I’ve never used that clay before. What Temp and how long do you bake it for

I am sorry I did not see this question for some reason. The newest version of this clay bakes at 265 for 30 minutes.

can I use Apoxie Sculpt to make the base and then use Sculpey clay on top (without it sticking)? and if so, do you bake it with the Apoxie Sculpt or remove first?

I am sorry, but I have never used Apoxie Sculpt before. You could use pretty much anything that is not too sticky to make a base. You could add baking powder to the base before putting on the clay which will help the clay come off easily.

@@jrosenbomb You can bake it on this putty because it has a really high temperature rating. A lot of silicons have pretty high temperature ratings, but you should always check the manual to verify. You definitely don't want this burning. Also, I recommend either baking it in a separate oven that you don't use for food or making sure it is food safe. I picked up a really nice used toaster oven for about $15 that I use for all my craft baking.

Papa's Clay is a polymer clay so once you bake it, you cannot be reused. And, the two part mold mix becomes permanent once you mix it, but you can reuse it tons and tons and tons of times as a mold for your ghosts. If you are looking for a reusable and non-permanent clay, I recommend that you try Sculpture Pro. Sculpture Pro is an oil based clay which can be reused over and over because it never dries and also never cures.
