Nice boat and I like the Sea Deck but why not have the Sea Deck in the floor? That is where I would want it the most, is there a reason that it isn’t in the floor?
I like the seadek like this without all the scribbling designs. I avoided xpress due to this because of the scribbling markings on the seadek. I thought that was the only way it came until I seen this video. I'm back on xpress. Nice video
And the feel is better too! Not a squishy as the X series boats. More solid firm feel the H series has.
I can’t find a way to order it without the scroll design on the seadek. I am currently building one w dealer. Can’t get the seadek without the scrolled / colored design. Which I hate and makes me look elsewhere. That design is hideous !! Looks like a mad kid was turned loose w a can of spray paint

Does the sea deck get extremely hot when the sun is high?
You have to pick the boat then change out the trolling motor an add graphs they shouldn’t ship with trolling motor cause that average an above fisherman surely isn’t going without spotlock hell new skeeters an Phoenix I believe are shown with the foretrex an you have to upgrade to ultrex or ghost or force etc
Please do a little more about storage. How long of a rod will it hold? How many could you put in it. And the tackle storage how do 3700 boxes fit in the boxes. Would greatly appreciate a video on that and a closer look at the live well. Thanks again

That Rhino Liner is gonna be a pain to clean off.
It's kinda slick compared to actual bedliner. More like a beaded paint. I have a x21b and it cleans up easy. Mine is white.
Nice boat, BUT....had to go to Michigan to get a deal on a brand new boat. You guys were way overpriced. When I asked why, was told it's a seller's market...lmbo

I live in western Pa and we have a 20hp limit for most of the inland lakes. Can this boat be rigged with a 20hp Mercury four stroke?
You need to move sates that’s garbage to limit the motor size But limiting it to 4 stroke an no 2 stroke is what some areas do for pollution issues
If that's the case stick to a 14 to 16 for jon boat. Cheaper and more practical

The storage on Xpress boats have never been dry and never will be. The original H18’s had a short front deck and a huge rear deck. I really like the way they have built the new H18 with the larger front decks. ....But I don’t see why you can’t have an option of having a 150hp on the back. What’s up with front storage on the drivers side? Why do the bottom of those plastic trays slant instead of being square? What are you going to put in there? A wallet and some keys?

You nailed it and have my exact thoughts. I noticed them boxes are loud and likely rattle as well. Its an aesthetically pleasing boat but leaves alot to be desired in quality.
They slant to match the hull.

My question is where have they cheapened out the parts at in the boat? I'd like to know that first so I can get that replaced right away. Yes I've been burned in the past with Aluminum boats. Looks nice on the outside but what you can't see is what I'm interested in.
My H17 Xpress boat has the nicest accessories. All of it looks like Skeeter accessories and they do happen to be owned by the same parent company. Its a great boat. Very happy with mine for the last 10 years. My Yamaha 115 will get mine up to about 53 mph under best conditions which is plenty fast for me. Also, coming from a two stroke my Yamaha 4 stroke F115 is crazy quiet. Love my Xpress. This year will be 10 years.
@@steveshull8158 I Apprc your comments. I will consider the xpress. A 115 hp yamaha is a fantastic 4 stroke outboard. Really for my kind of fishing, it will be plenty. I have researched all the aluminum brands out there. Just don't want to make a mistake. My current aluminum boat needs upgraded. I've had it since 1994. My boat needs $ poured into it that I don't want to invest like a new transom, new plywood flooring that rotting & new carpet. The outboard still runs good but it's a Smokey two stroke.
@@midgebarker4022 Ya know I think Xpress boats are all composite where wood would be, so no wood. I understand your concern as that was an issue with a previous boat I had.
The Xpress boat has that pad hull step design too. Folks say my boat comes out of the water alot at speed which is good as it is less drag. Its an H17. I believe they no longer make the H series in 17 feet versions now. Only 18 feet and up now. But what is a foot(?), lol. For the H series it is all at the front deck which is good. The newer H series has a big front deck now and I like it.
You will likely customize the boat to your liking, like we all do, so you need a boat with good bones to start with. For me that was an Xpress, good luck with your decision Buddy.

Man for $30-35,000 bucks you would think it would at least come with lift arms on the lids.
