Pes 2016 was just world class. God, i really miss the old days. Back when football games were actually fun and even more detailed than nowadays.
I already saw people missing pes 2021.

You can still modify it and plày it,you don't have to ditch a game because it's new,these RUclipsrs add "in 2023" for views.
Yeah they do seem to be getting progressively worse. It's a shame.

@@westheking12 PES 20/21 the gameplay is kinda dull and unresponsive IMO - I prefer the more dynamic, free flowing GP of PES 16,17,18

PES 16 was the first PES on PS4 you could add option files via USB so all the unlicensed teams became licensed in a few minutes - good times.

@@josefelfinito6925 Nope. Read my comment again. I said first on PS4 that you could use option files on USB to edit stuff. 15 was before 16 on PS4 but you couldn't use the option files/USB.

I actually remember it taking ages on PES 2016 because for that title you had to install it all separately and then set each individual image up but they improved that down the road. Either way it was definitely worth doing.

This is actually one i can remember among all the games that look the same. I remember awesome gameplay and having all i needed from Spain, Italy and France. I played the demo and after i scored an amazing goal with Totti and he took a selfie with the fans i had to buy it.
I have a strong feeling developers are deliberately ruining the on the ball movement and animations in recent football games to keep gamers longing for the yearly iterations . If not how else do you explain pes 16 having better movement and animations on ps3 than Fifa 23 on a 4090?

This was the last PES game I enjoyed, the gameplay was incredible. It was downhill afterwards. Been playing FIFA ever since
I bought this game like 6 months ago, awesome gameplay.
It hurts me everytime that Konami just gave up. And left us in the hands of Fifa. Don't really know what happened though.

On Ea fc career mode they should add a trophy cabinet and you can see all of your trophies throughout the seasons just like pro clubs

Pes 2016 is the most Realistic Football game made ever you can score by many ways and It's not easy to score Fifa in these days is just a skill game

i was playing this game after lockdown until my laptop crushed. it's super fun
One of the best imo. It was a well rounded experience after many bad years. 2013 was the worst for me and I started with ISS. Now I am playing PES 21 with the ISS 97 mod and I am having a blast. I can really recommend this if you dislike the e-football scripting disgrace and want some good ol' times back without paying for a PES 6 mod.

I played it at the time and just dusted off my PS4 and started playing again, starting at Pro level. It was brilliant, but as you go to the highest difficulty levels the COM sliding tackles become ridiculous. No defenders in the world can time sliding tackles again and again that well. I realised why I stopped playing it the first time - I ending up super frustrated. It ruins the game for me, which is a real shame as it is otherwise brilliant.

2010 was the last decent one i played i loved that game. From the original iss to pes 2010. 2011/12 killed the game for me.
Spend lot of hours in this game by not just playing it but also editing the patch, adding all legends with real face. So much fun compared to this new EFootball. Watching these makes me want to play it again😢

One of the best pes games out there buh still lacked a lot of things like the collision’s,not enough animations,graphics,original player faces ,and Ai wasn’t much smarter only if the game is scripted , the crowd in game is horrible (pixilated 😏) , Ui is too simple and a whole lot. Buh apart from that game was exciting to play. If only Konami where serious , the could even made it better. Again still can’t believe handball doesn’t exist on pes like seriously Konami 🙄
