And its pretty much a movie about a secret admirer of sorts. So the idea is that Normani puts on "dance shows" in the hotel room of the hotel Khalid works in as a valet and he's the admirer whose grown to enjoy them. So it becomes a regular thing that they do, all while not knowing who the other is personally. That's why Normani walks straight past Khalid when he opens the door of her car. She doesnt know its him and he also doesnt know its her.
