Loved it. What I love about this channel is that you capture motion with your camera really well. A very few number of lego animators actually do this, but I mean moving the camera through your battlefields or along with someone walking just makes everything so much more emersive. Great job
The USSR used the same uniform from 1943 to 1969 (not exactly the same but the only real difference was gear and they added chest pockets in 1945 but the uniform itself was almost completely unchanged) then there was a huge redesign in 1969, sad to see you missed that

Ali express, just search “Lego napoleonic” or something, they wont be hard to find. Super cheap to buy and pretty good quality too

I used acrylic paints, I found the cape for it on some Russian napoleonic war figs on Ali express and the gun is from brick arms
