Sandi What fun it was to watch this floss tube !!! Perhaps it was reliving the retreat through your video. Just charming thank you so much! This summer we are staying home hoping to spend lots of time with granddaughters who will be home from college Plus lots of stitching!!!LOL!
Thank you for sharing your time at the friend gathering sounds like so much fun 🤩 enjoyed seeing all your beautiful projects have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you for watching!
What a fun retreat & then to visit & the Attic is icing on the cake! I have never been to a retreat & enjoy others sharing their adventures on Flosstube. The end of the school year is a very busy time for teachers, my daughter teaches English in High School & she's on the countdown.
It was so much fun. I think all of us; students and teachers are on a countdown lol
Hi Sandi Thank you for sharing your cross stitch with us. I also collected Cherished Teddies years ago and went on many CT events. I have cross stiched for about 35 years and have really enjoyed it, my favorite is Halloween. I live in ON Canada and we don't start our gardens until the middle of May. Enjoy the rest of your school year❤❤❤ Sandi Pritchard😊
I went to CT events too!
Such beautiful stitching. I like the pincushion you made. What a thoughtful gift for a quilter. Reading or blooming.
Thank you
We absolutely love Telestrations! I hope you have a wonderful birthday. My hubby and I are taking a Viking River cruise on the Danube. I’m so excited about it.
That sounds so fun, my hubby would love a trip like that.
Hi Sandi…I am Gina’s Illinois/Florida (winter) stitching friend..what fun you gals must have had at the Attic! I enjoyed your video of your trip, and, I always enjoy seeing your videos..hope your end of year at school goes smoothly.
Hello, thank you. We did have a great time. Gina is such a sweet friend we are both blessed to have her in our lives!
This summer will be a busy one for us. I am a retired kindergarten/1st grade teacher (I retired at end of last school year) so every time I hear you talking about end of year I remember all the stuff that needs to be done. ❤ I am amazed that you manage to do all that you do!!!
We are building a new house in the country so that will take up much of our time but we also plan o. Doing some tent camping and gardening. The people who lived here before us had lots of iris plants and they are currently blooming and beautiful!!!
Building a new home sounds so exciting
Another great video . Your retreat that you all organized sounded like so much fun . I really miss not hooking up with other stitchers . I really have no plans for summer for travel , it's just too hard to get around. I do have people coming down from up north to stay for awhile. Just planing on getting alot of stitching done and a whole lot of finishing. Greetings to you and your family give the kids a great send off . Happy stitching ❤❤❤
Lorraine, I hope your visitors bring you so much joy!
This summer will be a stay at home staycation.
Good luck with your butterflies. So far it is a sad story 😢.
Hopefully the butterflies will come out of the chrysalis this weekend.
Loved hearing about your adventures going to the Attic. Going to the beach and getting things ready for my daughter's wedding in September!
Congratulations!
It’s been a very long winter so I plan on enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. We have a large garden, I like to ride my bike and we take care of our two grandkids. Wheelbarrow or greetings
Sounds amazing!!
It was nice to see your trip with friends to The Attic and happy for all the great memories you have from your shopping and sharing meals and stitching time together. Hope you have lots of energy to finish your school year well and then you can relax into stitching through the summer. Loved your WIPs you shared today and it really shows what two days on a project will accomplish! Also the scissor case project was so sweet and very useful as well. My summer will be spent at home but I will be attending my granddaughter’s wedding the beginning of September near our home. I will be gardening, cross stitching, quilting and getting in some books to read on the front porch with my iced tea 🧋📚 Happy stitching
Just saw your comment. Thank you, Im so glad you stopped by on my Sunday zoom stitch!
@@stitchinwithsandi I really enjoyed meeting new friends from the West coast!!😀 Thank you for setting these zoom stitching sessions up for time together doing what we love❤️
@@nancyevans7609 So happy to bring others together!
The Attic… I can only dream to go shopping there.
I have about 3 retreats to go to. Can’t wait.

Love all your stitching. I'm so glad you had a fun trip. Sounds amazing! This summer we are just staying home. I'm starting a garden but its small enough I will not need a wheelbarrow . Greetings!
Thank you
Loved hearing about the retreat!its so cool you guys put your own together. We bought my husbands grandparents house. So this summer we are remodeling ut our selfs. Its exciting but im dreading it. Haha
Im sure it will be lots of work but definitely worth it! Rethinking room design sounds great to me! I love making changes!
You really get a lot of stitching done! This summer, we plan on doing some tent camping. Here in our area, things are finally blooming.
I love camping, hopefully we will get some in this summer
Your retreat sounds amazing!! Good for you for taking it on yourselves to put together your own adventure. We still have at least six weeks of school left here in the Northeast. We have some travel plans to visit family this summer, but so far that's about it. 😉
We have 5 more weeks! Looking forward to Summer break!
This summer I plan on spending some time cross stitching and I hope to take a mini vacation to somewhere that has a Cross Stitch store not sure yet where I’m going to head to but the flowers are blooming and I have started to make some greeting cards. Thanks and have a wonderful week.
Have a great week too!
It was so fun meeting in person! Can't wait til next time!
Yes it was! It looks like they are definitely working on Vegas in July!
@@stitchinwithsandi awesome, excited to find out the date!
I’ve been watching for your video! Yay!
Thank you
really enjoyed your video and hearing about your little retreat. This June I will be attending my first retreat I am so very excited. We also have some camping trips planned and also a trip to see my sister. Wheel barrel and greetings. Can't wait to see your FFO's Happy stitching Patty
You are going to have so much fun at retreat!
Greetings from WA, dear friend. I had already ordered pins from Amazon that arrive today, so was excited to see you say that is the craft for Tuesday. I didn't realize others were welcome to join on the non craft Tuesdays.
This summer, May is just construction and doctors. June is a retreat and an event with my non-profit, plus construction. July is an event with my non-profit and an event at Acorns and Threads. August is Black Needle Society Retreat in MO. Busy busy.
I have lots of veggies blooming and waiting for fruits.
❤
You are very busy, feel free to pop in whenever you can!
Wow!!! You have a packed schedule!!! I cant wait until Tuesday! Just wish i would have joined sooner. I love the scissor holders and the pincushions! I cant wait to hear more of the butterfly saga! I just adore your classroom stories! My mom was a school teacher for 47 years and she is now "semi" retired. Anyhow sorry for the long comment...i will be taking my kids to a cabin where THEY hike etc...and i stitch. Lol. We will take several short trips close to home. Waterparks are always a win! Looking forward to your next video, but even more so to the crafting zoom! See you there!!! Greetings
I love how you said your mom is semi retired. Ive been in education for 31 years now and I can see me subbing when Im retired lol. I would also stitch while mine hike too lol! See you Tuesdsy
Thank you for another fun update Sandi😊. I love that you and some friends made your own retreat. I am going to my first retreat in June and am looking forward to it! I am taking a class with Jeanette Douglas there so that is exciting. Otherwise we are having a summer at home which I plan to fill with as much crafting as possible. My daughter is going abroad for school for six weeks and I expect my heart to be somewhere in my throat for the fifty days she will be gone lol! Crafting should be a good distraction for me. Best of luck with the rest of the school year!
You are going to have a wonderful time!
Greetings, blooming. I would like to travel with my twin sister this summer. I really like the project bags you got.
How fun! I wish I had a sister, Im sure you both have a great time together!
Looks like you ladies had a really good time. Bet you are ridiculous busy with school now. May your school year end on a great note. Wow! Darn! Caterpillars are not your thing🥴
I started a part time position at the local library in February. Will have a fun time working with the kiddos in summer reading this year. My youngest granddaughter will be involved this year. We had a Harley for several years. Aging has made it uncomfortable and we had to sell it. Got a new Spider and will be riding our new bike a lot this summer. Can’t wait! God Bless!
Those caterpillars! I hear myself every year saying, " you just never know the outcome in science!"
We garden in the summer. No other plans. wheelbarrow
Thank you
This summer were going to take a couple road trips where I'll get to go to the final 3 Laura Ingalls Wilder homesites that I've yet to see, historical spots in Philadelphia and the Amish country around Lancaster Pennsylvania. Included in these trips are Keepsakes near Cincinnati, the LNS that I can't recall the name of right now but I know Judy Whitman goes there and a few other stitching shops to make my travels over the top fun! Oh, and this weekend I get to go to Cecilia's Samplers in Branson Missouri. Such fun!
Hopefully, I won't need a Wheel barrow for my haul. But I send you greetings from Missouri where we're blooming all over the place.
Wow you are going to have so much fun! It sounds like an amazing trip
SANDI!! We have the same bday!! Can we quick get a bday buddy start?🥰🥰
Yes lets!! What stitch were you thinking?
@@stitchinwithsandi I have a kathy barrick (black willow farm) I wanted to start and you could do that kathy barrick you got . Or we could stitch the same pattern one of swth or 🙇♀️🙇♀️what is that quilter that has all the freebies you mentioned? I can never remember her name.
