Fun fact about all summoning spells: once you cast the spell and the summon is in the field, you can go into the spell book and replace them with something else. The summons remain.
Anyone playing Druid on PC, I recommend getting the Wild Shape Viability and Moon Druid Gear mods. They will change the way you play and make druid MUCH more enjoyable.
I would suggest taking 1 level of war domain cleric and skipping the weapon proficiency feat so you can get the proficiency and some extra bonus action attacks
Yeah war cleric dip is also great and popular, but for Halsin I can't envision him as a war cleric RP/lore wise. Also, you'll have less HP in your wild shape forms and the bonus action will conflict with other bonus actions like crushing flight. Plus you'll be waiting an extra level for many wild shape forms depending on when you dip. On the bright side, war cleric will give the benefits you mentioned and you get an amazing spell in sanctuary. Both paths have their benefits.
@@Crozyn I would say take that level last honestly and for lore reasons I would say he’s a protector and defender of nature that can kinda be a decent reason maybe? Idk lol
@@keithwin3449 Definitely! You can't go wrong with either way honestly. You probably want to take war cleric before myrmidon forms though, so pre level 10. And yeah the lore reason idk lol. Halsin doesn't have a default "deity", like other characters do (Minthara/Shadowheart).
