this is unfair!. I've been in Malaysia as a foreign student for 4 years and never once did I stop bitching about the humidity. Someone should have said something god damn it....
Me Singaporean living in Melbourne for past 15 years also started to talk about the humidity every time I go back now 😅 !!!
