The first episodes were about world building and establishing characters. I don’t understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp regardless if the show is taking place in a world that you are familiar with or not. The point is you (the audience) have not heard this story so the show runners have to establish the settings and characters. It seems that too many people, especially reviewers, are caught up with wanting so much action in *every* episode without regard for storytelling.
People just have shit taste and no attention span. Pay attention to how many get confused by events that were literally just explained to them or forget something from one episode to the next. Like wtf were you even watching? Add in the fact our storytelling traditions are now all hidden behind paywalls and intellectual property laws and you have a recipe where all the reactors I used to watch for enjoyment are now just hate watches for me. Now to watch the video to see how many times dude with hair checks his phone while doing what appears to be his job...
So, close. Tootsie POPS. Tootsie Rolls were all chocolate. Tootsie Pops were lollipops except for the chocolate center. Thus, how many licks does it yake to get to the center of the Tootsie Pops. And Mr. Owl cheated by simply biting to the center.
I nust found out the actress who plays Ferns mother was the voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y. the AI that operates Spidermans suit in Civil War and the other MCU movies.
Remember the mandalorian and grogu sorted out pirates season 3 in Nevarro? Anyway guess we have to wait to find out how it all sigh why can't they release it all all once LOL 😂🎉💫
Of course Rekkai’s kids didn’t want to watch it; would you watch something your father was panning so hard right out of the gate? And I’m sure they were also doing their best to avoid ridicule.
I used to love that Tootsie Roll commercial as a kid and every single time i would forget that tootsie rolls were disgusting before grabbing one. Better to never get to that center, Mr. Owl. The journey was definitely better than the destination.
Absolutely delightful show, 9.5, totally making up for the lore-bashing Aco. I saw IV age 5 in the theater, this is totally who this show is targeted at as well as kids.
The erasure of Anakin's tusken raiders massacre, Neel is more Babar adjacent than Snuffy, and KB just need to learn to open up to her friends and trust that they would accept her for who she actually is. The other had issues that required more attention to their arc. She had a more realistic worldview that made her easier to relate to
he didn't because Jod is not a complete scoundrel. It's clear he does have some reluctant fondness for these kids and there are lines he prefers not to cross if he can help it. I actually don't think he can live with himself if he truly used the force on the kids, the way whoever hunted down his master probably did to him.

'SON, YOU ARE TALKING TO A LEVEL & SYSTEMS COORDINATOR, GET THE BIKE.' Black Nerd Father Representation, at last.
So nerdy, I love it!

I’d give it a 9.5

I enjoyed the series. Props to the directors, writers and actors. What’s next?! I recommend American Primeval.
