Unboxing Ibanez LGB30

I got a beautiful Ibanez George Benson Signature LGB30.
This video is the unboxing with Take the "A" Train played on the very same guitar after replacing the strings and doing a proper setup.

Just curious: the white strip of material under the bridge saddle is placed there, I assume, to protect the surface of the guitar during shipment. Is that right? I also assume the white
strip is meant to be removed at some point. Has anyone done this? Does removal of the white strip affect the guitar's setup? Thanks. I just ordered one of these guitars.

Hi, I changed the strings and removed the plastic strip as it was put there to prevent any scratches during the transport. I usually do the guitar setup by myself. I can't tell you the difference between having it or not but I suppose it will dampen be sound transmission in acoustic mode.

I like the exterior of the Gibson case more. The guitar is beautiful, just speaking of the case.

Yeah, the guitar is fantastic. The case is a bit chunky but very good to protect such a piece of craftmanship :)

@@ralex3697 True. And the best cases for travel are visually uglier but also more beautiful because they will provide comfort to your mind as you don’t worry about jostling so much.
