I am so thankful that Walter Martin was one of the speakers I listened to as a new Christian. I wouldn’t have understood how prevalent this teaching was back in those days, but I sure get it now. Wonder how he’d address the progressive leaders of our day. Same stuff, just packaged a little differently (you know, “new and improved”). Today these heresies are mainstreamed to us - the 1/2 Gospel of a loving God, but don’t talk about God’s justice or wrath against sin. It affects the doctrine of the atonement as well, just read some of the books. Be careful who you listen to, know your Scriptures, and listen to folks who take Scripture seriously, like Walter M.
Since I cannot play my collection of Walter Martin cassette tapes, I really appreciate your work to have it on RUclips. I really miss his teaching. It is still relevant today.
Martin is an oasis in a dry parched desert of apostasy we find ourselves surrounded by in November 2020. Read his book in the early 90s “Kingdom of the Cults”. Still relevant today. Maybe more so.

I ALWAYS LIKED LISTENING TO HIS PROGRAM THE BIBLE ANSWER MAN WHICH I HAD RECORDED MANY OF THEM ON CASSETTES BACK IN THE 80'S HE MUCH FOCUSED ON THE CULTS OF THE WORLD & MANY ARE THERE...
Right before he died he debated Bishop John Spong, an infamous liberal on the John Ankerberg program. It was like God granted him a final victory before He called him home.
Refreshing to hear brave words of truth! I recently attended an educational course at my local church... and all I heard was about the evil patriarchy and toxic masculinity in the Bible... about how the Exodus was a myth and how the Bible was full of errors... I was truly shocked. Needless to say, I withdrew from the group.
Excellent contents! Also the Lord holds each of us accountable as to which ministry we give our money to. It's our duty to examine exactly what they teach before we give.
Sometimes I feel like our church is a cult, by all appearances in regard to 'friendliness' ...it's all fine and dandy, but in regard to the cross...not a word, ever..it has to do a lot of times ,yes with what is said..but more so what is meant by what is said..and even more so..what is not said. Two 'absences'..who can know the intentions of another ..and what if they are speaking 'in all sincerity'? It's not intentional (necessarily) but who can know if it is or not, if they are in fact, even aware of what is going on? When there are many people all nodding heads in approval it almost could become 'contagious' without realizing it. It's like catching the common cold when you touch a grocery cart and later wipe your eyes. You have no clue how you got the cold, but certainly it came from somewhere, and the symptoms advertise themselves..LORD wash our eyes with Your Salve, and take the dross out of ears. Is it butter or is it margarine?
May the name of the Lord be glorified, pls let's repent from our sins and accept Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives. John3-16-18. He is our only hope in this world and world to come. Blessings

But God keeps his elect whom He has appointed to salvation. 1Thessalonians 5:9-For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. This provides perspective. God is in control. Always has been always will be. Psalm 2: The people rage against Yahweh. Yahweh laughs at their foolishness. He is not threatened by it. We aren’t either. We elect are secure and rejoice in Christ.

If you are a member of a church that refuses to preach the blood of Jesus you should look for a new church home.
Still powerful and valid truth even though it was delivered so many years ago.
