Great question. But the entire market is not interested in price to performance, period. Otherwise our market would reflect the price distribution and market share distribution of Asian and South American countries closer. Out sensibilities on parts are like dum germans who dont even resell half the time. No builder with a us business modeling based on our market is gonna tell you how to min-max price to performance. Compare Gamer On A budget's recent $200 xeon rig to their over $400 one. Imo toasty bros is really bad about consistently reflecting the price sensibilities of largely backwards Americans. Its amazing how they seem to intentionally make that build and other ultra-budget rigs cost more than they should even for the parts chosen. They seem to be very carefully supporting their ideal of used costs, like most builders, except they have real influence.
Do you guys know how to pop out those slot covers? They're meant to be done with a screwdriver! Gives you massive leverage instead of trying to wiggle and push direcvtly they snap right off!
It isn't worth the money saved to buy cheap storage. They can end up being slower than a HDD on file transfers. Often better going with a SATA SSD than a cheap NVMe. Don't want a cheap PSU either. Didn't know they made the Q300L in white. The 3050 6GB is an awful GPU. Better to get a used 2060. Getting to be at the point those cheap Ryzens with only 8GB L3 Cache aren't great. Getting a 5700X3D showed me that a lot of games do better with more cache.
parrot the basic gaming needs. just say they need to spend 2x the amount because the same sitaution will come down in a year or two. there are tons on older hardware being used to play current up to date games, its just a large portion of those parts will not get past 60-70 fps consistantly. just tell them the truth with actual numbers. not "take this 6 year old hardware over something brand new" because if that was the case the 1080 ti is better than the 2060 by a large amount... but doesnt have RTX / DLSS and some DX 12 features.
Lol really? I've never experienced a genuinely slow (compared to cost) m.2, either standard, and that brand is fine. I build rigs with the cheapest known real capacity aliexpress nvme drives, and even test tempting ones for others. My Suuperheer brand 512gb gen 3 nvme cost only about $20-$23. Actually I think builders like Nerd on a Budget are so much better than these guys as minimizing REAL cost that they shouldnt even really be looked at for min cost estimates, or the real cost of providing a basic warrenty. Like, getting a bad unit is the real potential cost of buying cheap if you know what ur doing. Just try to get good at finding the cheap brands for half, and it won't matter, you'll come out ahead in cost almost no matter what.
@@Lurch-Bot also did you call this psu cheap?
Arc A580 has entered the chat? Way better than a 3050 @Toasty Bros
If this comment gets 5k likes toasty bros has too build me my very own pc!
why u guys always test esport titles u need to test aaa titles too cause not everyone plays esport
Actually look into the rates of very protected psus breaking anything but themselves, this single shared braincell continuously removing competition from the pc space is a plague. Entire sane industries are built on pcs with power supplies worse than this one such as internet cafes. Get off ur high horse and tell people to replace the broken psu when it happens 2% of the time. It costs half ur 'standards'
@@Lurch-Bot if you cared about budget you'd mention something like the 2640v4 which can put up dukes with this cpu, has 25mb cache and costs $5
It is worth the money to buy cheap SSD, because they are enough for gamers. They are not slower than HDD on transfers, they simply use RAM.
i wish i have money 😢
