I wonder what Tipek's mom would think of Makitis' conlang? If she and Tipek ever meet up, perhaps at a high school reunion if that's a thing, and then he mentions it to his mom, it'd be interesting to see what a professional linguist in this culture thinks of such a thing.
I just realized I was already working on a conconlang before this video 😂 People wanted to be able to use language to use magic so some smart people changed their own language to make it fitting. The original language is supposed to be naturalistic although it is not, the new language could be called a conconlang
Wow, I've been lately watching some Lichen the Fictioneer's videos and in one of those he spoke about how underseen is the translation of colloquial speech and the fact that a language comes to be for this exact purpose is just an amazing thing, but it gets x^2 when it is your characters who develop those means. I'm currently working on my most fleshed out language and it's taking me a fair bit of time to get my grammar right, but this has become a huge source of inspiration. Saludos desde México.
The conlang I am developing is an auxlang for the future speakers of my native language, after it diverges apart due to being sidelined in education. It could be called more of an aux-future lang, but I think conlangers around the world find the concept of speakers of their conlangs thinking about their own conlangs very fascinating.
Something I really wanna do someday is make a bunch of languages for my fictional world, then use words and features from those to make an IAL for the world
My first conlang is also a conlang in my (barely developed) conworld. In that world, it's an auxlang that serves as the official language of a union of four countries previously at war, who spoke languages from the same family tree but mutually unintelligible. As a beginner conlanger, it's nice to see that more experienced conlangers have, too, found the concept of a meta-conlang interesting :)
Say, I wonder what jan Misali might say about this...

Well me too - could be interesting The conlang itself isn’t too good tho, it’s more the concept that was important for me, especially because I wanted to give it that "first conlang" vibe.
I want to know what technology Yoyolia uses, is it bronze age, iron age, modern age, perhaps even the stone age?
3 года назад+1
Well Yoyolia is a country in Jonsello. I call the whole world “Tekam” sometimes, that’s Käntwo for earth. It is connected to our world and many other universe through tunnels that a deity created. Jonsello and following that also Yoyolia are in a pretty modern world, although they have not that much technology, no electricity etc They have elements of Bronze Age and Medieval times but with modern standards.
Languages that aren't Käntwo: Marquese, Enosh, and Seltisip. Where can I find more information about these conlangs?

Hey so you can find some other language stuff of mine on my Instagram and Twitter. I’m @kaentwo on both. And if you want to find out more about the background and so on, you can visit my homepage but I haven’t yet added everything, I started building the site only a few weeks ago. The link is: kaentwo.wordpress.com Thanks for being interested!
@ Thanks for that. Also, I looked at the phonology chart in Nguh's showcase of your conlang, and I'm having trouble making sense of which sounds are phonemes and which are allophones. I know the macron vowels represent length distinction in the romanization, and I think that the a with the diaresis diacritic represents the vowel represented by epsilon and not the one represented by ash. And I'm starting to wonder about which fricative chi represents. It represents two obviously, with one being an allophone of the other.
Hey y’all, thanks for watching.
Please check out the accounts of the voice actors and artist by clicking on the info box!
The "ewa" at the end really looks like an Easter egg hidden here by a fan of Worldbuilding Notes
Hehehe, actually I now found out what you meant :D
It’s just a funny coincidence
People keep getting more and more creative in the conlang community. Maybe I'll make one some day.
Aw thanks!
I can really recommend you trying it, it’s a great element for deep-worldbuilding
it's very rewarding
You should! It’s really fun! One tip make a language that uses the Latin alphabet before making a new alphabet
Professor Lezor's VA is incredible, whoever he is, thank you
It's Agma Schwa; he has a youtube channel following a similar vein as Kantwo's
*INCEPTION INTENSIFIES*
Lmao yes, maybe I will attempt making a con con Conlang lol

Awww omg that means a lot to me! Glad you enjoy it

As a Berber speaker, I think I'm recognizing some stuff. Both script and language

Haha awesome!
Then that same person explores the same possibility discussed in this video, and the cycle continues.
Haha yes I should make a conlang inception
I take it that you obviously mean Makitis.

Käntwo : let's make a con-conlang!!
Hahaha
I'm just caught up by the city name being YOYO.
Lmao yes it comes from the dawn of my Conlang and worldbuilding time and I just stuck with it lmao
@ It is perfection, never change it.
I won’t hahaha, it was funnily derived from a syllable of my name lmao
I love it! Awesome video, you've got a new subscriber :)
Heheh thank you so much, I appreciate it a lot!
Awesome video! Also you have a very soft and likeable voice
Aww thanks that’s very flattering

Very interesting! I thought of con-conlangs in my conworlds, but not to the extent of this. :)

yessss K Klein did something like this
I was also concidering making a con-conlang. It would be used as a trading language on a continent.
Ooh nice that sounds great. Go for it
You clearly take some large amount inspiration from arabic

Atlohladu and Lewinian are two of the other languages whose features were added into Bir ?ip ?ihl. Am I spelling the first language's name wrong?
Hey, yes! It’s Átło Ładu
Shouldn’t the case chart at 7:00 have dual as well?
Not in the „new“ lang
Sauron did it first
😂😂😂
You cant just throw around the native lang like that, theres already a linguistic youtuber named that
Wdym lmao native lang is just the mother language isn’t it haha
@ ye, but theres also a channel named it lol
@@WatermelonEnthusiast9 yeeea I know they’re nice haha
Out of curiosity, I wonder what the intro music is...
Wait the time of my intro?
@ 0:00-0:04
Oh well Nguh made that for me
@ MAybe I should ask him if he could create an OST channel.
You mean OST like the soundtrack stuff?
Does the o with diaresis represent [ø] or [œ] in Kaentwo?
It’s [ø]
@ Thanks for that. Also, I looked at the phonology chart in Nguh's showcase of your conlang, and I'm having trouble making sense of which sounds are phonemes and which are allophones.
