Ed, Wyn, and Jack are single handedly keeping the MTB fire burning. I wish one of the suits would recognize what an asset they are and capitalize on it.
Ed is confirmed Real Bad Man
Reeeeeeeeeeeaaaaal Bad Man
How many other people came here to write real like that⬆️
Santiago de Chile mentioned almost at the end. Guys, we would receive the world championships with open arms here. We have the long, beautiful buy gnarly Andes mountain chain that is a paradise for DH, Enduro and XC. So dont think twice if you want to come! 🤘🔥
I like this Edward Masters on the more serious side, he got some good perspectives to share. 🤔
Glad you enjoyed watching
Great Pod! Enduro is what most of us fans are riding; that’s the truth. We all do a bit of full gnar DH, but not much; not the real thing we see at the UCI or RBH/RBHA. What we call DH is easy to find in Pro Enduro racing. Just look at the Nationals the other day in the U.K. My point? Well, I just love the DH series, but please, please find a way of televising the Enduro - the iPhone idea with a local network (WiFi or temporary cellular) on the hill is affordable, feasible and would make fantastic telly 🎉
Let's hope they find ways to keep improving it, as the racing is great
Another great interview Chris. Good to see Ed in a more serious setting, the man talked a lot of sense. 👍
Thanks Clive, glad you enjoyed it.
Chile is a good place where they can make a DH race, I would like to see another countries with world cup races (Y)
@eddie - I have the same injury. Fragmented pinky from all the way back in 2005.. Hope you have more luck with getting full mobility than me. It’s still a claw now - but enough to wrap a handlebar so it’s not all bad.
Loved the chat guys. Looking forward to the next one!
Glad you enjoyed it Greg
Always great content with both the Masters lads. Amazing assets for mtb racing. Theyve done soo much. Jack too
Couldn't agree more!
Ed is a incredible guy so chill and seem to really just want the best for every person he's involved with . Proper fun guy to be around . Edbull media with moimoi TV is so good
Totally agree
Any chance you're able to get Ryan Gilchrist on? Would like to hear all about the E-EDR and his XC race on his enduro. Guy is a beast!
I can certainly try.
Legend guy
I feel like there is opportunity for the likes of moimoi to livestream stages on tough sections while providing commentary. There are so many apps out there which allow for multi streams / channels with commentary overlays. No idea of what mobile bandwidth consumption would equate to, and probably additional equipment would be required to capture a couple of stages live. I hope that maybe sponsorship attached to the stream and RUclips views would pay for the service.
Very good interveiw.
Thanks Bob!
Chur Ed ⛳
For the record, I like semis on Saturday
I'd agree, it's definitely better than last year
Maydena really put on an unreal day for Hardline, Feb falls inside the sweet spot of the seasons, but keeping in mind the 35 to -5 degree day to day temp difference is giving the best weather... Hardline Tas wouldn't be rideable most days of the year
Go the Vanzacs -
57:30 If you brake the same arm twice in quick succession you might be off the bike for a year. You only have one brain and if you brake it twice in quick succession you'll be lucky if you ever ride again, not to mention all the other repercussions!
EDDDDD BULLLLL!
😂
REAL BAD MONNNNN
Ha, love it!
Your average MTB rider would go out and ride an enduro style of ride.
Crazy how little they’re doing for the enduro scene. Such a shame.
Let's hope they find ways to improve
I think the bikes aren't selling because of Ebikes and that's killing it
enduro exploded when the bike industry wanted to push these BIKES AND FORKS
now the PLATFORM is established seems less focus
its like WAVES of trends SAD
I watched NINA HOHMANN'S video CZECH REPUBLIC not sure top of head
we need new venues - tourism boards
I remember skiing whistler back in 97 in ski school and saying to few industry people
mtb tourism look now
DH is currently being killed so I dread what’s coming for EDR 😢 it’s so shit. Terrible footage, terrible accessibility, cutting peoples run short and just focusing on the top 5’s runs. Barely showing the juniors. Cutting stages. Soon, all you’ll have is road and XC
Downhill is dying, enduro doesn’t stand a chance.
This presenter seems obsessed with marketing
God forbid a dood make a livin
@@CoderShare haha nah all I was pointing out if how he keep talking about things from a marketers point of view, talking our reach and referring to racers as products
@@CoderShare I know it's how most people in the mtb world view things but I still find it uncomfortable
Yea I agree. Def talks like he a motocross analyst on an ESPN round table.
Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, ha ha. Apologies if you guys don't like the way I do things.
I don’t know how the Pivot riders can stand being around narcissists BK and the thing JH
Bad vibes!
Salty much?
Given your comment, that doesn’t surprise me…. You do know you don’t know them, don’t you…. errrr… no you don’t know that, do you ❄️ ?
@@Coolcmscyou do know that you don’t know that I do know them Well
