Workflow, auto gain and conflict graph are great features. Great eq for Ableton Live users.
Ignored all other reviews of the Claro, until MIKE!
same
Thanks Mike. I just saw this in the online manual, which explains why I wasn't seeing the track names in Studio One 5 using the AU version. With the VST3 version the track names show. "Please use VST3 in all DAWs which support VST3 and AU. Claro's Mix view is only supported for the AU format in Logic Pro X."
Great plug-in review once again, Mike!
I hadn’t come across Sonnox plugs before, obviously been livening under a rock! This has terrific features & great sound. Cheers 🍻
Thanks Mike... I always trust your opinions on gear
and software. With the current Spring Sale (2023) price,
this looks waaaay attractive. sf
Thanks again Mike for the awesome review; when I saw this plugin it definitely caught my eye as well
Nailed it! Great plugin, I've been getting mucho grande use out of it
Mike, please use what pull you might have to ask Sonnox to bring their EQ into this century. Auto gain and a new sexy GUI is in order. Thanks in advance! 🙏
Thanks Mike! another professional review from you! interesting that the volume does not increase or decrease if you want it, at the same time it is probably the case that at this you want to increase or decrease, for example bass guitar or kick. Understand that I need to test but wonder when on what occasion to avoid volume changes?
All the best //Peter
Thanks for this cool review. How does this compare to smart:eq 3 from sonible? two different plugins or not, in your opinion, of course.
Great review and EQ. It's a shame they left out the possibility of controlling it with dynamic control.
Was just thinking this while watching. If it did, it would be a serious competitor to FF Pro-Q3
I will wait until they add dynamic capabilities.
@@realmusic4you i think i’ve read sonnox doesn’t have a history of adding major upgrades like that, so I wouldn’t hold my breath
@@realmusic4youthey still haven’t sadly, but it’s otherwise a great EQ. Just fly in another EQ like Nova for some dynamic adjustments.
Sick drums... my iPad came..
Workflow looks great!! Is there a dynamic eq option in there somewhere? How would you say the auto gain rates against pro q3's?
Is any special routing required in the DAW to do the dual EQ feature?
iZotope neutron can do same thing plus dynamic compressor and many other options... This EQ does not even have a sidechain option....Neh...
Any thoughts on comparing this to SmartEQ3 by sonible? Claro might lack the AI-feature but the workflow looks quite intuitive.
Smart eq by Sonible is pretty bad. Routinely makes absurd "ai" decisions. It's very gimmicky.
SmartEQ has more auto mixing tools. There is a tool to adjust the tracks to sit more forward or backwards in the mix to reduce masking that works pretty well.
👍
No sidechaine, no dynamic.... 👎
The wheel invented again…
That’s snare roll sounds so cheesy
What a bitchy comment..... oh... “Queen”.. figures 🤷
@@natlove219 what in denial that the snare fill sounds not even close to a real feeling drum roll.
I guarantee you’re not even a real drummer if you are you would know exactly what I’m talking about. And not take offense so easily.
This is 1 more reason why most music sucks today you can’t play professionally- most people today can’t even play an instrument- it’s a joke
@@queenrothchild343 your music is trash tho, so now what?
