Thank you! It was somewhere around 1/8" thick tubing from what I remember. However I built this car over 10 years ago 😄 I cut the pieces long and used a template to shape the ends where it met the unibody framework so the weld joints were tight.
Thank you. I built it about 10 years ago and have put about 75k miles on it since the swap; it was my daily driver for a long time. Im sure I have pictures saved on an old computer somewhere. This has a built 6 bolt engine with 2.2l
I had a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX donor for my swap parts. I mounted its' subframe under the Mirage using some 2"x3" steel tubing. I narrowed the rear brace to fit into the unibody rails of the Mirage. I even welded the Eclipse mounting bolts so it bolted up like factory. I have another Mirage Sedan that is mostly AWD swapped but haven't had time to finish it unfortunately. It's been in storage for about 7 years now 😫
Great work, I am curious what wall thickness did you end up using on the 2x3 box steel tube you used to mount the awd rear in?
Thank you!

Info about knuckle hub? From 4 bolt to 5 bolt??
It has 1G Eclipse front hubs swapped in to make it 5 lug in the front. The rear is a modified 1G Eclipse subframe with 5 lug.
@@PostRt thank you bro
Anymore updates ?
Nothing in the works yet. I have two other big projects that need to be finished before I can play with this car again.
Nice!! I’m building a 95 awd sedan … do you have any build info?.

@@PostRt did you use evo stuff or 1g DSM + hacking?
