I was in a tough spot once and had no gas or money, i needed something to put gas in and couldn’t afford a gas can from the gas station. I had stopped by to ask if they had a can for me to borrow.. they had a 3 gallon gas can and it had some gas in it, they said take it and keep the can, “young man like you ought to have a gas can” I went back on payday with the gas can filled up but they refused to take it back. They probably don’t remember that act of kindness but i always will.

They were my "go-to" mechanics for my entire life until they passed away. They kept my old cars running, just as they did my dad's before me. I grew up in Boston after emigrating from Southern Italy as a young kid, and luckily group up with old world, decent Christian values.I love Texas and the great people that make up the wonderful state. Texans remind me of my fellow Neopolitans and Bostonians: Tough, honest, hardworking salt of the earth people. God bless Texas and the USA 🇺🇸

These are the kind of people, when one passes on, the next isn’t too far behind. So much knowledge and history will be lost at one time😥
