This was the most beautiful way of expressing in words the true meaning of the Rib concept. Thank you, Brother Dunford. It is also true that we should practice that virtue in the homes we are raised so that it becomes part of our nature to carry on in our own marriage. Totally agree with that! It makes a person sit down and reevaluate the way they treat family members and the intentions of the heart towards the self and family members. Thank you for all those precious videos filled with wisdom and truth.
It was nice you mentioned about those who have not had the blessing of marriage yet but what about those of us who have been married more than once before being sealed in our marriage nie and we both have children from previous marriages. How are we able to have an eternal family.
Keep the covenant and you will have an eternal family. That is guaranteed. Sealings aren’t really about who will we be related to and live with in the eternities. Sealings are about the covenant we need to obey in order to love and live like celestial beings so that we can have celestial relationships. “Search diligently, pray always, and be believing, and all things shall work together for your good, if ye walk uprightly and remember the covenant wherewith ye have covenanted one with another.” D&C 90:24
@@BryceDunford thank you so much for responding. My husband passed away a few months ago and our covenant marriage is what I hold fast too. I’ve been having thoughts that maybe we would have to be sealed to ex partners to order to be able to have our children in eternities - dark thoughts that I feel Satan is filling my head with but am striving to push them out of my head. Thank you for your video series - I am learning so much.
I am so sorry for your loss. But I believe with all my soul that that marriage is still alive and well and that blessings are flowing into both of your lives because of it. Hold to that covenant and I know that all things will work out for your good.
