There's definitely not a high chance but then gain I also mostly played for fun since when I got to infamy 102 I was at around 5.9k to 6k hours total playtime. If I only took breaks to sleep, pee and eat then that'd be a different story.

My god I wish I knew this a year ago when I was really into osu, playing 3 one hour sessions for a week straight is NOT a good idea. Im still dealing with it in one of my fingers and I need to talk with a doctor about it.

I've been playing Payday 2 almost every day for at least 2 hours for 7 months now and I might have already burned out and will never be able to ejnoy this game ever fucking again

@@blobama I dont think your quite understanding why that is a lot. Osu is a rhythm game where you click cricles at the difficulty I was playing at (around 5 stars) and playing longer burst and stream heavy maps meant my two fingers where alternating at up to 220 bpm sparatically for up to 6 minutes that is very hard on your tendens and joints and why taking breaks is so crucial. In payday I rarely hit that apm on 2 fingers I'm normally using my entire hand so they load is more spread out.

I'd be curious to see the Tool-Assisted speedrun for this. Obviously a frame-by-frame TAS isn't possible, but using the RNG mod to control the values, and seeing what the 'perfect' run could look like could definitely be a good resource for aspiring runners.
something similar to a frame by frame TAS is *possible* though very time consuming, you could use mods to slow the game down immensely, perhaps even to 1 frame per second (obviously this is not the same as just lowering your fps) and then complete a run through of the game, though it would have to be segmented.
I'm glad there's a restricted category because we all didn't want you to have to run the same heist 20 times in a row. Plus, this must've been much more fun than that.
Holdouts probably are just making you clear out 9 assault waves like the rest of the loud waves, meaning killing as little cops as possible and taking as few shots as possible to reduce the fade duration can speed it up considerably over 9 waves
I tried your shrek build yesterday and oh my GOD is it powerful! I couldn't stop laughing while me and my buddies did the deposit box bank heist and pretty much cleared house within a couple seconds. 😂
I know this uses the venom explosives, but I still picture in my head a Shrek perk deck.

Can you Beat Payday 2 using only 1 Skill Tree? Meaning that you're only allowed to use Mastermind/Enforcer/Technician/Ghost/Fugitive and no mixing skills, meaning no Inspire with Feign Death, Jack of All Trades with Iron Man, etc.
It's actually pretty easy just go shotgun/tank build
@@someguyinazoo Mastermind or Enforcer would prolly be the best as you could run 2 full med bags or 14 mini meds, along with inspire, and run two tank jokers.

If you look up the definition of Insanity in the dictionary, you get a picture of a computer from Big Bank taunting you.
Have a theory for the difference in Holdout lengths.
- I believe the spawn/de-spawn locations make a slight difference in the fade length period, and Alesso has slightly closer locations for both compared to SMB, as well as ease of clearing the field of enemies as a whole. It matters because Assault waves need both a time trigger *and* fewer then 7 enemies spawned to end, with all remaining units fully retreating once those measures are met. That discrepancy could be the reason.
Will do some testing to try and find out for certain.
I always do Murky Station because it can be done solo in under 5 minutes and gives the huge 15% xp boost for being such a short heist. Always good for holdout
All loot give 1.2mil or 1.7mil exp assuming infamy 25 with no exp boost.

I wonder if using hacker for big bank would help make it more bearable. Several of the failed attempts look like they might’ve been saved with a pocket ecm. No yakuza means slower movement but the consistency boost might be worth it.
It also means you have to use a keycard to open the server room door as you won't have molotovs to activate Berserker with the saw.
@@poolsidetoiletproductions9402 actually you wouldn't because it doesn't take many taps to open the door. If it's the same as say the gates on election day 2 stealth then without berserker and with the durable blade saw it takes around 8-10 taps and with the sharp saw it takes I think 6. With berserker it'd take 2 taps for the sharp blade and 3 for the durable blade. This is all assuming aced portable saw.

Hey, I noticed you're using one down for a lot of your heists, DSOD doesn't actually give more xp than regular DS, so I'd recommend running regular DS unless there was another rule I wasn't aware of about DSOD
I remember back when marcmb got his start in the community glad to see him mentioned here, he's managed to push the squad infamy rush to 24 minutes.

My first 120 hours or so I was completely oblivious to anything but regular bank heists on normal mode and whatever gun/armor looked cool so I didn't realise how easy it was to go infamous
I got hooked playing this game a couple years ago when everyone was sleeping on sicario. Your channel gave me the idea to stack sicario and shotguns with no armor and i went from playing on the second difficulty to only the deathwish with that build.
I love your videos it’s always so entertaining to see someone just do these challenges I think of randomly and say to myself it’d be crazy to do but here you are doing these insane challenges

Originally when big bank released the cameras weren't Titan on death wish, and considering that this wasn't removed in the post release patches and wolf was shown shooting one off the wall in the trailer, it was probably intentional. Sadly in update 199 some rookie developers made the uninformed decision to add Titan cameras to the heist, along with this they ruined four stores entirely by doing the same thing, and and turned the rng where the back door doesn't spawn on diamond store from a minor inconvenience that changes your playstyle into something that makes most people reach for the restart button when it triggers.
Oh they also added them to big oil day 1 but it changes almost nothing about that heist except giving you less to do while waiting for the drills

@@hatmann5697 the only thing I agree with is four stores was ruined because for me when they added titan cams to the big bank it honestly wasn't any harder than before because I never bothered with the cam guy since I'd always kill 4 guards in the vault entrance and have the 5th one stuck with an asset which made the vault entrance super easy so all I'd have to do is not do anything dumb. I also prefer the diamond store without the easy mode side door because killing upstairs is easy with hacker and a couple more ecms. More than enough time is left to get the cam guy and Stockholm syndrome basic makes keeping civs down long enough easy.

I remember testing this with 2 rounds of the small jewelry store so you can get ecms, the hit the big jewelry store twice, and then do I think 30~ bags on cook off. In total it was 45~ minutes an infamy.
San Martin can actually be cheesed if you have a sniper rifle, as you can hide in the tellers, lock your AIs in the hallway right outside, and stand on the bookcase so it's harder for them to hit you from the hallway. Jokers can help too, just to add more chaff for enemies to shoot at, but the gist is just to snipe any targets who try unlocking the hostage. Not sure if it's actually faster, but it's probably safer?

One thing that I feel like would have helped a lot was using pocket ecm jammers. This would help with getting past cameras or even giving you time to put down the real ecm jammers

Most (if not all) holdouts I do are 28 minutes. I used to do Alesso Heist mostly but I have recently just been AFKing on First World Bank.

Big Bank solo stealth drives me up the wall. I'd take pretty much any other heist over it if I had to choose, so I feel your pain.
The only thing that annoys me with that is if the computer to hack is on the top part because I tend to just kill all the workers since doing so stops customers from going there.
As someone who mains big bank and knows the pain of solo….I salute you my friend

Seeing as you earned over 300k xp more than you needed, I believe you could save time by doing Golden Grin Casino instead of one Murky Station. It gives around 2.3 mil xp and can be easily done in under 10 minutes. You would lose 5% stealth bonus on big bank, but I think it would still be enough to reach 100 without doing Boiling Point. Doing so could save between 2 and 5 minutes. I wouldn't try this myself, because while I can consistently complete Golden Grin fast (my grind to infamy 25 was mostly Murky Station and Golden Grin), I cannot stand solo stealthing more than one Big Bank a day. Alongside Framing Frame, it's the only heist in the game I prefer not doing solo in stealth, so I applaud your commitment and patiance.
I was really hoping to find somebody talking about GGC. Absolutely agree, it is very good if not the perfect heist for grinding infamies. I personally would remove Big Bank out of chain for GGC, considering how random and not consistent it can be, not to mention all of the frustration that comes out of these potential failures and restarts. After all, this game should give you some fun, not the anger
i always use marcmb strat for election day though it is a 70% chance off guessing correctly but if it's speed we're talking about it works almost all the time, i havent really failed at all once i got it down correctly
First mistake at @2:45 I used to makes the same mistake. Turns out "four stores" on overkill difficulty gives more exp than Ukraine job on ds. And is under 2 mins solo. Best time 1:43.
If I were to try this on console (I know mods aren't a thing so technically can't submit) but what heists would replace holdout? Thinking about zooming really fast through infamy

Assuming you got a friend with a high crime spree lobby willling to carry you, you only need to play 6 high CS heists to get to 600 spree, which is enough for 30 mil xp for the infamy pool.
The fastest CS heist is Firestarter D2, which can be ECM rushed within 2 minutes.
So theoretically, you can get 1 infamy every 12 minutes, not counting the load times, assuming good RNG and that you have a good friend.
I think that the crime spree was fixed for infamy farming
@@danilkinilya1242 They limit the amount of catchup you can get from CS now. The most catchup you can get now is +100 spree, which is still significant.

22:45 forgive me if i sound dumb as i dont play deathwish since im not that far in the game yet, but is there a particular reason why you dont force the npcs to stand at the objectives then just like hide in a corner or somthing till the objective is complete. are they just not as reliable as the npcs on overkill? cuz i could just slap dallas chains and hox ontop of a drill hide in a corner and no cop would get near me or the drill (unless its a dozer but i do helpout on dozers)
AI in higher difficulties exist to soak up damage and distract the enemy away from you, if you want them to do something useful then you're in for a bad time, cause they're stupid

So since there will be a half life event soon, could you complete payday 2 with a gordon freeman build? Like using the weapons he had used
Correct me if I'm wrong but can't one run through of cook off can get you all the requirements as it can get you to lv 100 and get you well over $1bn in about an hour or so.
For me I just kept repeatedly playing Cook Off on Overkill and above to grind my exp. It was easy exp gain as I found a good strategy to keep cops from overwhelming me while cooking up a metric ton of meth.

The big bank hack is the bane of my existence as a solo stealther
I got a challenge for you. “Can you beat payday 2 only with deployable and throwable?” It’s simple, you can only use deployable(medic bag/kits, ammo bags, shaped charges/trip mines, and sentries(silent or loud) and throwable/items(pocket ecm, smoke bombs, whiskey, etc…).

To improve on your time I'd strongly suggest getting better at solo ECM rushing. Day 1 of election day should take 75 seconds at most, just sprint to the computer spawns, and day 2 is fully rushable solo so long as you don't let yourself get snagged.

is there any chance you could get faster runs by already being level 100 but earning 30mil xp for the infamy pool? Does already having all your skills save any time that way?
When did they disable the ability to go infamous with an active Crime Spree going? I used to do 3 or 4 crime spree maps before going infamous so I could start my next attempt in the 40's or 50's.

Sum of ILs is always there to remind you that your run could be better, but it's an unattainable goal. My Wing Commander 1 record is 13 and change, but my sum of ILs shaves an entire two minutes off the run. Except it's just RNG, RNG, RNG. I have in fact NEVER been able to get the RNG seed that enables the Rostov 1 IL time in any% - I'm not even sure it's possible to complete Rostov 1 with that strategy except after freshly loading the game lol

firstly you must use jacket and the sociopath perk deck, along with the usual no ai
however, just like in Hotline Miami, you will use different masks (not actually in game payday masks, just gameplay effects)
you start at the first mask (Richard) and after completing a mission, you go to the next mask, if you do them all go back to the start

It does suck to know that there is around like 20 good to okay exp mission makers. But everything else is kinda dumb to do unless it gives you big exp bonus for the next mission. But I do play some low exp missions when I wanna have fun in there lol. I wish they maybe gave out more exp tho. Like instead of 15% extra. Every time you don't do a mission. It gets like 1% increase for all other missions. So if you never do 1 mission. And finish the game with 1000 missions done. That 1 mission you never did has an extra %1000 exp bonus.
I’ve been playing Payday 2 for several years and I still haven’t completed Big Bank in stealth once. I’ve managed Golden Grin a few times, but not Big Bank 😡🤬
Payday 2 stealth just isn’t worth it sometimes
I have played Payday 2 since 2015 off and on. But during my recent resurge in interests I finally got the dsod stealth without the alarm going off for big bank. It was such an accomplishment but the rng makes me never want to do it again, lol

Next do a speedrun from Infamy 0 to Infamy 100. You could easily shave a few minutes off that 2 year record by performing slightly better on Election Day day 2
Being infame and killing more in loud doesn'f fell rewardy. I hope they fix that feeling in pd 3. Idk maybe get more xp in loud if you kill more or when you go infame you can upgrade you weapons or smtin.
in case anyone sees this a year later the current fastest infamy rotation has a record of 28:41 real time from level 0 to 100 (unlike the marc video which starts at level 41), a demonstration of said rot is on my channel for the fastest recorded time (29:07, same squad), no duping or oob glitching either, just good routing

Best way to reach Infamy without being crazy, do all achievements and use Infamy Pool XD
I was farming infamy for like 40 infamies and it became so much of a chore I quit playing payday for like a year. Now I'm randomizing weapons for every infamy and playing career around whatever the randomizer chooses for me, a lot more fun. Out of achievements and trophies to do except for infamy achievements and robdacop
