** As a small disclaimer, I do get a little salty toward the end of the vid while discussing Coach's current strategy of selling vintage bags directly via its website at a massive markup. I don't harp on it for too long, but I definitely express my opinion. My mini rant is absolutely not directed at anyone who has purchased one of the vintage pieces from Coach, but rather directly at the company itself.

I worked in a Coach store in 1989. It is so cool to see the bags we were selling then, along with their correct names and numbers!
Bought my first coach bag in 1979 still have it it’s like new ty so much for sharing!
I remember I saw someone compare Coach to Hermes leather and I laughed and said yeah f***ing right. Then I purchased a few recently and now I have to say after being able to bring back a city bag from 1980 in terrible condition back to life and leaving it in a like new condition makes me say that yes. It rivals Hermes and sometimes exceeds Hermès quality.
As someone who has owned both I totally agree. I sold my Hermes Birkin and Victoria because of how they wore over time. I still have my Coach bags. Ferragamo is also stellar!

I was a Federal Reserve Bank Junior Examiner right out of college in Dallas Texas and having a Coach Bag was 'required uniform'!!! That and a gold Cross pen!

I bought a coach vintage coach bag at a yard sale for 4.00 it’s worth 500.00 ❤️ it so I’m going to keep it in my collection!
You have some really gorgeous bags. The older bags are made so well, I remember going to thrift stores and flea markets I. The 80s and 90s and seeing old Coach bags, pretty beat up but there was something about the stamped creed and the workmanship that made their brand so special!!! I’m always amazed at how well these clean up, too.

I still have my Quincy bag in navy from the early 90’s. I had a court bag but got rid of it many years ago. Kicking myself for that. Vintage Coach is classic.
The British Tan City Bag is my dream! I will find one in good condition in price range at some point and love it to pieces. Lovely collection and thank you for showing. :)
I hope you're able to get one soon - it's so worth hunting down! It's still one of my favorite bags, and I've worn it so much over the years. Love how it can totally survive being an EDC even if I'm not particularly careful with it. :)
I’m so envious of your vintage Coach bag collection! I once had a Willis and returned it because I thought it was too small to carry all my stuff. What I wouldn’t give now to have it back. My sister had her Coach city bag stolen from a Boston hospital where she worked.

I am a big fan of vintage coach bags and I own several of them. Among my collection, I also have the Station bag in black and Willis bag in British tan, but the Willis bag in black is absolutely gorgeous. The Patricia Legacy is also a favorite of mine. The black is my go-to and the British Tan is also beautiful but now you have me wanting the mahogany.
I'm generally a British tan or black Coach leather girl, too, but there's really something about the dark, dark red tones in the mahogany that I'm just loving right now. Let me know if you end up picking up anything in the shade!!

Pocket purse is absolutely gorgeous I bought mine for 100.00 new in 1979 mint condition!!!!!!!

I think that's one of the things I love most about vintage Coach - it's the epitome of practical, minimalist chic. The bags aren't bling-y at all, but they feel like quality.

Amazing collection! I love how you have a mix of items that fit your lifestyle but also some that are quirky and different! Coach bags are like an art where you just want a specific kind of bag just to admire them! At least, that's how it seems like for me so far haha. My first vintage Coach bag is the City Bag and it's my favorite bag! So, I was quite jelly how you have different colors! I recently added a Janice bag and a Rambler and I'm now eyeing on the 9966! I do agree that it's crazy how Coach is pricing their vintage bags for a crazy amount of money...who knows if the quality is the same...anyway, love your video! Totally didn't mind it being long!

Some of the early designs from Cashin are just so gorgeous, but I don't know that I'd ever take them down from my shelf if I had them. :) I've been wanting a Rambler (either the original or the Legacy - or the recent versions, for that matter) for ages, but always seem to juuuuuuuust miss out on them. Here's hoping I get lucky and snag one sometime in the near future.

I love the City Bag in British Tan! There's actually someone in my locality selling it, but the condition is so bad. And the seller had already dyed the poor bag into gold 😅 would really like to get the City Bag in tan!!!
And I absolutely love your Coach collection! Coach vintage bags are made with such superb quality, I don't even want to look to the higher-end luxury brands like Louis Vuitton or Chanel ever again 😂😂😂 if you ask me, these Coach vintage bags actually feel a lot more expensive than the higher-end luxury brands above 🌚 I'm actually selling off all my Diors, LV, and Chanel to make a permanent switch to vintage Coach! (Though I'm keeping one Chanel and one LV)
Vintage Coach bags are so under rated. I'm loving my black Penny Pocket right now, and my 9791 shoulder backpack. I'm currently looking to get the Scooter bag and City Bag. They're so simple, practical, and sturdy. Coach galore! 😍

I have a few of my vintage coach bags that I have found on eBay and thrift store shopping. I will use them from time to time. One of them was a wonderful find was the Patricia. Coach makes such good quality handbags. I still enjoy them. PS I just subscribed!

I loved seeing all the vintage styles. I had one Coach bag years ago that I stupidly gave away. I’ve gotten obsessed with the Cassie Crossbody this past year and I’m eyeing a Willis at the moment.

I get rid of all the big vintage Coach bags because they are so heavy. My favorite is mini Willis, 9983 and mini Willis
I can definitely understand the bigger vintage Coach bags being too heavy for someone. Full-grain leather will sadly always have the drawback of being extra pounds, but for me, the longevity it brings with it "outweighs" the cons. ;) Plus, I used to lug around a giant Dooney and Bourke Florentine Satchel, which weighs more than a small dog, so I think I'm just kind of used to heavy bags. :)

You have a beautiful collection here! You have kept it in beautiful condition. During the mid 80’s and 90’s I worked one block away from a very small Coach store in Manhattan. Too much of my paycheck was spent there! That being said I still managed to buy belts, full size and small Water Buffalo leather wallets, 4 different leather zipper accessory/makeup pouches with beige and navy ticking inside, all in black, a tan Court bag, navy Bucket bag, a Carnival bag in burgundy, a Pocket bag in brown, a chocolate daypack, a compact Pouch bag in burgundy and one close to the Court in size but without a handle that I still use a lot. More recently I’ve bought 3 on poshmark that are newer and softer leather. I don’t care for the fabric exteriors.
May I have some advice?? What leather preserver do you use? I need some help for my old stuff. It’s too heavy for me to carry around now! 😢😢 Time to sell😮
I think the 3rd one is camel colored. I recently got one of that color and I heard they are kinda rare. 🤷♀️ beautiful collection!

You are absolutely right! It's a bit less deep and doesn't have all the slip pockets, but it's very reminiscent of it. I think they're lovely.
If the strap breaks, you unscrew the hardware it’s attached to. The rings come off with a tiny eyeglass screwdriver.

I’m looking for a black Willis in nickel hardware or a black bag with nickel hardware. Small size with a turn lock. Any suggestions for styles? I love the geometric 9043. I’m a guy btw but idc. I have a casino and considered swapping out the hardware. Also have two gorgeous mini bucket bags that are rare the Littleton mini. In Pear and Chambray. Trying to decide which one of the Littletons to keep.

Poshmark has damaged bags there pricey but I love ❤️ poshmark I spend money 💰 on there mostly I purchased gorgeous real gold jewelry!!!!!!!
