Unfortunately I will have to work the 26 and 27 april. Have fun in Switzerland... I think you're almost ready to try the axis art pro 1201, even faster and even more pleasure than the Gong curve XL.
What a pity... I hope we'll get the chance to meet next time! Would love to try it (or at least to try to try it 😅)
Also, if you happen to get your hands on a 1401 during your travels, it would be really interesting with a showdown between that and the Sirius in similar size! I think there was a 136 cm

How nice to receive your verdict, since I recently ordered and received the same foil from Gong, the Curve H XXL 115 cm!
I haven’t yet had the time to try it yet since I’m changing one thing at a time, to see what changes what, and have been testing my reshaped 5’7” Gong Lance FSP 2X, that by my hands now is a narrow semi sinker board of 20 inches width.
It’s for wing foiling off course but after this verdict of yours I guess I’ll have to start learning pump foiling! 😃

I'm not an expert wing foiler, but I believe the Curve XXL is a great choice! And you can use it for dock starting as well!

In Svizzera andrò a Zurigo in quanto ho parenti lì e passerò da Biel/Bienne prima di andare lì. Steckborn è davvero lontano e purtroppo non credo di riuscire a farcela a passare, ma se per caso riusciste a raggiungerci sul lago di Zurigo venerdì pomeriggio o sabato mattina sarebbe fantastico e mi farebbe molto piacere!

It is possible to start this small 115 from a rock? It seems really tricky! Perhaps you could show how you do these starts would be really interesting. Also, notice that you are very low on the mast when you pump the Carve, does that have anything to do with the low AR?
Yvon can dockstart the Axis ART 1099 (if I remember correct), the volume of the Curve XXL is twice as big as the ART 1099! (1.88 vs 0.9 L). So it's super doable. The aspect ratio of the Curve XXL isn't that low (8.5), I'm low on the mast because my technique is so bad! It was my first time on this foil and my first time on a 'small' foil, and as you can imagine it's pretty difficult to achieve an efficient technique when trying so many wings in a row. Essentially I use the same technique I use with the other foils to start it, I just have to be more gentle while landing on the board and give small quick pumps at the beginning to pick up speed.

You also tried the XL 1300cm2. I have the XXL Curve reacht 26,3 kmh Max speed with that Thing😊. Now i think about the XL!! Have you tried it?
Im curious, you said you wouldnt recommend curve xxl vs gong sirrus xl as i requires more speed. In another video (dead/drop start you said its easier to start curve H vs sirrus).
Which one needs less speed for a dead start/beach start/dock start? (Co paring curve h xxl vs sirrus xl) thanks. Its cool gong let you test all the gear.
Hi! If I said that the Curve H XXL is easier to start, I made a mistake. Maybe I meant that the Curve H 3XL is easier to start. However, they both have a very good low end so they don't require much speed to take off, but the Sirus takes off earlier

I ordered gong flint pack with the curve v2 xxl and alu mast 85 cm. Do you think I can use this foil with a klubber board to try pumping in dock start ? Do you suggest to buy a shorter mass ? Or this foil is a no go for pumping in dock start ?
@@xy6624 hi, even if you bought the curve (no H) xxl, you can still try. It’s not going to be ideal, but doable
