I have this same bag and it’s one of my favorites! I did end up changing the turn lock hardware on mine because that was the only part of the bag that showed any wear whatsoever! Vintage Coach is practically indestructible, and I agree totally about how much this rather small bag can hold. It’s super practical. Thanks for sharing and I’m glad it was ok despite that poor packaging.
You’re right, they are pretty indestructible! I’d have to say the brass hardware on this one is the best in my collection. I really don’t think it was ever used, the turnlock and buckles don’t have a single scratch.
I purchased a rare Willis bag from Poshmark few years ago, and the young lady stuck it in a similar mailer. It was a miracle the wooden dowel didn’t break in transport! I understand it saves the seller money, but it risks a greater loss of a sale and future business. Glad your bag turned out ok. I always hung my Coach hang tag on the interior zipper back in the day when the vintage bags were the bags purchased in the stores, actually I still do that, so the tag doesn’t get lost.
It’s just so disappointing that this type of shipping is becoming the norm, even directly from Coach! That hang tag trick is so clever, I’m going to start doing it. TFW 🥰
Thank you! 🤗 Yes, I’m just dumbfounded that a seller would think that was a smart idea. I can’t remember the last time I got a bag in a box on EBay. Thank goodness it arrived unscathed!
Hm, I’ll now start asking sellers what they ship in! I’m the same as you when I sell: the item arrives in a cloud of protection. Of course, I’m not trying to make money, just lose less. 🤓 Your bag looks amazing! I’ve only purchased one vintage Coach and it holds a special place in my collection. :-) Congrats on the great find!!
I hate when my bags are shipped without "love"😮. I do understand how you felt. On a good note, this bag is gorgeous and it's in excellent condition. The leather is beautiful. Luv, Luv the Rambler even though I don't have one. I agree that vintage is the way to go. Great share❤👝👜💄
Yikes that packaging… Glad it came out ok. I like your yellow LV wallet. @6:50 I call them headset 😂. Beautiful bag. I like the rambler look. Maybe one day I’ll get lucky and find one. Awesome price as always. Thanks for this info.
I was so worried when I saw that buckle peeking out, but this is honestly one of the nicest vintage bags I’ve received. The Rambler holds so much! TFW 🥰
I just received a vintage coach legacy rambler 9061 made 2003 in the Dominican Republic. The bag is impeccable but there are a couple of things that are bothering me about it. (1) The brass strap buckles are about 1 1/4 inch with the strap measuring 1 inch wide. It just seems too small/narrow. The vintage coach legacy small flap 9965 bag I received just prior to this rambler has measurements that are slightly smaller, yet the strap is 1 1/4 inch wide and the brass buckle is 1 1/2 inches. This bag was made in 1997 in the US. (2) The inside zipper on the rambler isn’t brass. The pull is but the zipper itself is plastic. This is not the case with the small flap. Does this sound legit to you, or could it be a really good knock off? Other than these 2 discrepancies everything else checks out by the book.
Thanks for watching! I can’t really authenticate bags, but I do have one vintage Coach hobo from the 90’s that does have the plastic zipper/brass pull combo and it’s legit. I’m not sure if that was ever done on the Ramblers, though.
@@VintageSac Thanks. I have noticed that same plastic/brass combo on other Rambler bags after scouring the internet. This together with your response gives me a little more peace. I really appreciate your response ❤️ Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

There’s just something about vintage coach leather and turn locks 😍 After watching this, I think I’m gonna change into my coach city bag.
Awww, yes, time to show off that City Bag!

Yea, I'm with you on the packaging. Especially with it being a leather item, but your bag is so beautiful 😍. TFS🤗

Wow, that’s in amazing shape, what a beauty 👜
It really is! It looked pretty good in the auction pics, but I was amazed in person 🥰
I have that bag in gray. Haven’t carried it in years. Bought it in 2000-01 I think 💭. Beautiful
Oooh, sounds pretty. I don’t think I’ve seen a grey one 😍
What a great find 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks so much! I absolutely love it 😍
It is in beautiful shape despite the packaging. Great find. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Yes, she and I got lucky 🍀 It just shows how sturdy these vintage bags are!
Love your bag...very good condition .thank you for sharing your unboxing...so happy for you .
Thank you so much! I love being able to share my excitement 🥰
I pack the same way for my business. I do the whole experience even with a little hand written thank you note.
It’s so nice to see that as a buyer, but if feels like the majority of people don’t care anymore, most buyers don’t bother to leave feedback 😔

Thanks so much! I may start asking as well. I know shipping is expensive, but so is losing customers with shoddy packaging.

I was so relieved to see it was in excellent condition! Thanks so much for watching 🥰
Very pretty!😍😍🖤 Rambler's are great.
Heeey Miss Alana! I see you’ve got your Rambler out, too.💕
@@VintageSac yes, I pulled out the Rambler and binge watched Rambler videos, which is why I'm here.😄 Enjoyed your video!
Wow it’s beautiful considering the fail packaging! Tfs
Right?! I definitely lucked out. I would have had Fort Knox packaging on this beauty.

Which Rambler is this. The 9061 or 9965?
I believe both of mine are 9061

How they packed that is terrible!! I don’t pack bags like that if I ship them out ever..tsk
I know, I was horrified!
