Splatoons 2 is awesome
Legend of zelda breath of the wild, animal crossing new horisons (really relaxing game), mario kart 8 deluxe, splatoon 3 (coming this september), super smash bros ultimate and super mario odesy are all good games but i recomend animal crossing for really good and relaxing asmr

the Joystick is the little thumb button that can move omnidirectionally and be pushed in, the controller itself is called a Joycon.

for games theres a lot of fun games to get mario odyssey, mario 3d, breathe of the wild, pokemon sword and shield or even pokemon brilliant diamond, shining pearl, legends arceus, smash bros, luigis mansion, and mariokart
I can't believe you didn't got Zelda Breath Of The Wild. It's one of the best game you can play on this console. Super Smash Bros is also a classic of parties w friends or family
You should definitely get Splatoon 2. Both that and the original are great games, but the first game is only on the Wii U. The third’s about to come out too!
Hey dido, just a heads up that the joycons are really easily damaged leading to stick drift so cleaning them regularly is recommended, I know from experience. 😞

It’s not about cleaning I’ve had my switch for about 7 months, and didn’t clean the joycons and they’re fine, this is just a problem of time it happened with my ps4 controllers and they wore down really fast after that. So I just suggest taking good care and cleaning and inspecting them.

It's definitely a bit bigger than I thought from watching videos, but it feels good to hold.

@@Thejennonanator Alright. I've tested and played around with it a bit now. I played Elden Ring, Final Fantasy XIV, Tales of Arise, NieR Automata, Spyro and some indie games. Everything runs really well. Graphically intensive games like Elden Ring at Medium settings, stuff like NieR Automata at high settings. FFXIV didn't run out of the box, but if you take the deck into desktop mode and install a fix and edit a file, it runs amazingly well. That's the nice thing about it being a small PC. Screen looks really nice and is pretty big. Especially when the game supports the 16:10 aspect ratio.
The Steam OS UI looks good and is intuitive to use.
Even games that aren't verified for the deck run great most of the the time. If it has controller and Linux support, it's probably playable.
If you plan to play with the deck on the go a lot and don't just want to use it to play in bed, you'll definitely need a fat power bank. Something like Elden Ring will suck the deck dry in around 2 hours. (obv. you can extend it a bit by lowering settings and dimming the screen).
The deck is definitely pretty big, especially if you protect it with the Official Case that comes with the most expensive version. That thing gives a lot protection but is so bulky that it'll take up a lot of space in a bag for carry-on luggage for example. If you're not too paranoid about the deck getting damaged, a smaller case is probably a good idea.
Overall, a day in, I'd recommend it based on first impressions. Particularly if you already have a large steam library. It's just cool to know that from now on, if I buy a game, I'll also have a portable version.
@@Til_What thanks for the review I'm going to get one at the end of the year when I have a fair amount of money saved. I might get the more expensive one as I have a decent library of games and I'm gonna need the bigger ssd that comes with the system
