Wow, oh...

Me bro
I have lived in 200 m near Ha Noi station for 8 years since 2011. I really miss these scenes along the rail ways.
Thank you for videos.
The train horn/whistle is probably good for one or two trips before needing overhaul. Seems like they sound it on a whim. This is one of the best train videos on RUclips.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Good grief. When I started watching this I couldn’t pause/stop it until the end of the journey. Great trip! 🐨🇦🇺
Thankyou đúng tuyến đường mình thích, nhớ lại ngày bé hay lên chỗ tuyến đường sắt chạy qua phố Phùng Hưng để chơi tưởng tượng ra lái tầu qua đó như thế nào, giờ mới có cảm giác lái lái tàu qua đoạn đó, bao nhiêu kỷ niêm lại ùa về. Một lần nữa xin cám ơn bạn
This is rally a good way to experience Vietnam - from the cockpit of a train. You see nature, buildings and ordinary people doing their things. I like trains because you get an expression of the real life of Vietnamese and you get the time to digest what you see. Did the driver allow you into his cockpit?
No, i guess the train driver allow him to attach the camera on the front of the train. It's so cool and i want to do that but not sure i am allow. Is it me or the camera frame rate ain't smooth , it's jerky.
cab..not cockpit
Ste Hes
And you see a lot of shit and plastic beside de trafficroad and railway. Shame on you people of Vietnam.
Can i sit beside the driver? For video taking?
Very good video...I work as a conductor for Amtrak and its obvious that the engineer of this run HAS to use his horn often....my guess is that there are a lot of fatalities on these lines...there are road crossing without gates, maybe flashing lights, but that won't deter people from driving over the tracks at their own peril.....for some of the people here that can't understand that, just remember that this railroad is in a country unlike the United States and is subject to the rules and regulations of its country
I more thinking animals. If you hit a cow, you are dead... and so is the cow.
I fear you are correct. Me, a European
Incredible how the doors & windows along the ROW in Hanoi open virtually right onto the track.
THANK YOU for this video!! I am FASCINATED by this!
A BIG thumbs up and subbed!
Thank you for next great travel! Its big pleasure to watch movies like this! :)
Cảm ơn bác, cả đời ngồi sau mà giờ mới đc tận mặt thấy những gì đằng trc
Love the pastel coloured houses with their open top floor 👍
I love the look of Hanoi in this video. Looks like a fun place to visit!
:D
Americans never fail to amaze me. they spend 7 years bombing Hanoi's railway and now criticize at some of its disrepair. I like the video. Vietnamese people do the best with what they have.... and Hanoi looks like a neat place.
American's never fail to amaze me either - and I'm one of them!
Germany and Japan don't look like this. Also, the ARVN was with us too.
thanks
Who was criticizing it? I just mentioned that it was built by France in the 19th century, narrow gauge track, from Hanoi to Saigon. Who was criticizing it?
@@brucemarsico6 Yes, enjoy 19th century.
Great video,a nice experience to understand the current status of Vietnam‘s railway. Especially the gauge is 1000 mm, they drive the train much faster than the same rail in China.
Saya suka lihat kemudahan keretapi Vietnam (Love to see Vietnam's railways infrastructure)
I know this is just a camera attached to the front of a train video,...but this is absolutely fascinating. I'm was so glued to the screen, that I watched the entire video without realizing it............ More please! Did anybody else get the travel bug after watching this?
Oh, thanks however, this also kind of lifestyle in Vietnam, not only for train fans, right?
@@marshartdegen Well done, my friend! Maybe one day Ill go there check out the trains for myself.
Encore mille merci
I really liked the video!!
Thank you my friend!!
Enjoyable journey ... Wish I could do this ride in person but this works. Thank you!
Interesting to say the least. Nice right of way too. This is from a CSX conductor in Michigan. Did the same for 40 years.
What a wonderful video. Thank you so much.
Love the diesel exhaust sound. BEAUTIFUL!
Interesting Engine indeed.
Now I curious which locomotives are they using? D18E? D20E?
Thank you for tooting and hooting and warning children and animals that your train is coming. Thank you for being a good driver.
Fantastic video, nice clear view. I love seeing the way people in other countries live and where they live. It is incredible how close to the homes this train is, that must be interesting, having a train rumble by your back door, the horn blasting and the crazy danger of it ..
Chờ đợi mãi đến giờ mới xem đc trọn vẹn hành trình hà nội hải phòng.. cảm ơn ad nhiều
:)
Big respect for such a ride, Greetings from Poland.
Thanks, Polandball. :D
9c. But, please include a back-mirror at the front camera too; so that we can check the back at the same time. :)
Thanks for showing around Vietnam
( From Brazil 🇧🇷👍) incredible journey...🙏👏👏👍
Veľmi prekrasne natočené video 😉😉😉😉.
Pochvala a palec hore 😉😉😉😉😉.
Perfektné super 😉😉😉😉😉.
Ó, ďakujem, prosím, pozoruj moje video, mám viac videí o vlakoch. :D
Připojuji se k pochvale.
PS: Jen z toho houkání mě rozbolela hlava...
Thank you very much for this amazing driver's view. This gains me some know-how of your Train traffic system (even into some of the weirdest paths) and gets me to some of your calming nature - with trashes sometimes ruin the fun (duh).
:D
Thank you very much for another great trip :)

you've made my day. great thanx!
So good.
Totally interesting although the constant horn gets rough at times.
This is a horn fetish!
The horn has to be blown because the tracks are sometimes very close to roads and/or crossings, so to warn others of danger!
Thank you for your upload this video. Im relaxing
😁
Video is good, camera is good, Nice and quit look
Excellent, on this way you can learn a country very well.
Thanks Much for this well-done vid. I love videos like these & I'll check out your other videos shortly. Definitely a great way to see parts of different countries!!!
Thanks, I have some other train driver record videos, if you have time, you can watch it all. :D
Thanks Much. Yes, I plan on seeing them all.
Been to 'nam in 2017. this brings great memories! when watching you must imagine stifling heat and humidity to get the full effect.
Not if it's during the winter months
@@Gjunkie08 hahahaahahah winter.... in southeast asia.... good one
@@itsgabibelle Yes, north & central Vietnamese cities do have 4 seasons including a winter period. Might wanna do your research before commenting.
Thanks for your video. It’s nice to watch with 2x speed
High Speed train. lol
Hello, very interesting the trips in Vietnam. The rubbish next to the tracks and the thermite from the welding of the rails are disturbing, and you haven't heard anything about them. It's also fascinating to see the trains being watched by the employees who are standing in front of the building.
Yes, hello, uh😁
Thanks for watching.
Just gorgeous, thank you
Great train video experience, but that horn ticked me off!!! Geesh!!! I love the roar of the motor and the clicking of the train on the tracks and the sights were awesome too..... but that HORN!!!!!!! Even when he was traveling through countryside he was literally riding the horn!!!!
Complain to the communist government and I am sure they will take your complaint into consideration.
A lot of hard work for the driver with all those side roads a good way to see the country after the troubles looking good .
Very impressive journey video well documented- thanks for posting.....
Thanks
:D
Thanks for this great video and greetings from Germany!
Please put a small google live map on the top right corner, so people will know actually where it is about.
Sadly didn't record GPS in that time... Please find this information on Wikipedia.
Really enjoy your train videos :) I watch them again and again :)
😍😍😍
E rất thích vid này a làm đúng về tuyến e yêu thích
Wonderful, your videos are always GooD.
Excellent video! Locomotive operator is too horn happy. Sounds like a flying RC airplane running out of fuel.
I like this video. I have traveled this route from the south by night train.A long time ago.
it's hard to get out of these, you always want to see what's around just one more corner
Vietnam is a beautiful country. : )
😅
I can see my house in this video 🤗🤗🤗😁😁😁
Never Seen Anything Like This In The World A Railroad In Vietnam That Goes Directly In Between Homes And Downtown Looks Like a Alley way And Across a Long Bridge I Never knew This Even Existed What part of the city Is This I am Really Amazed By The Scenery And the Surroundings And What Kind of Engines Do you Use Thank You Very Much For the Wonderful Ride
lol
Oh, good.
Many Southeast Asian countries have dangerous railway,so not only us

So sad.. I left vn over 40years and not thing improving and only look older..
Việt Nam just finished first metro line

Remek videó Gratulálok! Magyarországról.
Vietnam beautiful
ráng quay tất cả cả đoạn rồi ghép lại cho full tuyến thống nhất với mấy tuyến miền bắc . luôn luôn ủng hộ !!!
Cảm ơn rất nhiều. :D
That train horn sounds like a sick goose.
lol
Hermoso video! Espero que pronto pueda estar allí. Saludos desde Mar del Plata, Argentina!

Even it is so dangerous,..I really enjoy this environment. The train running between the building,..so narrow, almost no space, makes some uniqe feeling
Haha, you got the point. lol
30:35 this is Hưng Yên , my home town
Great!
Awesome
I feel that the environment there is a bit similar to Indonesia.
tbh as well as cambodia
@@GH0STIVE Yeah, typical SEA Countries, except Singapore as it looks more developed than the average.

Been long for a trip to Vietnam. Sadly I didn't have a chance to take a ride on Kunming - Hanoi train before the passenger service stops.

Làm video tuyến đường sắt kép đi ga hạ long đi anh
this is a nicer way of exploring things and plus it cost nothing :)
pretty strange that he is using the horn on the long bien bridge.
Yup, very strange! I wonder if it's just the engineer's/train driver's (bad) habit, or is it per railway regulation.
Have some people take a photo on the railway so the driver must do it for saving
