As an Anarchist Main I know this loadout was destined for me and the moment I realized the gas was green in the DLC, I already renamed my launcher to "Shrek" and Im still waiting for the day where a mod would change the grenade explosion sound to the Fart Reverb sound effect

The basilisk is absolutely crazy. I equipped it to try it out and now it's pretty much my primary weapon. For those who haven't thought of it themselves, if you flick the mouse in between the grenades firing, you can cover so much ground each burst.
A small tip about the Bloodthirst reload buff, grenade launchers, and single shell-loading shotguns is if you time the reload and cancel the reload animation before it finishes, you can keep the reload speed increase without having to reapply it every 10 seconds. The only ones I'm sure it doesn't work with is the Arbiter, and the magazine-fed shotguns.
Ive been using a similar set up but with the uzi as my secondary and grinder as my deck, the poison does great for health regen and the uzi slaps everything
have been using the same type of build and it is really great for mayhem or dw. If you ever take too much damage, just fire a few grenades into the fray and boom, 10hp/s regen for around a minute depending on what enemy it hits

Thank you, this build is too much fun. I decided to play in a random online match and you're right. It is a build to carry unexperienced players without the struggle
I ran into someone using this build in death wish safehouse defence. Its actually pretty good, I can recommend it.
Its so good for defending objectives, and the fact that it disrupts alot of animations is crazy. I dont know how it hasn't been nerfed to the ground yet
Use it on ds and you will find out why

i combined this with your 1 shot dozer melee build from a while ago and it made it even crazier
Been using a very similar build, gravitated towards akimbo SMGs instead of the LMG because I found they were melting dozers faster

tip: hostage taker can heal you passively by having jokers. So you can be in cover while you are low on health and heal up by having jokers aka cop ai turrets
anarchist gives you 150+ armor by sacrificing your normal health to 115, cops on ds do 225 damage so it s meaningless having hostage taker
i would go for the ammo tree instead. the funny thing is that you have infinite ammo not when you place it, but when you got ammo from the bag. which means you use 1 ammo, then grab ammo from the ammo bag, that way 1 ammo bag can last a whole 4 man team the entire game and then you got infinite ammo for 20secs. the crazy thing about it is, that you dont loose ammo in your magazine while doing it. so you can rapidfire spam those grenades like an absolute maniac, cause you dont have to reload. its not like max ammo is infinite, but you still have to reload, since the magazine and max ammo are infinite no reloading needed. you could even use a rocket launcher and spam rockets everywhere. it feels like many underrate the power of infinite ammo.
this makes every type of mission, where you have to defend a certain objective for a while or where you have to make several trips back and forth to carry stuff around super easy. fire 1 shot with your primary (akron or whatever) then take that 1 ammo from the ammo bag and spam grenades on your basilisk for free and fill the entire street with gas.basically everyone dies except dozers, but i mean you got an akron.
i prefer the compact due to its high concealment and decent pickup
basilisk has the same if not better ammo pick up and spreads gas better give it a try

ive been using the piglet with poison and an uzi as my scondary and that works just fine in dsod
I tried something similar but with the ketchnov rifle from one of the smuggler packs
if swat members can deploy tear gas, we can fill the air with swamp juice
literally reverse uno card. they block our sights, we block their lungs
If only your pfp was smoke and not mute it would be better xd
I've be running these grenades with my Grinder build. I can confidently say that my build is now complete.
This build legit can trivialize certain dsod heists.
Still a good build for narrow heists. I just held out for 30 mins in no mercy after the game glitched and the elevator didnt come. Without skills. Only DW tho
the monster that i made with the toxic grenades is a grinder setup. 1 weapon to somewhat deal with dozer and sniper (can be anything you like. i use the lion's roar since i like it) then the toxic grenade launcher, and molotovs for more damage over time. to make it even more insane i go for the controller, engineer and ammo specialist tree. been havong a blast with it. so the enemy can walk through poison gas and fire while they get shot by multiple sentry turrets and their own teammates. probably the best "become a bunker" build

How well does this work with grinder seeing as you will trigger the regen constantly without fail.

Works pretty well, SydneyHUD shows me getting to 9 stacks of grinder pretty quick.
Been using the new LMG to pop heads and top off armor while the venom grenades fill up health

Extremely. I've been running Grinder for 2-3 Months now and my survivability has increased immensely with this launcher

@@Jazzy-kz6wd Oh yeah I run Mayhem, no point for me in going higher because fun drops too much soon
(But this was still the quickest way to refill my health, no matter the difficulty)

The Versteckt LMG is based off the HK 51, which wasn't even made my HK, but was an American Mocup of a G3 with MP5 furniture and chambered in 7.62 by 51 mm Nato.
In the HK numbered system, the first digit refers to the type of weapon and the second for the ammo.
the 5 and 1 in HK 51 refer to it being a select fire mag fed rifle chambered in 7.62 by 51mm Nato.
However, if it's a belt fed rifle, which here, it is, it should actually be a HK21, which is already in the game as the Brenner 21.
Other than the inaccuracy in that regard, there's a reason why box mags for ammo belts exist.
Without anything to protect them, they could be damaged and torn apart, if the inaccuracy as a result of damaged rounds or a heavy belt throwing your aim everywhere as it dangles weren't annoying enough.
Not to mention that having such a short barrel on 7.62 Nato wouldn't be enough for the energy of the gun powder to properly be transferred to the bullet, meaning that the damage output should by all means be awful and that there should be an enormous muzzle flash every time you fire, either blinding you, or preventing you from seeing what the hell you're shooting at.
TL:DR, this gun, especially in the state in which it was added to the game, is an abomination.

id love to see this with hacker to have 75% dodge change using the more concealed grenade launchers as well as both maxed out crits and risking it with zerker and frenzy aced and high valued target to do as much dmg as possible....
As a grinder main, slap on some jokers and turrets and watch your health bar spike up and down like the stock market
Kknowley was actually right about this one... if you just shoot em on spawn points you can win.

I think Viper grenades don't have impact damage
I know Fire grenades don't deal damage

Aye I made it into the video, figured out why I kept crashing. For what ever reason if there are gas grenades on the ground when the heist ends it crashes my game. If you have this issue stop firing 60-30 seconds before ending the heist
I haven't played the PC version in 6 months. The amount of shit they've added is ri-goddamn-diculous and I might have to Heist my local Best Buy so I can take part in the SWAMP.

As much as Grinder sucks my best friend swears up and down that gas grenades with Grinder are goated, only issue is light armor, so probably not good for DS

Is there a reason why my basilisk wont load anymore shells with the Venom Exclusive set on with the same upgrades Kknowley has, Also Tazing myself doesnt reload the weapon it keeps firing, im assuming im dumb and missing something

You do say that this build is good for the holdout game mode, but i keep loosing, around wave 7 it gets too much and they some how take the hostage even though the AI at right next to it and me with everything right.
I just need help the holdout in general, i cant get to wave 9 and cant beat it no matter what build i have
The trick to holdout, if you just want to get to wave 9, is to play the Alesso Heist. The hostage is behind a counter and you basically never have to leave cover.

I run this on grinder instead of anarchist. I've been able to solo shit like Hoxout and Birth of Sky solo DSOD. it's fucking broken 😂

Update 235 absolutely nerfed ammo pickup. As a result I don't think this setup is DSOD viable anymore :(
Why take Low Blow as a skill if pairing it with the new LMG means your concealment is too high regardless?
Because it didn't use to be, they rebalanced it. I've been running akimbo 21s with it and it works great
