I remember about 55 yrs ago needing to go really bad while at the mall with my Mom. We didnt realize they changed it and it cost ten cents. I crawled under so the bathroom monitor opened the door and made me come out.
I travel a lot… and bathrooms are different in other countries. Down in South America public toilets are kind of rare, and almost all of them are pay toilets with an attendant outside. You pay your money and if going #2 you ask for toilet paper… they seriously only give you like 4 sheets. And it’s the cheapest 1 ply paper ever. And another thing… you’re not supposed to flush your paper… but instead put it in the small trash can next to the toilet. So you can imagine the smell. Just some of the joys of traveling.
Hot water is painful to wash your hands in, if your hands are numbingly cold. Cold water feels good when your hands are freezing from being outside in sub-freezing temps.

So spot on. I fought with the faucet trying to get it to turn on.... had to find the sensor "sweet spot" ... it is awful. I thought I would be stuck woth a dolup of soap and theyvonly had an air dryer and not even anything to WIPE it off my hands... I did get the faucet to turn on. But geez... yeah. Not great technology
I don’t use a cover.. but I do get wet paper towels with soap on them and dry ones in the other hand and I wash the toilet seat before I sit down. Or I grab the hand sanitizer out of my backpack and use on the seat and surrounding area. Those ass gaskets don’t work lol. Flush the toilet and it whips toilet water on your bum 😂
This sink talk has me reminiscing the house I grew up in hot ass showers with pressure that could feel your skin back. But showers didn't take as long, same with the toilet you could flush an Apple down those things not having to flush more than once if there's a lot in the bowl LOL. So are we really saving water or just harassing people's lives

I work as a cleaner in a shopping mall. The toilets in that place are all fucked up. There are sensors for flushing the toilet, get water flowing in the sink, getting soap - BUT the hand towel dispensers are all manual and a lot of people have great difficulties with them. However. Unlike the sensors Fluffy is talking about, in my place of work, the problem is the sensors are working too well. I walk into a stall, put my cart in the door to keep it propped open, grab a microfibre cleaning-wipe and the toilet will flush. As I'm wiping the sink, my hand passes under the soap dispenser for like a tenth of a second and 6 inches away, but still "squirt"and I have to wipe again. Thankfully, by then the dispenser works as fluffy described.

Oh no, they wanted to go environment friendly so ours has this thing where you pull 1 piece of paper out every time, just like he ends the sketch with, except ours isn't automated. So if you need to go number 2 and you sit there, you are pulling out lots of those, 1 at a time, it's super annoying. and yeah, the bathroom has the fosse with a sensor, same with the soap thing, but then this big blower thing to dry your hands with, because, environment friendly.
I don't do public toilets unless I'm in Japan. Toilets in Japan are fabulous. The seats are heated you can sanitize it it has warm water spraying your butthole it air dries you and 🎶
