Do you by chance know if the Apex trigger works in this? I usually run my m&p 2.0 4.25” in carry optics, but I just ordered one of these and have the 507comp on preorder as well.
I dont know, if the trigger is compatible with the metal series it will work in this gun.
What competition are you running at the end? Just got back into shooting and that looks enjoyable.
That was a multigun competition. I cut the rifle portion at the beginning. But if you want to shoot handguns only, I shoot a lot of uspsa and idpa.
Can you remove the magazines base plate to make them more like the normal m&p 17 round magazine?
yes you can, if you get the standard flat base plates
What base pad extensions did you buy to fit the factory mag well? I have Taylor Freelance and Arredondo extensions and they do not fit the factory mag well.
I dont have any that fit the factory magwell, best to go aftermarket there

I started out with this from amazon "Black Scorpion Outdoor Gear OWB Pro IDPA Competition Holster fits Smith & Wesson MP9, MP40 M2.0 5 in" But as far as ive seen the 5.0" m&p 2.0 holsters will work for the competitor.
I am running the plastic plate. Ive had some trouble keeping the screws tight even with loctite. I had to witness mark them with a paint pen and I check them pretty often.
I'm curious, can you put the slide on a standard polymer frame? I want to see if they are interchangeable (want to see if i can only order the slide).
As far as I understand they are interchangeable, but I don’t own one to verify

17 rounds is more than enough for the magazine to hold if you really want to get crazy buy a 50 round drum.
For the division I run in uspsa you can fit 21-23 in the magazine and still have that magazine fit the size requirements. So pretty much everyone you are shooting against will have around 22 rounds per mag so to be competitive you do need the extensions.

What is a good optic for this gun? I have debating between the eotech eflx or the trijicon Sro
I currently have the holoson 407c on there because I already had one. the SRO would be sweet, delta point pro, anything large window would be at home on this gun. I have pre-ordered a Holosun 507 Competition which has a really large window, so hopefully that doesnt take year...
I actually just found a used SRO that I have headed my way... so SRO for the time being

Look at the Holosun SCS MP2GR.. it sits direct to frame and doesnt require battery changes. This is what im putting on mine when i get one
@@CaffeineFreak13 the scs isnt big enough for me personally. I want the largest window I can get. the plates are pretty thin so it doesnt raise the optic much. I do really like the direct mount on my other two optics ready guns but I dont think its a deal breaker to be able to get a really large window
The rival steel is going to destroy this gun for the same money.
I'd like to get my hands on one for sure and see. I like that this one comes with 4 mags. Personally I am very comfortable with the M&P platform, but it was between this gun and the rival-s I just couldn't wait for the RIval-s to drop.

Yeah I had to order from gunbroker and send to my FFL. They said the same thing
A question man do i need to let my ffl know its coming or can i just have it shipped there
