Had a cheaper Dremel for years, looking to upgrade. The review on the Hilda impressed me enough to buy it, though not having a mini chuck was nearly a deal killer. Thanks Steve!
I bought another one years ago from Alixpress years ago, still going strong :)
Thanks for sharing!! I bought mine this week and I wanted to know others opinions regarding to this mini drill. Great review!
Great review Steve, glad to see you are not afraid to strip them down and give an honest opinion.
Loving the channel mate, keep up the good work.
Hi Dave thanks for watching and for your comments. Yes in future reviews I hope to show more of this type of thing. Regards Steve
Keep the videos coming Steve, you do a fantastic job, and I learn something new with every video you make.
After reading your about page I can fully sympathise. Had my ML10 for 12 years, after inheriting from my grandfather... I have only just managed to get to a point in my life where I have the will to set it up. Just know your videos are inspiring to those who struggle at times, thank you!
Hi Oliver thanks for the feedback. I hope to do some more videos soon. The ML10 is a really nice lathe from what I have seen on the internet. Regards Steve
Nice review Steve. One point of concern; when you removed the casing I noticed amongst the tangle of wires for the on/off /speed assembly that there was a bare wire poking its nose through, no insulation on it, looked like two wires twisted together?, please check for your own safety.
Hi Thanks yes I saw that I will put a bit of heat shrink wrap over it. Regards Steve
Many thanks Steve.
Always informative and educational.
Thanks for watching... Regards Steve
I got the same model, but I can not remove the collar from the tool to use flex shaft or any accessory. Is it my specimen flaw, or I do something wrong trying to unscrew it?
You can buy the chucks to suit the Hilda from banggood or aliexpress
Hi Steve,
A good unbiased review...
Take care
Paul,,
Hi Paul thanks for watching. Regards Steve.
Hi Steve, a bit off the subject but, I have a 7 x 14 Chinese mini lathe and want to put an electric motor on to drive the lead screw slower and thought that if anyone would know you would.
I would have emailed this but couldn't find your address, sorry.
