Brown Ale - "The Carlton Showband"

Brown Ale performs a salute to The Carlton Showband, one of Canada's most popular and enduring musical icons.
The song was written by band member Glenn McFarlane, who helped get this legendary group inducted into the Brampton Arts Walk of Fame in March 2024.
The group was most famous for being the house band on The Pig and Whistle Show on CTV from 1966 to 1977. They won a Juno Award in 1975 and were nominated for two more in 1980 and 1981. The band formed in 1963 and lasted 33 years, until 1996.
